Sadly I'm the one that has read so much books in correcting so many things in my life like I'm the most problematic person in the world. It's like I'm not born with everything other people were born with. All hermetic storage bags can be used for at least 2 years if the sack is not torn. The pics bag can be compromised if it's attached by rodents.

There are other storage bags like the zerofly bags which is rodent and insect proof. Rats can't bite it and pests are killed on contact with the bags. The pics bags kills insects inside it but it doesn't kill outside while the zerofly kills outside and may not kill inside if the insects don't touch the sides of the bags.

The only option is to use Aluminum Phosphide before storing if using the zerofly bags or spray the store room with a lasting insecticide before storing grains in the pics bag.
