2. If it is not hard copy, what will it be? Na hard/strong copy sire.
3. No you don't; once your documents are in English language.

I heard fidelity and Union are good but Union's charges are a bit on the high side. I just paid my semester fee today @ UBA, I'll inform u on the rates and charges once I get debited.

please Nairalanders, what is the difference between booking a visa appointment and filing a visa application? I am asking because prior to requesting about how to create a block account here on Nairaland, i mailed the embasssy to tell them about the problems i was encountering in the course of my inquiries.They offered to set up a support letter for prospective Nigerian students who might encounter the same problem. They demanded for a 5digit application number and my passport number. I emailed back to tell them i didnt understand what they meant by application number,however, i sent my passport number. Just now,i got a mail telling me that they cant help me (I DONT NEED THE HELP ANYMORE NOW COS I AM BETTER INFORMED FROM HERE ABOUT THE BLOCK ACCOUNT)because i have not filed for an application. I am a little confused. Does this mean i didnt really book for an appointment? Secondly,my name was not spelt right in the visa appointment e-mail.I hope that isnt a problem too.

If you were in Lagos, sterling at Daleko could have been your best option. The bank is as small as a Bureau de Change shop but the woman in charge of operations there knows her onions when it comes to to form A thing. Just submit the documents as described in one of my last posts, follow it up with constant calls and watch the transactions sail through like a Ferrari on an Autobahn. I can't say the same of other branches in other or even Lagos here.
Their charges approximately sum up to 10k and and as at yesterday euro was 222.5 on Google but they charged 226.27 I think. Fair enough if you ask me going by the high rates I have been hearing from other banks.
The bidding thing is true but I don't think it really affects the speed of the transactions as it sounds, at least for this bank.

How were you able to convince them to accept your statement of result /success letter in lieu of the degree certificate?

Good evening house and my fellow 3rd of August account openers. Just spoke with my contact in Germany. He said he went to the bank to find out what the problem is and they took my name to check if there is any record and they found none. They suggested that the embassy have not sent the docs and advised i should go to the lagos embassy to find out why the applications and docs have not been sent. That as far as they are concerned, there is no record of my name in their end. Which way forward abeg? our elders in the house @eke and all. Thanks

but I get confused when I was reading up lang requirement for my course,cos what was tated there was that toefl,ielt is required for country that there native lang was not english.but since our official lang here is english..will getting a proficiency letter frm my school suffice or I nid to take the toelf exam?

Eventhough my transaction was successful last week but i can tell u dat Form A matter is really getting serious... My account was debited two weeks b4 dey could perform the transactions... My student accommodatn was almost canceled but for d course director who contacted d student union on my behalf,my deadline was extended thrice... In all it took four weeks at Gtbank headquarters... NOTE all documents complete...

It may still be cheaper to buy here than over there. I once visited an open market in Rotterdam to buy a used winter jacket but couldn't buy because the least price was 50Euro (N10,200).

Is it not better to pay more for extra luggages than buying winter clothes at exorbitant prices over there. I would rather buy enough and sell it to guys over there sef. Hustle don start be that.

I don't know why some ppl here tend to pick up on posts and read their own meanings into it without carefully analysing and understanding the intent of the person's post. Its obvious here that his statement is not affirmative, it's just a possibility and I don't see that as an insult or disrespect in anyway because what he stated can be a possible cause of rejection. Let's just stop this attacking behavior and try to get the true message of a post instead of raising issues pls. Motivation letters and cgpas might not be good enough just as we have strong ones so it's just a speculation and his own view with no intent to accord any disrespect according to the post. One luv

bro u didn't miss them becos of toefl/ielts u prolly mite have missed it becos of cgpa or lack of good motivational letter.I didn't apply with toefl/ielts and I waz admitted in2 3 schools including the almighty uni frieburg.a letter of proficiency from ur university department is all u need.

When I dropped some lines last week, regarding Arabs and security, someone here quickly called me names. I'll continue to say that Arabs are highly dangerous! And this is in no way about religion but about the Arabs! Yeah, I was born a Muslim (now a Christian) and my dad till this day, remains an Islamic scholar. I see some people are already taking swipes at others for sharing their opinions and fears, to you lot I say - Nobody holy pass!

Just this week alone, there's been reports of Syrian refugees rioting in a German city, injuring scores of policemen and civilians (Germans & Foreigners). The said Syrian refugees also destroyed properties ranging from: Cars, Houses and what not; during the riot.

In another report this week, a group of Arab refugees now living legally in Germany, have started posting pro-terror pictures on facebook with a view of raising awareness of a terror group's presence in Germany, in order to unite old members and as well recruit new members.

Arab refugees are also in the news this week for posting several extremist comments on social media platforms about how they are already taking over Europe, and directing racists comments to the same Europeans who have welcomed them to their abode. There's also a report about the apprehension of a terrorist recruiter who tried to gain entry into Germany under the guise of being a refugee. One simply can't overlook the thought of many of his kind, slipping through, unnoticed.

This is only early days and some totally extreme events already unfolded, and realistically so, more will follow! And to those saying we're all the same; whether student or asylum seeker - Please, I'm sure we all know that student and refugee are two very different categories. Free tuition doesn't translate to asylum seeker, please! And in fact, some of us are paying heavily, I mean HEAVY tuition fees for our studies in Germany. Moreover, I believe many some Nairaladers are only worried because the asylum seekers are Arabs, and their record speaks for itself!

Personally, I was attracted to Germany for its numerous job opportunities after my MBA, security and high standard of living. Now, a number of uncertainties becloud my German dream but I find solace in the popular saying "Que Sera Sera", and I hope those reading this, who like me also have their fears/concerns, do too.

Heheheh..this is E-crying. Our cries here on NL will never get to Angela Merkel or her political party. The lovely people of Munich (whom I will soon be joining ) are actively welcoming the refugees. It is however pleasing to me to see how we on NL differ and present our points on the issue. For me it creates an avenue to learn.
