Typical church rats. Very easy to predict. Always quick to judge. They only see the world through their tinny understanding. Even without knowing me you have already concluded the type of Christianity I practiced.

As for the bolded, you are very correct. My life is now in my hand. I have outgrown that stage where, if I work hard and my hardwork yields results I will give God the gratitude. But if I fail I'll blame a certain satan. I've outgrown a stage where I don't take responsibility for my life but instead, blame the devil for my failures and thank God for my success even though he contributes absolutely nothing to my success

UncleKoboko:
1, A SLÚT, wayward girl, whóre or olosho will forever be OLOSHŌ.
They never change.
What usually seem to change them is conditioning (marriage, having a child etc)
Most times when circumstances change again, they will go back to their old ways.

2, Never trust anything that comes out ot a NON-VIRGIN girl's mouth, as regards her sexual history and past. They lie 99.99% of times.

3, Women have pattern behaviours.
If she's cheated in the past, she will always cheat again.
A girl that you snatched from someone or that left someone for you, CAN ALWAYS LEAVE YOU FOR SOMEONE or will still leave you for someone else.
She can never be a loyal or committed partner.

4, If you didn't marry her as a virgin
PLEASE DO DNA TEST ON YOUR CHILDREN.
Even if you married her as and you notice or suspect misbehaviour or waywardness, PLEASE STILL DO DNA TEST. DNA TEST IS NO LONGER AS EXPENSIVE AS IT USED TO BE.

5, A woman with good morals, decent and modesty and with average looks is far more VALUABLE AND A GOOD ASSET THAN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE WORLD FOR A PARTNER.

6, IF YOU WON'T LIKE YOUR DAUGHTER TO BE LIKE HER, SHE IS NOT A GOOD PERSON TO BE THE MOTHER OF YOUR CHILDREN.

7, People's past matters a lot and we should always Judge people by their past.
The law judge people by their past (actions)
Your cv is your past to get jobs
Banks will judge you by your past before giving you the next loan...
Even God will judge us by our past at the end of life.
But for you here on earth, one cunny and mischievous girl will tell you not to judge her by her past after living a useless and wayward life and you'll think she has a point grin grin grin
Hahahahahaha they are coming for you... grin

But that was deep...hahahaha

CaveAdullam:
1. Talk is cheap, action is hard.

2. The majority of humans clamor for freedom. But the price of freedom and individual sovereignty is an expensive price to pay. This makes people settle for mediocre lives, mediocre jobs, and mediocre relationships.

3. Refusal to do the important things with joy when young will be done in shame when old.

4. Don't castigate what you don't understand. Because in few years you may become a partner with it.

5. Humans are altruistic as well as selfish. The side you find them on any day is dependent on their mood.

When situations are light, the altruistic side shines. When it becomes a matter of survival, which is the commonest mode, selfishness goes overboard.

6. If you don't have solid principles you'll be tossed to and fro by every wind that blows.

7. It becomes harder to remain focused and consistent as you age. Because your mind is scattered along many terrains.

8. Hard work is important. But to rise from top to bottom, you'll need a helping hand.

9. It takes one person to change your life for good. Hence, be vigilant with everyone you come across.

Don't squander time and interactions with good and powerful people.

10. Nothing goes for free in this life. If you have nothing of value to exchange nobody will treat you with respect.

11. Instead of begging someone for help, see how you can help them. In doing so, you protect your reputation and dignity. And nobody can shame you for working to earn.

12. Anything right and good your mind is prompting you to do now, do it. Don't postpone it. That's where your fulfillment lies.

13. Stay aloof from people who fail to reciprocate kind gestures.

Reciprocation doesn't need to be equal. At least they should be trusted enough to side with you when you are at the low.

14. If you want to see the burgeoning of good behavior, good deeds, and luminous character, reward people who effuse it.

15. Learn to think in 2, 3, 4... dimensions. Your first and best plan may fail. But having other strategies and options will help you when things become tough.

16. Don't depend on promises and favors. Without it, you'll survive. So, why then have you suspended your survival hoping for it?

17. Disappointment is part of life. You must be prepared and wait for it. This is not pessimism. It's just a little handbook of wisdom.

18. Never fail to express your love to people who love you. Your friends and families. Acting strange with them makes you less than lower animals.

19. Wolves are always in the raiment of sheep. Being a sheep draws them close as they arrive to feast on you. Being a wolverine yourself makes them fear you.

Occupy the paradox as an adult.
You ought to be a professor...."wow"

This is the problem most of we guys have, rather than date women with prospect that could open doors for us and be very supportive, you choose to date poor woman that would bring all her poor family issues for you to solve, why won't u be poor forever..
The little income u could save and invest or use to get some certifications, build your skills or even start a small scale business, you'll be spending all in your poor girlfriend, how would u ever succeed eh...
If you don't maximize your potential by associating with like minds or people far better than you, my dear you will never succeed.
guys go for your spec, don't let love deceive you, love is not everything... there's more to life.poverty sometimes is contagious.
If you have a leech as a girlfriend that's poor and jobless , you will hardly see opportunities. The world has changed

Your post is very useless, I swear.

I personally know more than 20 persons that have travelled out of this country.

All of them have achieved what they would never have achieved if they had spent the same number of years in Nigeria.

All of them are now more educated, healthy and achieved financial freedom to live the life of their dream e.g Build a house, start a business, fund their children's education, etc.

What is the hope of achieving all that in Nigeria where Nigerians slave away their life to earn minimum wage of less than $35 for a whole month... meanwhile their health suffers, security is not assured, Inflation killing, education poor, everything useless.

For the middle or lower class to make it in Nigeria, you need to either be extremely lucky, extremely corrupt or both because the system does not support or provide the environment for personal growth and development.

Ordinary constant electricity, Nigeria cannot guarantee it for her citizens 63 years after independence and you want them to remain in the country.

Then you foolishly talk about racism as if the tribalism in Nigeria is better than the racism overseas.

You're not in any position to advise people to stop seeking for greener pastures abroad because you don't know their pains and because you still have a silver spoon stuck in your mouth right from birth.

If you want to test yourself, give out all the money in your account to charity, burn your passports, burn your certificates, change your name legally and come start life all over in Nigeria by going to school or searching for a job.

If your eye no clear after 1 year of struggle I'll deactivate my account.

Again, in case you missed it, your post is very useless.
Infact you spew out my mind in a better Way...Nice one
Nairaland General › Re: Ugly Truth About Life by virginboy1(m): 6:00pm On Sep 10, 2023
CaveAdullam:
1. What you'll become in life is positively correlated with your family background and the surrounding environmental influences.

The possibility of breaking out from a vicious cycle of familial poverty is ultra-thin. There are high chances of dying poor when you are procreated from poor gametes.

2. Geography determines your destiny. The place where you spend most of your time is a factor that either helps you achieve your dreams or die a dreamer.

Poorer and undeveloped countries have the highest number of squandered talents and frustrated ambitious people. The only way these people can manage to succeed in the most reasonable ways is through:

A. Migration to a better geography.

B. Wrestling with ugly powers withholding change.

However, both are difficult.

3. People show sympathy out of pretense. Doing so makes them feel alright and not because they want to help you. When you seek their help, they degrade you.

4. You can't gain something from anyone when you lack something. Appeal to pity isn't a better strategy. People would rather help a rich man who loses some investment than a poor man struggling for breakfast.

Reason: People believe that in a short time, the rich will bounce back. But the poor man has no hope.

If you're poor, find anything to hold on to and leverage. But some do leverage vices though, which ends in trouble + it's a myopic strategy to success.

5. People don't value wisdom. The beautiful and charming fool is more appreciated than the sage. People only value wisdom when they are in dire need. But when they've convalesced, they are lured by glittering masks.

6. You're loved to the extent of how usable you are. The higher the attraction towards you is an indication of the volume of value you produce.

Ants go to sugar; moths to light bulbs; parasites to healthy hosts.

You're not loved. You're just a tool. A means to an end.

To solve this problem, start a relationship as a business and see if it will end in kindness. Except in conditions where the opposite end is starting with kindness.

7. You want favors. You want promises. Because they're shortcuts to your desires. Because they tend to make you want to work less. However, they're dangerous.

Unfulfilled promises and favors drain you more than making several trials and attempts. It blocks your ambitions and reduces your speed.

Don't make promises. Give at that moment when you can. Don't tell anyone tomorrow when you don't know if you'll see tomorrow. And don't take promises to heart.

8. Everyone you'll come across in life will tell you they have a high preference for truth. But what they are trying to say is "they have a high preference for statements, ideas or opinions that don't offend their ego". Tell them something that runs counter to their sentiments and they'll unleash hades on you.

The average person is either a con man or a liar. Probably, both.

9. Nobody is coming to help you. Don't think of any. On a deeper level, all humans need help.

You'll see help along the way. But start to walk alone.

10. Contentment is a hoax. You think you'll be satisfied if you have just one. And if you gain one, you want two to make you feel comfortable; three to have some in your reservoir; four to save for the future; five to help your loved ones; six to boost your ego; seven to make you become a ruler...it never ends.

Bonus: Gift is a form of power. Cunning people used it to bid time. They're coming to leverage that gift for a needed job. Make an exchange when necessary as it saves you from being a pawn on people's boards.

Thanks.

The Migration to other parts of life is one thing that is very difficult but it is the best way to get to your dreams.
The few people that had/will have the courage to move out of their zone MUST experience greatness.
I laugh at people telling me to be comfortable with less than 100k job, saying it's a life time job because these people don't know that very few top successful people abandoned millions paying job to start from nothing and rose to Everything.

If you want to become intellectually formidable, that your so called woke idiots will avoid you like plague, that nothing humans do will surprise or behaviourally strange to you, then you need to have an interest in philosophy.

Personally, I do not read conventional books, I read philosophical books. Philosophy is the foundation from which every other book arose. The Bible is really philosophical if you understand it.

I will recommend people like Frederick Nietzsche, just start with him. If you understood all his work, then everything other philosophers said will be like a photocopy.

If you read my post as far back as 2015, you will see clearly that I write and talked about RP even before it goes mainstream on Nairaland. Personally, I do not identify with tags, I am all for truth and to understand the hidden knowledge the world is bed rocked on, and trp is even an easier aspect of it.

If you want to go mad and realize that you are utterly stupid, then start studying philosophy, then you will not even be surprised and understand why humans do the things they do, and why even your politician does not give a shit about Nigeria lol.

From modern writers such as Robert Groene, Jordan Peterson, and more, you will consider their work amateur as a refined version of philosophy, because really, philosophy does make a man goes mad, especially if you go really deep the rabbit hole.

I wished there was a philosophical forum here on Nairaland, I have a lot to say but oh well, I will stick here. I remember when I would argue with my postmodernist professors in uni then, they hated my guts but respects the fact that I challenged them on their beliefs, making them look like an amateur.

And they dare not give me a lower mark, because I will call them out on it, and escalate shit if needed. Knowledge is power. With the help of philosophy, I could destroy all their arguments that were bed rocked on post-modernist icons such as Michel Foucault, Jean Baudrillard, and co. School these days is so far left, hence, the mayhem humans face.

So yes, study philosophy.
To me, You are an asset on this platform... I always enjoy reading your post here. Majority of it are agreeable
