We should let him go after creating a state under a state?
We are also warning Iran to stay out of our business or else.. They will face the unbearably consequences. Wait a minute, what crime did the shiite leader commit ? Ok. Madmathecian: The phone/PC you're using to type that rubbish would not have existed without Mathematics.
The cars, aeroplanes, jets, television and all the technology today would not have existed without Mathematics,
Even Number Theory is a branch of Pure Mathematics, but without it, online shoping/banking would not have been possible, I can go on and on but I don't have to, every intelligent person alive knows that Mathematics rules the world.
As for Engineers and Mathematicians, they can never be one, engineers works with the principles of applied Mathematics, Mathematicians are research scientists that works on rigorous proofs and theorems.
Most people don't even understand the concept of Engineering, if you want to develop laws and jet engines, then go and study Theoretical Physics(Physics and Mathematics), if you want to work with these laws and design jet engines, then go study Engineering.
In a nutshell, Mathematicians and Physicists develop tools and theorems and engineers apply it their area of work, that is the reason you'll never see Engineers working as research scientists. Thumbs up !!! You nailed it. |

He has always been pastor Chris' boy and a very close friend of Frank Edwards. Apart from being a drummer, he sings and dances well. If you want to see pastor Chris dance to traditional Xtian music, call bro Ike. He has always been dedicated. He deserves it. Well, pastor Chris is just pulling some stunts, perhaps to gain or maintain the trust of the tithe payers.

pheliciti: The writer must be insensitive to allege that 25k km was done by GEJ based on fabricated quotes. He should as a journalist be more investigative and list out the roads! If at all, none of the meagre successes of GEJ can justify the amount of theft and cluelessness of that govt. Please the writer should deal with that. Using subsidy removal as an example, the argument now is different from those of 4 yrs ago. Now, it is glaring that with the fall in oil prices, removal of subsidy would not hurt the populace. In the 2012 scenario, the argument was that removal would create money to fund infrastructure with the creation of SUREP. Please show us the infrastructure financed with the 50% removal (remember, subsidy was partly removed) other than private constructions by the subsidy thieves and their acolytes including Thisday journalists like the writer of the editorial. Don't also forget the manner of the removal; crude was selling at record high yet those that travelled to villages were left stranded as a result of sudden price changes. From your above quotes, it shows that you just hate Gej and you just don't want to be objective at all. It us absurd not to give credit for Gej's attempt to remove subsidy. Nigeria would have been better for it. I know Gej has his fault as the Op has stated. His analysis is very clear and objective. The writer knew what he is talking about. Fashola and Amaechi even agree that Gej did work. But people like you choose not to see it, |

Assslayer: I'm beginning to get more curious and furious about this , it has been going on for about four years now and people are not seeing anything wrong about it or i say his members are brainwashed to the highest order not to see anything wrong in this. Someone should please call this Christ Embassy church to order, every year they charge people coming to worship with them on the 31st night the sum 1000 naira as a gate fee. In the previous years they sell tickets before the show sorry i mean service, so all who wants to attend the 31st night service must come with their tickets to enter the church auditorium .
But this year they decided to craft another means of collecting this 1000 naira, they made it compulsory for each attendees to purchase an electronic gate pass for 1000naira. My question is , are they going to dance to the melody of a superstar singer or dance to sound of a superstar DJ ? Even the huge yearly program The Experience is free, someone should please call this Loveworld ministry aka Christ Embassy to order, reaping off our gullible citizens. It's the people that will pay you should blame. Pastors have been making merchandise of members since the days of Paul the Apostle. |

BlackPeni5: I admire the president's honesty...He didn't try to sugar coat anything.
But the down side is that, he sounded clueless about many issues. He would need to ask the CBN Governor, He may have missed the programme which exposed his Ministers' involvement in corruption, etc.
The chat also showed that with enough pressure, Buhari can bend (which is evidence that he doesn't have a clear objective) as it relates to his agreement to ban Hijab when pressed by the journalists.
Buhari is a good man, but the Dictator is still strong within him as he doesn't respect the Judiciary. He even made the police look inferior by saying "How can the Police investigate the military when it should be the other way around".
We are in for rough times ahead. You said it all. But some zombies can never give a honest criticism. So sad. |
Politics › Re: People Like Nnamdi Kanu And Sambo Dasuki Do Not Deserve Bail – Buhari by vislabraye(m): 10:05am On Dec 31, 2015 |
SignalNG1: President Muhammdu Buhari on Wednesday declared that people like the former National Security Adviser under ex-President Jonathan, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd) do not deserve bail.
Buhari was reacting to a question from Premium Times journalist Ibanga Isine during his first presidential media chat on Wednesday in Abuja. Isine was bringing the President's attention to rising criticisms against his government for alleged violation of judicial processes, the rule of law and court orders as seen in the cases of the former DG of the State Security Services (SSS), Mr. Kayode Are, detained Biafra activist, Nnamdi Kanu and the former NSA Sambo Dasuki.
In his reaction, Buhari, fighting to conceal his anger noted that people like Sambo Dasuki and Nnamdi Kanu do not deserve bail because of the weight of atrocities they have committed.
"If you see the kind of atrocities people like Dasuki committed you won't give them bail. A former President told Dasuki to collect N40 billion. N40 billion. And you want to give him bail to go and see his doctor in London? Do you know that Nnamdi Kanu has two passports and he came into the country without using any? Do you know that Nnamdi Kanu brought a sophisticated equipment into the country for Radio Biafra? What kind of government do you people want?" the President fumed.

ladenz: Nawa o. I couldn't watch the Media chat and I came here to get an idea of how it went. However almost everybody seems to be judging based on emotions and previously held opinions. Where is the objectivity
What I can deduce from the thread ( I didn't read everything) is that Buhari gave clear and intelligent answers on some issues but didn't seem to have enough background knowledge to answer other questions. He also wasn't able to express himself with finesse like other world leaders.
Can someone who is neutral please confirm if I am right You will have to listen to him speak to draw your full conclusion ie first hand experience and not hearsay. But I'll tell you the little I gathered. The interviewer asked him about the limitation placed on the dollars that have made many people stranded. Buhari said it will remin like that. He further went on to say how he intends to build industry, fight insurgency etc. On asking if he plans to devalue the Naira. He said no, which was a good response. He later went on to say, " how am I expected to devalue the Naira against the dollars, or against the pounds or Francs ? On the issue of Igbo being marginalized, he said and the rise of Ipob. He said, "I don't know what this people want." He further went on to say minister of petroleum resources is Igbo, minister of Science and Technology and CBN governor are all Igbos. |
Politics › Re: How Would You Rate PMB On His Maiden Media Chat? by vislabraye(m): 1:15am On Dec 31, 2015 |
Inspectahdeck: He was spot on with his answer about devaluing the Naira. A country devalve it's currency against a booming industry either manufacturing or power etc. For trading/importation like the president stated, do you want him to devalue the Naira against another country's currency. He also gave example with developed countries and how they devalue their currency against industries.
On the dollar limitations he stated that Nigeria has no dollar in the market. That is our reality so let's face it and improve our economy locally and forget about importing toothpick, rice etc. I'm not saying he should devalue our currency. What I'm saying is the way he puts it. It shows that he doesn't have a grasp of of the economy. Nigeria does not have dollars in the market because of the artificial limitations he put on it. He did this to punish politicians but he's punishibg Nigerians. Before taking certain actions, he should look at the pros and cons. You wouldn't find ut funny if you have to travel abroad for either school and health care and your bank refuses to release your money. |
