Dupeodus: Capital Gains Tax is in the Nigerian Tax Laws. Every nation in the world taxes capital gains. Nigeria has the lowest tax receipts as a percentage of gdp even among West African countries by a very wide margin. We want government services but do not want to pay taxes. Would the money come from the air? We cannot continue to use the excuse of corruption to resist taxes. We run generators to run laptop to trade... Cost of fuel per litre is on the rise..... Cost of Electricity is on the rise even when it is available... We are paying for high rate of data to connect to brokers... Stockbrokers commission on the increase.... Stamp Duties was recently increased.... Unemployment rate at 27% which we know its understated... Inflation rate is at 12.88% Let them continue with their CGT on our tasere stocks.... Most of us are gradually moving our portfolio to abroad... Their brain will reset when they see... low patronage of Nigerian Stocks... Presidency dont know we have alternatives. Very lazy set of leaders |

Hausas are quite known for terrorism and banditry and moreso the centre of illiteracy We are educated and yet... still depend on The Northern illiterates to feed us.... We read the whole book in the world. And yet cant move together to rule Nigeria... And yet it is the same Northern illiterate... that takes power each 4 years..... Go to Abuja and see the way Mallams.. Had taken over all the juicy positions... Go to the North and See the level of road infrastructure... And compare the pot hole ridden and death trap road network In the South.. I hope the South can use their high literacy level to improve the life of their people... Fow now it is still a mirage. |

EmmySparky: Bro I know someone who lives solely off Forex trading in USA...she is a very good trader...she has a strategy...that helps her earn daily...even her kids are now into it...lil kids that are between 12- 18...and who says these coys u mentioned don't also invest in crypto currency and other binary markets...the money u put in the banks are used for their personal investments...and crypto currency and forex are some of em...the best of traders record loses though but you wins should far outweigh your loses...some days they make super huge profits too...so pls dont rule our forex as a scam or wrong investment...it's for those who are thick minded and can take risks...cos the market is very volatile...this is why in the uk and in most parts of the world I know of there are no taxes attached to it...it is categorised under gambling... Investigate the person properly. There are other sources of income... She did not disclose to you... Even top asset managers that employ CFAs.. And top quantitative whizkids... Dont guarantee returns.... Am not ruling out Forex trading as a source of income For disciplined traders... Am only against the way it is been advertised and abused in Naija With guaranteed ROI |

sammhi: What you wrote makes a lot of sense But you mistaken one aspect : You expect that MBA would only use investors money to trade forex only ..No financial institution will only trade forex or one deal on 9n trade. Banks use your deposit to trade forex , loans, buy shares , buy bonds , etc With amount of money MBA has , it won't get involved in jsut forex, they may have diversity into other businesses ...It same all over Dangote has sugar, cement , etc But started with just one .... It is wrong to compare MBA Forex with Financial Institution.. MBA Forex is a private coy.... while Banks are regulated by CBN.. There are restrictions on what banks can do.... Dangote is quoted on the Stock Exchange... There are requirements for you to be listed...... Who regulates MBA Forex.... How do you know what they are using investors money for... |

dairykidd: Oga forget ur talk. We live in a digital world now and digital tools, smart devices and modern technology is to make life and communication more fluent and enhance living. We can't be on analogue in a digital world thereby making life unbearable. Imagine an 85 yr old senior citizen struggling in a queue for hours. Its not just about NIN it cuts across all other govt organizations. Sometimes i wonder why people even acquire education when u can't apply it to solve everyday issues. Fvcking shame. Sharing database to generate NIN online anywhere is safer, easier, faster and in line with technological advancement. We invited NIMC officials to my community To capture those that are old and cant afford to go to the centre... We are educated in the south... And yet lack simple discipline... |
Politics › Re: NIMC Shuts Lagos Office To NiN Registrants by Willie2015: 6:02pm On Dec 21, 2020 |
jmoore: Your experience can't be used as a case study. Majority of Nigerians didn't get theirs under 10 mins.
2019, when I went to collect my permanent voters card. I saw many Nigerians registering for their NIN.
Do you know some NIMC staff demand for money before registration?
BTW, I have never heard of government ordering us to have our numbers linked with NIN until this month. It's ridiculous to come up with a new policy and demand it should be implemented within 2 weeks. The reason is becos... Majority of Nigerians always wait for a deadline..... The registration came so easy that.... Folks in my community.... invite officials to visit the area for registration .... on a weekend..... To capture citizens...... that cant afford transportation fare to NIMC office.... |

jmoore: Fools in power!!
The biggest fools in the universe are in Nigeria occupying political offices.
BVN Voters card International passport Driving license
Common sense can't tell them to share database so it can easy for one to generate NIN online without going to the office. I did my NIN reg... under 10min after lockdown... Collect the soft copy and hard copy... For my records... D inevitable thruth is dat... Nigerians only respond to deadline... Give them 2 years extension... They wont still register! |

Ayotemide: Lol. If you think that all these men of God feed on is your tithes and offerings, you must be unaware of the true riches of heaven. I don't need you to believe this. Many of you go through Nigeria struggling and can never make sense of being blessed without many hustles. That's ok. But i am with him. I pay my tithe to the ministry and have kingdom advancement projects on my mind at all times. I will never need to beg or make sense of how I am blessed. That is what I want until Christ comes. You need to change your orientation..... Christ did not tell you to pay tighte.. Christ simply tells you .... Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.Bill Gate and Warren Buffet dont pay tight and offering.... And yet they have given to humanity than... any Pastor in Nigeria...... including Bishop Oyedepo.... |
