While I recover here in the emergency room from all the vigorous flogging I have experienced at the hands of esteemed Nairaland contributors today, let me just add that it is highly unusual for a jobless and hungry person to be spotted jogging in Nigeria. Matter of fact, the sight of poor people suddenly breaking into a run on the streets of any African metropolis, is a reliable early-warning signal that something violent is in progress nearby, which may require some urgent and spirited scampering "for dear life" to safety.

Conversely, the odds are very high that well over half of all the daily joggers who take to Nigerian roads, particularly in known WEALTHY enclaves, are likely to be moderately to very wealthy, or at least living well on a comfortable income that makes doctor's visits for health and exercise advice, affordable.

A topic search of the Nairaland archives, on the subject of joggers who fell victim to crime, makes for a sobering read. Many joggers have been injured during muggings, some have been killed, and a few, never seen again. The truth is that women are at particular risk in much of Africa and Asia, if they engage in jogging along public roads, because they are not as well protected by the police, as is the case in Western societies where morning jogs are a daily routine for large numbers of people from all walks of life.

The risk to the jogger multiplies, when they conspicuously carry along expensive phones, and wear ear-plugs that render them partially deaf. By going out on the street to jog, Nigeria's vanishing middle class comes face-to-face with her starving majority, out of pure choice on the part of the jogger.

Pushing one's luck in this context may be an acceptable risk for a hardened Gong-Fu practitioner or an armed off-duty military man, but for anyone less street-qualified who opts to go jogging, my advice would be that you wait until you are in the UK, to enjoy that luxury in the relative safety of Hyde Park, a world away from Lagos, Nigeria

Anyone seeking to improve their health can do so with ZERO equipment at home, by running in place on a sandy surface or foam mattress, followed by Yoga and other strength exercises. Medically, jogging on hard surfaces inflicts long-term damage to the joints of the knee and ankles, thus negating much of the purported health benefits of jogging on city streets.
I won't forgive you if u make me laugh till I break my ribs.I was taking breakfasts while reading your comical post and u need to see how it spilled out of my mouth.....u funny too much guy grin

Religion / Re: Winners Chapel Plants 3000 Rural Churches by wanger50(m): 6:49am On Jul 27, 2019
D1zion:
Is it by increasing the number of branches or increasing God's faithful how many members do you earnestly preached to for the kingdom of God, how many people in all the branches are serving God in spirit & in truth, how many people are conscious that we are in end time, rather than every other person going there thinks of nothing but prosperity.

With all the wealth the church has how many lives,I mean poor lives have you changed for the better, how many average Nigeria can afford to study in covenant. Or landmark university, how many people in that organization can afford to take their children to living faith nursery & primary SCH?

I know the teaching of prosperity is good, but let it not superceeds the teaching of salvation & end time.As we're at bonus time.why can't the people be told the truth, how do you preach to people & you don't care the mode of dressing, you don't care if the enter the church naked, when I see the way some Christian girls & women dressed to living faith church even some men.my heart bleeds, I cry inside my heart.
It is not by building branches, TB Joshua has just one here in Nigeria, yet he has done more than what most of you that called him demonic, satanic, Lucifer has never done & will never do because you're busy thinking about how to be called the richest, the fastest growing, the one with most congregation, the one with the biggest auditorium, your bank account, how many private jet.how much you're worth.

Why why why.why can't the truth be preached instead? I know of a preacher who said he'll never hide the truth to people because we're at the perilous time that everyone needs to hear & know the truth then decides for he or herself, that he doesn't care even if its one person that comes to worship in spirit & in truth because he's not after the wealth on earth but the one in heaven because he was called mainly for that.being a Muslim born into wealth, bath in wealth sleep in it,eat it,drinks it.yet he left all that.& is still a very powerful child of God who's heart bleeds whenever he climbs the podium to preach because of how the Christian, the children of God,the men & women with the children of God behaves.this is the person of K.K DAGAYA.

Our men & women of must wake up cos there's little or no time to tell everyone the truth. This is the end & salvation should be the other of the day not just prosperity mostly that people tend to forget about end time but focused on mostly making money, how to get rich only. Most of our men & women of God will not make heaven for hiding the truth to their follower's.
Thank you for telling us this truth.I believe you are inspired of God which explains why you could take time to make it this long.Unfortunately in this end time, the devil has taken control of people's hearts and minds such that sermons such as yours do not interest or excite many. But do not worry much,at the fullness of time the Bible tells us Jehovah will intervene to select his own for salvation. These mega churches here and there are not of God but are part of the satanic systems on this earth designed to confuse people. The Bible is clear that towards the end of time, the devil himself will take control of the Church, parading as the angel of light

I used to be that way when I was in teenage and early twenties..

It's like that because your mind is set to explore different variety of girls of which most of them aren't really your type of girl..

That your exploration mind will go to rest and let your head handle the kind of girl you will be drawn to when you are close to thirty or early thirties..

So chill it's just your subconscious mind telling you you aren't ready yet for a relationship..

It's not always like that for everyone though..
You are just very correct Sir.I use to suffer from that same issue OP complained about till my mid thirties.... people like you makes nairaland thick

Another display of spiritual ignorance by freeze or fridge . Your enemy is not your neighbour or colleagues but spiritual forces.Your enemy is not your troublesome neighbour but spiritual entities . we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers .Do principalities spend money for you to lend them ? When you say enemy dies it means forces working against you should stop functioning ,it means the spirit should not operate in your life anymore . Spiritual understanding is different from social media view .Unfortunate for him the man he is trying to pinch does not have time for spiritual jamboree
"Anybody standing against me, fall down and die".....a popular MFM song. The "Anybody" there is obviously not referring to spirits but humans. This certainly doesn't support your claim here

Pretty simple. A woman's SMV(Sexual Market Value) reaches its peak at around 28-30. From this point onwards, her physical features begin to wane and she more or less becomes a shadow of her former self, thereby increasing her reliance on artificial endowments (makeup, surgery, etc) just to make her feel as beautiful and confident as she used to. Meanwhile, a man's SMV hits at around 38-40. Apart from the likelihood of having more money at that age, thereby providing more security, this is one of the major reasons why so many girls in their early twenties say they prefer older men. Of course there're exceptions to every rule but this particular situation has occured so many times and keeps on occurring that it's now more or less a norm. Nature designed it this way, hence the popular saying 'Men age like fine wine but women like milk'.

If we're to compare the number of extra marital suitors both parties in question currently have,I'm extremely certain the man has more in number than the woman does. In other words, assuming both of them weren't currently married to their respective spouses, the man would have more options to pick from than the woman would.
Correct!.... at age 39,I can strongly relate

In the first place, why would he accept to serve in a government he has always fiercely criticised? It's immoral in the first place. In saner climes people even resigns from a government once it's going against what they think is right

I was watching a JAMB TV program as per university's compliance with federal character principle few months ago. By far the worst was Nnamdi Azikiwe University with ALL her students coming from the south east while ABU was the most compliant drawing from ALL States of the country, followed by Unilag. The second worst culprit was FUT Owerri.Gradually we are knowing who is cheating who in Nigeria

I'm a Christian and long term critic of Pentecostal churches due largely to their flamboyance, especially on the part of "GO's". I however have a strong ally in the person of TB Joshua who can be seen every Sunday distributing one form of benefit or the other to the underprivileged. This is Christianity!
