Sincerely Bros I can't say for now. grin Getting A2 within that four months wasn't a child's play.
But I believe nothing is impossible.
My point exactly. While "anything is possible", probability of that happening is in single digit percentages.

kayluxneedsu, just found out you're going for informatik (Computer Science). There are tons of English programs in it naa. Why did you choose Germanhuh
TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Williamso(m): 12:20am On Aug 31, 2015
kayluxneedsu:
Well, mistake made...

Pleas house, what are your suggestions and the way forward?
Not necessarily a mistake made. But if I were in your shoes;
I would request for a refund from the language school (if it's possible), register at Goethe, and fire as many applications as possible for English programs. The time spent at Goethe can also be used to source for funds that my 500k can augment to a large extent (that's more than 25% of the blocked fund shocked). And when I get admission to an English program, the German learnt will be for everyday communication, not for lectures (trust me, there is a difference). And since the admission at hand won't kick in till next year, I'm more or less "safe".................................

But that's just my opinion.
TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Williamso(m): 12:03am On Aug 31, 2015
kayluxneedsu:
I understand you perfectly brother, my plan is not to just arrange a sponsor and then start huzzling in germany.... As a matter of fact, I paid almost half a million for the language class and paid for my hostel, I just don't have up to 8k euro to open the blocked account... Am not going there to become a tyrant, am going there to study... Looked for loans also buh the interest rate are killing..... So I just need someone to pose as my sponsor while I sort myself and start my life with what I have or get a loan to open the said blocked account and then return with viable interest rate... No issues
I think I lean towards lmuhopeful here. You have to think a lot of things through before you embark on this journey. Even if your plan works, imagine what that 500k would have done for you with regards to settling down. Besides, I met someone at the consulate once whom, after paying for the course and blocked account, still got rejected on the grounds that he can learn it at goethe (obiwann can testify to this). I'm not saying you will get rejected I'm just trained to think along the lines of probability and hence I don't necessarily believe in miracles, which brings me to the language itself. Can you learn a new language from scratch to B2 in 8 months? Simply put, if you were to write the IELTS equivalent of German in 8 months, will you score up to 6.0??
Access yourself and think this true.

But anything is possible..... Peace

Cc GottSeiDank
I must say I'm impressed that you got A2 in Nigeria in just 4 months. I believe you know the amount of work you put in. Do you believe you can get to B2 in another 4 months?
TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Williamso(m): 11:01pm On Aug 30, 2015
kayluxneedsu:
I agree with you suggesting learning Germany in Nigeria but you know its gonna take more time cos of the unavailability of people to speak it with after class. However, its still viable but its still back to square one:

Upon been certified in B2 by Goethe, I still need the 8k euro or a sponsor which is what am looking for now. Moreson, the language course is for 8months and not 6months.
I seriously doubt you can get to B2 from scratch in 8 months. Heck, even a year will likely not be enough; but anything is possible.

If you have a sponsor to sponsor you then fine, but if your plan is to just arrange a sponsorship letter and "survive" when you get to Germany, then my brother you will definitely not like the outcome...

Please, what are the advantages of IELTS over TOEFL?
When I was looking for schools to apply, I came across some schools that insisted on only IELTS (they did not accept TOEFL) but I never came across a school that insisted on only TOEFL.

I suggest that you translate the letter and certify it..perhaps at a high court (inquire about this) aor the embassy (but in this case you may have to translate at Goethe Institute ) and take both to the bank. This should work.
Thanks!

upload it here and maybe i can help in translating.
Remember to blur your personal info.

Most German admission letters are in German, only few come with a translated version. There is an exception to this rule.
The translation is not the problem. I want to know if banks can use a non-english admission letter to process form A

The issue is not whether or how connected the programs are - you and your school believe it's connected - but how you can explain the connection to the consulate/foreigners' authority. As Eke has said, his BSc program and his intended MSc programs are contrasting, but his ability to link both programs gave him the advantage. You just have to find a way link both either in your interview, visa motivation letter or both.

I still need a filled visa application form,to recheck mine and see if there is any error, there is somewhere I was asked for means of sustenance what should I put, should I put with my db block Acct or through my personal savings ooo,
If your personal savings will cover the 2yrs, then put it (then it will make more sense to fund your account with about 15k). But I seriously doubt that had to do with your rejection.

Like has been said, we get interviewed here in Nigeria and if you were applying from here, you'd almost definitely have been asked for the relationship between your previous program and your intended program. Since there's something like a "visa motivation letter" over there, I believe this is where you ought to try your best to convincingly link both programs or at least, link your present job to your intended program.

Good luck.

If you still need a filled application form, go thru Eke40seven's posts. He had uploaded a copy some weeks back.

For me, I think it's quite clear.

MSc in Life Science Economics and Policy does not follow BSc (ED) in Agricultural Production and Renewable Resources.

It's like studying Mechanical Engineering as an undergraduate and then going on to study Industrial Chemistry as a postgraduate.

Pretty suspicious.
I guess he did a poor job linking the two during his interview. I have seen people get visas for more contrasting studies from their first degrees than this.

I don't speak German shaa, but according to google translate:
"There is sufficient evidence to serious doubts that you actually follow the specified purpose"
I believe they're just in doubt to your main purpose of travelling. Just do justice to that in your next interview and you should be fine.

You need a link to daad website? daad.de
If you have checked the daad site and don't see what you're looking for, could it be that it doesn't exist? (as far as daad is concerned)?
If daad fails you, use Google, if Google fails you, check schools' website one-by-one. If that fails you, accept your fate.

My opinion: demlarbenz is a free-spirited lady, a sanguine to the core who is always willing to go out of her way to help. She freely talks about her personal experiences, no holds-bar. She bumped into this thread and ever thence has been committed to helping her countrymen reach their goal(where she already is). She has nothing to gain from this thread, but most of us have.
As a sanguine she talks freely of her experience, but unfortunately some people will think its boasting or inferiority complex, like crown thinks.
