What do you mean no federal allocation? Obasanjo only suspended local government allocations for about 2 years due to the disagreement over creation of local governments by Lagos State Government. Tinubu went borrowing from banks. Yaradua released the backlog of allocations to Fashola immediately he came in.

Re-read what I wrote. I never said the President (Republican or Democrat) in US cannot be challenged or that a prime minister cannot be challenged. What I said was that he cannot be challenged by members of his own party as the party leader. It is either they have enough members to pass a vote of no confidence (or impeach the president) or the party member resigns.

Please name republicans that challenged Trump during his presidency. Yes I know liz Cheney and very few other voted to condemn trump during the Jan 6 insurgency, but that was a few days before leaving office.

Tinubu did not say anything that was wrong against Buhari nor against Gov. Abiodun, the only thing he failed to do because of poor managers around him was not being able to say that these 2 Individuals that he helped to power were high performers. He was able to get them to power because he was astute enough to help in their selection and eventual ascension to power. Gov Abiodun is a performer in Ogun state and the alternative will have been bad for the people of Ogun state but Asiwaju was able to help the people of Ogun state to make the right choice( that was what he needs to be talking about). Can anyone point to a person helped by Tinubu to power that has been swallowed by scandal or corruption. Tinubu need to sell himself as someone who has eyes for Talent and has helped those people to get to power and helped their people.
Asiwaju and the rest of the party allowed Buhari to have absolute control of the party for too long and this is what they have to deal with. The greatest mistake that he made was not serving in this government( he should have been in charge of a Ministry and do a good job or being the chairman of the party( as soon as he was not made the VP in 2015- he should have assumed the position of the party chairman instead of the powerless and irrelevant position of National Party Leader.

It was Amaechi that brought them together. Tinubu never supported nor liked Buhari. Amaechi as governor of rivers state had to fly to lagos - Bourdillon Road to prostrate for tinubu to support Buhari. Tinubu was almost supporting Jonathan again.

Primaries are anything but fair in Nigeria. Tinubu will be ready to empty Lagos State Treasury just to buy the delegates. Just like Wike almost emptied Rivers state Treasury in an attempt to get nominated.
