1) If the alert came in form of SMS, it wouldn't state clearly who the money is from. Same way, if the money is from someone and they're expecting money from someone, it's easier to mistake the two. It doesn't matter how much they spent it or that they spent it even. My dad calls me sometimes to handle his transactions for him. That's what pensioners are like. They don't crosscheck bank transactions as critically as younger generations do.

2) The mistake of the transfer is from you and you only and you need to understand that before throwing blame on other people. You took the account number yourself. You sent the money yourself, and though you claim you didn't verify the beneficiary, I find this rather hard to believe. My app verifies names before you can send money. Always. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Since the negligence came from you, now imagine if the money had entered into a stranger's account, what would have been your line of action? Harrass them for a mistake you made or beg that they return the money? Get angry and distrustful at the person for a mistake you made or pray and be hopeful they send the money back? The reason you're acting this way is because you know the person the money went to, so you're flexing muscles and calling them distrustful and lacking in integrity.


I would have advised you on what to do, but I think I should leave my advise for your girlfriend and her family instead. She should find a way to pay you back your money and then end things with you. Save her family's integrity from an arrogant man. People like you are very condencending in real life and she'd be a fool to continue anything with you.

False. The bank can sue you for theft and you will go to jail. I know of someone that is still in jail for spending N1.5 million that was mistakingly credited to his account. He was a jobless man with 4 sickle cell kids and pleas of desperation did not sway the judge.

Courts are there to either interprete the law or the the constitution. If a law is made and signed by an executive, if the courts feels the law is against the constitution, it can annul the law.

What he is saying is that AR-15s and other automatic weapons are useless against the US military. It can only be used by civilians to kill each other, in mass killings or in militia wars. I am not a motivational speaker. I am just a truth seeker. I hate lies, hypocrisy and dishonesty.

I believe that if you acquire skills/knowledge, are hardworking and not afraid to take risks (calculated). You will make it anywhere.

The problem is that most Nigerians are lazy (mentally). They want easy cash and give up at the first signs of failure. They waste all their time praying for breakthroughs and unmerited favours instead of investing their time and energy acquiring new skills. There are so much needs out there and very little people to fulfil these needs. My wife read marketing at ND levels. I encouraged her to acquire a skill instead of job hunting. After a full year of catering school, she now makes more more money than anyone could pay her.

I am saying all these to push young guys to acquire new skills and stop complaining about no job after graduating university.

As I said a man cannot remain on a financial boom for ever or throughout marriage. You never even stop to think what happens if a husband dies (as men tend to die earlier due to excessive stress) and leave many children. Will the wife and children become destitute.

She was wise enough to realise that for the long term wellbeing and survival of the family, she had to sustain the family while I recover my bearings. Since then, she has reaped a 100 fold that help. I paid for her to go to an expensive catering school, transportation, handouts and project fees apart from the tuition fees. I opened her own snacks outlet with a well equipped office attached. I am saving to send her on an advanced cake course abroad.

I don't know how long you have been married as that may have contributed to form your opinion but I am talking a point of experience and what I have seen happen to others.

For three years, I was jobless, penniless and had a new born son. My wife did not start behaving anyhow. She borrowed 100k from her brother and went to Cutonou to be bringing in bedsheets to be selling to friends and family. That sustained us for one year until I was able to get some construction contracts once again. I eternally remain greatful to her and never refuse any financial requests she makes.

If that is your mind set, then I am sorry to say that you started your marriage on a wrong premise. Financial stability does not depend on the amount of money you have at the moment. It can change like the British weather.

Throughout your life you will pass through the highs and lows of financial stability. When I got married, I was living in a 3 bedroom flat in surulere and driving an almost brand new BMW 5 series. 3 years into marriage, I had some series of bad deals and all my financial security went south. I left surulere and moved to a much cheaper 3 bedroom flat in Ikorodu. Did my wive's love turn to resentment or the bleeped my landlord? No. She contributed in helping the family. By the time our first child came, she was the one doing business and I was taking care of our son.

In less than 5 years I was able to pick up again and things has been on an upward trajectory since.

I read the story, and according to my comprehension, I don't see how the guy will join those developing America. From the story he got a scholarship from a patriotic Nigerian to study for PhD. He will pay well over $100,000 to the US economy (with $75,000/year for tuition alone). The issue is what happens after the PhD programme? If it was Trump, he would be deported back to Nigeria to use his PhD to develop his country. But Biden might want to use his skills to develop America.

It is pure thievery for US to encourage these trained skilled manpower that the Nigerian government had spent billions of naira producing to emigrate and develop the US that did not spend a kobo training them.

If the US, canada, UK and Australia steals all Africa's manpower, who would be left behind to develop the continent? Boko Haram, Al-Shabab, Fulani herdsmen, militants, etc.?

How long does it take to learn English or any other language. This is a very mute point. I know people that left Nigeria for Italy without understanding a word of Italian, and in 6 months they were speaking Italian like Antonio Conte.

My issue with you guys is the fact that you are promoting the talking points and interests of white Caucasians as against the interests of your own people. I don't quarrels with white Americans hating immigrants - (who are mainly from poor nations like Nigeria), because they are getting more competition and losing their once absolute dominance.
