This thread is actually filled with information and I owe it alot of gratitude. sometimes jus type your question on google and If well constructed will direct you to the pages where the issues are discussed and u prolly find your answers there and by that u are reducing the pages by already answered question
But I have a question which I haven't being able to find and answer to, Aside from the Nigerian Embassy in berlin Ofcourse, where or who else can Certify or aunthenticate a Nigerian Document (Results and other Credentials) in Germany? All the guys already in Germany, ur input will be highly appreciated.

wasn't realy the bank's fault
the accepted to do the transfer but called me the next day to say DAT CBN rejected the transaction due to the fact that I was both the applicant and beneficiary of the fund
xo pls,which bank did u do ur own?
where in Lagos?
and how long did it take?

I'm only concern about [/b] (NOUN may be an exception because I don't see the school as a real school) without Jamb in Nigeria [/b] As per the issue under discuss, I have always be hearing about Jamb result and not Jamb certificate. I have never heard of that before. Jamb dont issue certificate like Waec/Neco

After writing JAMB when the result is out, they will send you a JAMB Result showing the breakdown of your score and if you use it for admission, the university will request a copy of your result from JAMB office and your school can give you the copy.
It's University Entrance Examination which all countries have theirs.

Original certificate dt contains the breakdown of your results. My uni requested for it as part of the documents for my Bsc program enrollment. Its usually gotten at the jamb office

JAMB gives certificate and that is what you are asked for because WAEC, NECO, GCE or whatever can not give you direct admission into a universities (NOUN may be an exception because I don't see the school as a real school) without Jamb in Nigeria.

I have so many challenges understanding some things about the application documents required for admission into the German universities (ulm university to be precise). The school said I'll have to register through uni assist of which I have started. But I am stuck at the uploading of documents stage (on the uni assist application site) because I don't understand the following:
1. How do I upload my letters of recommendation from my lecturers or employers. Do I collect the letter from them and upload myself through the site?
2. Do I go to back to my school to request for my transcript sent to uni assist or do I upload and send the student copy I already have?
3. Can I get the photocopies of my certificate, waec statement of result authenticated at the high Court?

To God be all glory, honor & adoration this morning the a.m. mail dropped to come pickup visa. I had my interview since 1st September, 2015 but funded my account in December since resumption is January 6th and partly due to delay in getting my blocked account details. When I called the Alien office in December about my visa I was told that the embassy had sent my documents but recommended rejection because they presumed that my resumption was October! (i couldn't Imagine where they got that from)!!

To cut the short story long the embassy became blank to every emails sent to clarify the date issues both by my school & myself, school resumed Tuesday and it's quite overwhelming still being around even though last date of resumption was sent to them!

Many thanks to great friends & all contributors here like williams, eke40sev, rayhu, obiw, olaoch e.t.c. (pardon me if your name isn't mention & yes I can't forget dolpaz, the guy that first attacked me 2yrs ago when I just got on this forum )

To all still waiting or preparing for interview, just trust in God's grace & He will see you through!

The level of phonological interference in your use of English is alarming. You repeatedly used "his" in place of "is", I could not bear that one. If you continue like this, Nigeria will completely be regarded as a non english speaking country. TOEfl and ielts go dey fat on top d austerity measures wey we country dey.
Let's just agree that you were trying to be comical, like the last sentence above.
Go to high court in Abuja or the German Embassy. Know that the German Embassy will charge a fee. High court in Enugu charge 30 naira per page. I don't know how much Abuja court will charge, you know every thing in abuja is Expensive, so budget 50-100 per page.
For authentication and/or Legalisation, I advise you use the dictionary first, when that fails, I will write you an essay on the duo.
Please I have dropped this piece of advice with all humility and no disrespect, but in love and protection of our common integrity as members of an English speaking country.
A lot of us can pay to learn German, but not willing to make any extra effort to have mastery of English language. After secondary school, english language is stale news.
Me I dey find centre wey dey teach english, I wan unlearn, learn and relearn. I wan speak pass Baba wole soyinka.lol
But german dream ehnnnnn....

All these arguments abt language is just funny and unnecesarry. Someone even claimed some letters come in english and i just laffed.

I av bin in germany 1yr 2months now and i av neva recieved a letter in english not once not ever. Even frankfurt messe that is an international company and wia i dont need german to do d job cus i dont get to speak during work hours still stoped me from working cus of german. The only place d train annouces in english is frankfurt stadium, frankfurt airport, frankfurt main station and d european central bank despite frankfurt bin an international city.

Im now taking german classes a1.1 and dat level alone cost me 350€

So we should stop saying surviving without d language is easy. Even police will chance u to support dia citizen who speaks to dem in german cus dey know u dont get wat is bin said.

As regards learning of German, is/are their any textbook(s) or site(s) one can buy or visit for self-studying? Even if this mode of studying would limit me to level B2 proficiency for now, I wouldn't mind. I am asking because the nature of my job may not allow me to enroll at the Goethe Institute before the commencement of my programme come Winter 2016.

A while ago someone came on this forum to say he arrived Germany and in his city everyone speaks English. That its a so called international city. That he has offers everywhere.
I met this same guy here and he told me privately that he is now paying a lot of money to learn the language that Life is hard without it. Employees dump him because he cant speak Deutsch and take others over him. He cant just get by. But he came on nairaland to say the opposite. I say things the way they are. No apologies.
BTW i hope you know Eke47 lives in Munchen and he still came here to advice on learning the Language.

Some parts you say its good to learn and some parts you disagree. Whats your point exactly? Fyi my first city in Germany was Hamburg. Thats the problem with people they paint this hory dorry stories of abroad. This is not my experience alone but the experience of anyone coming to a country whose language is differrent from the one you speak. Even if its a holiday you are going for anywhere in the world, you gotta learn the basics of the Language.
