yom2:All because he opened a twitter account. |
lrmushh:Salvation from what or whom? And why are you Christians more interested in making heaven than making it here on earth? |
hungryboy:tire dey burn burn human body to ashes but soul no fit burn. Dem say na only the pain of the fire you go feel but the fire .ni fit burn your soul body. So in theory the soul cannot be destroyed. |
Ben Bruce and his tweeter constituency are just rabble rousers. He gets up in the morning and tweet the first thing that comes to his mind without thinking and his followers cheer also without thinking. As long as the tweets are against Buhari and APC, it does not matter if it is sensible, his tweeter constituency gets excited. Now, what was the average age of his hero and brother's cabinet? why not compare the Jonathan's cabinet average age with that of Buhari. was it not under Jonathan than PDP appointed a 65 year old man as youth leader? where were his tweets then. If Ben Bruce is so passionate about youths, what had he done for the youths up till now? what programs had he done to empower and train youths for leadership positions. If Buhari had appointed a 22 year old as a minister the same Ben Bruce will tweet that Buhari has appointed inexperience neophytes as minister when there are many experienced men and people. Even kemi adeosun that is 49 years old that had wide experience in financial management is still considered too inexperienced to be a finance minister by Ben Bruce and his tweeter constituency. Mr Bruce should have gone ahead and name a 22 year old or even a 30 year old youth that he feels merits to be appointed a minister, then i will believe he has an idea of what he is tweeting about. |
kenonze:You forgot Youths Earnestly Ask for Abacha (YEAA).

badman007:I do not understand what OBJ and Atiku had to do with Ibori's case, neither do i understand the connection with OBJ sleeping with his son's wife in the whole matter. Ibori was not even arrested during OBJ's tenure. Was it the British and Nigerian government that made him steal from a supermarket during his first conviction? Was it the British and Nigeria government that made him launder stolen money in the UK? Why don't you guys discuss the main issue at hand instead of bringing up irrelevant and unrelated issues. |
See propaganda. So the British police was compromised and ibori is innocent, but he pleaded guilty and received a reduced sentence. So they are telling us ibori pleaded guilty under duress. |
The supreme court sometimes make questionable decisions. Once of such was the validation of OBJ's second term election results. The supreme court upheld an election that inec conducted with unserialized ballot papers, which was clearly against the electoral act. It seems supreme court justices always favour the person that appointed them. |
veraponpo:Don't mind the wailers, they expect Buhari to personally prepare the budget for the close to 30 ministries and hundreds of parastatals in Nigeria. Meanwhile, their hero never had anything to do with the budget. The budgets of his close to 6 years were prepared, presented and executed by Okonjo Iweala, who was the defacto prime minister. GEJ never for once answer any question pertaining to the budget. If you study the controversial budget, you will see that it is the same template with previous ones, the budget office just add figures to ready made templates irrespective of the proposals from the ministries and parastatals, and send same to the finance ministry for onward transmission to the national assembly. This budget scandal just exposes the problems of our budgeting process and showed why previous budgets Was never implemented. |
lagdmark:And how many times did GEJ go siddon for old people's home in Germany? Intact patience Jonathan went to siddon for dead people's home in Germany. Apart from Abacha, every Nigeria head of state goes to England or Germany at least once a year for medical check up. |
WATCHOVER:Can you care to elaborate how Buhari's old age is affecting him? |
The problem is not the hike itself, it is the corrupt tendency of the disco to charge estimated bills. The discos should have made sure everybody is metered before hiking the fees. They seem reluctant to deploy pre paid meters so as to continue scamming customers. The disco have no incentive to supply light to areas where they have no meters. They can bill them any estimate that comes to their mind, they just use the use the customers without meters to make up for their revenue shortfalls after collecting bills from metered customers. |
Wailers can wail all they can, they can criticize Buhari for everything he says or do, but if the elections were held today, he will still trounce GEJ. The GEJites did worse before the last election, they called Buhari an illiterate, too old, he will die before inauguration or in office, pedophile, terrorist, certificateless, dictator, corrupt, etc, did that stop him getting elected. The best way to defeat Buhari in the next election is not by using the same failed strategy of insults, wailings and criticisms, it is by presenting credible candidates with credible programs. |
IkennaNweke:Please refer me to just one instance Senator Ben Bruce has spoken in the chamber. |
Each time Mr Ben Bruce opens his mouth (his twitter page) he sounds like a person seeking attention at all cost. His tweet about the N80 million dinner and criminality is so out of place, it is senseless. Amaechi spending N80 million for a dinner event might be extravagant and morally wrong but to say it is criminal is senseless and to compare it to the type of criminality Buhari was referring to in London is bordering on insanity. If Amaechi extravagant dinner is criminality then what does he call national assembly's illegal and extravagant allowances including constituency projects. The Nigeria national assembly is the mist extravagant in the world, so he is as much a criminal as Amaechi according to his definition of criminality. |
RightBoo:Can you contradict my theory? I can profile you based just on your view of this Buhari comment. I can say with almost 100% accuracy that RightBoo is; - An IPOB Youth or IPOB supporter. - A core Igbo ( Abia or Egugu state) - A PDP/TAN apologist - A Jonathan till 2019 advocate. - A supporter of Dasuki, Saraki, Metuh, Tompolo, Kanu, all suspected criminals. - A chronic Buhari hater - An APC hater Please correct me if i am wrong |
engineerboat:Well without missiles, bombs and machine guns, they are no better than passenger aircraft. |
engineerboat:You are speaking from both sides of your mouth in a single statement. In one breadth you say GEJ purchased many Jets and the two demilitarized and decommisioned Alpha jets was for training purpose, in the next breath you said Nigeria was banned from buying Military hardware at that particular time. Now in your next breadth answer this question; did GEJ buy fully militarized fighter jets, how many and what models? (i am not even asking of the cost) |
RightBoo:I think the reverse is the case, it is criminals that thow the most fits at being called criminal, non criminals simply ignore. If you study this issue well, it is those that support criminals that are most pained by Buhari's statement, people who hate any form of criminality either support the statement or simply ignore. |
MsGlobalwonder:Quite that scare away investor shiit you guys yap about, Negative image cannot scare away the type of investors Nigeria attract. Nigeria attracts Lebanese, Indian, Chinese and Israeli investors, investors who love and thrive in corrupt prone environments. European, American and Japanese investors would never come to Nigeria (- Except maybe in the oil and gas sector). Most of them left ages ago. Most European and US companies that came to invest in Nigeria had serious trouble with their home governments. If a US or European company is involved in corrupt practices abroad, those involved would be jailed. |
engineerboat:But you are defending GEJ buying of two demilitarized and decommisioned Alpha Jets for a war against Boko Haram. The youtube videos you posted does not tell us anything. It just showed a non weaponized alpha jet flying around. It does not even tell us that the alpha jet belong to the Nigeria Air Force, if it did, what was it doing in manchester? |
tuale4u:Thank you for saying the truth. It is only people who has never seen an international airport that would complain about Buhari's advise to Nigerian in London. At one time Nigeria's image was so bad that no e-commerce site accepts Nigerian issued credit or debit cards, every Nigerian was viewed either as a drug dealer or internet scammer. Although things have marginally improved, there is still a lot of work to be done. Our youths in foreign lands have to learn to be engaged meaningfully and stop engaging in criminality. The Nigerian Hypocrisy is ingrained in its culture and religion. A person that is sick is not supposed to admit he/she is sick, a sick person is supposed to say i am strong or i am well if asked about his health. Same for poverty, a poor person is supposed to reply he is rich when asked about his/her financial situation. one area where i alway have issues with my friends and families, is when i say " i have a problem ", they always tell me never to admit i have a problem, but i tell them that according to my philosophy all challenges are problems and it is solving problems that can make one great or succeed, that not having problems makes one a failure. |
kodded:Fallacy. Most terrorists are not from Syria. Name one terrorist from Syria you know. You are "#IAmANigerianNotACriminal" but you are an avid supporter of Tompola, Dasuki and Metuh, and you are vehemently against Buhari anti-corruption war. As the saying goes " Show me your heros and i will tell you who you are ", so from your heros, i can deduce you are a criminal |
uzolexis:The Bible say " Know the truth and the truth shall set you free " Buhari was addressing Nigerians in London and not the diplomatic community, he was telling them the damage their criminal acts is having on the image of Nigeria. In this information age, it is not what a single person says that shape public image, it is what is on social media. Facebook, twitter and even Nairaland influences our public image far more than anything the president can say. Do you know the number of foreigners that read Nairaland? Nairaland has far more influence on Nigeria's image than what the president can say. |
Nigeria is the epitome of Hypocrisy, the same people shouting "Re: #IAmANigerianNotACriminal " are the same people supporting anybody accused of being a criminal. They are the ones protesting the arrest and detention of Dasuki, Dokpesi, the NIMASA boss, Metuh, etc. Anybody acussed of being a criminal automatically becomes their hero. The same " Re: #IAmANigerianNotACriminal " Ben"almighty" Bruce had never condemned criminality, he had never tweeted about the alleged $2.1 billion arms saga by Dasuki, he had not commented on any of the alleged massive corruption that happened under the administration of his brother. Instead he is scanning every statement and action with of Buhari for tweeting. Any successful Nigeria abroad can understand Buhari's statement, Nigeria and Nigerians have to work hard at improving their image instead of hiding their heads in the same and pretending all is well. I have very successful friends (Nigerians) who tell me that they do not associate with fellow Nigerians because of the terrible drug and 419 reputation Nigerians have in the US. We should start learning to tell ourselves the truth. The first step to solving a problem is accepting there is a problem. |
engineerboat:You people scream electromagnetic induction as if you learnt a big word for the first time. A JSS student knows what electromagnetic induction means, so i do not under stand the relevance to the topic at hand. You are yet to explain why GEJ bought demilitarized and decommissioned jets at exhorbitant prices in the middle of a war. Buying Alpha jets for traininig purposes in the middle of a war is insane, even when we had about 10 of such obsolete jets in our airforce. You people will still come and support GEJ if he buys Banger for $1 million each as bombs to fight boko haram, you will use the same useless excuse of Nigeria is under US arms embargo and so bangers was the only thing GEJ could buy. You will further add that it is the same banger Buhari is using to defeat Boko Haram. |
Publicity Stunt. Mr Bruce did not need to go into an insultive fit on an innocent comment. He should have politely educated the guy on how he patronizes made in Nigeria products. He should have told him how many innoson buses he or his company had bought and how many kia motors he had bought. Showing a picture of one innoson bus with silverbird logo does not signify much. If he intends to further his political career and hold other elective offices, he has to learn to respond to people who doubt his integrity with more decorum. |
Jona owes Nigeria an explanation on why he failed to act for 3 days after he got the security reports that over 200 girls had been abducted. As commander in chief he should have ordered immediate military response, even if he thinks the abductions was a hoax. To react half heartedly 3 days later is the height of irresponsibility. I wonder why Nigerians have not question Jonathan for his atrocious response to the Chibok girl's abductions. |
You people ( PDP and it's allies) are not tired of these worn out excuses for the previous government's squandermania. Please respond to the question; why did Okonjo Iweala not save portion of the FG's 52% share and even resorted to borrowing to run the government? Was it Amaechi that prevented the FG from saving? Also tell me which PDP governor including Jonathan's staunch allies like Akpabio and Jonah Jang that supported the FG to help the states save its portion of allocations? I am sure that if the governor's agreed to saving their share, they would have been scammed by Okonjo and Jonathan. They would have spent all the money in the guise of fighting Boko Haram and fuel subsidy. Again read this article to understand the grievances of the governor's; Excess Crude Account: Governors to charge FG to court |
xtrorz:How can i leave Igbos out of my home troubles when there are thousands of Igbos in my home - warri. How can i leave Igbos out of my troubles when i have an igbo wife and an igbo business partner. So until you guys get you own country and stop insulting and comparing yourselves with other tribes, you will be part of my troubles. |
Adelaide2:Although i commend my Igbo brothers for this innovation because it is a shame we still import military kits in Nigeria, comments like this underlines the significance of the feat. They make every achievement by any igboman, a us against them war. So instead of such feats bringing us closer, it further divides us. Igbos are not the only ones producing in Nigeria. Most of the food you eat are produced in the north except the imported ones, most services are produced by southwesterners, most fish and fishery products are produced by Ijaw and riverine Nigerdeltans. So it is a fallacy to say that only the Igbos are producing anything at all. Senator Abaribe should present the kits to the president or military chiefs, the decision to place orders rest with them. |
chukwudi44:That is why i hate chest beaters, when shit hits the fan, they cry worse than babies. If Buhari should deploy federal might to rig elections, these chest beaters would start crying genocide, human rights, Hague, putin, Obama, Cameron, UN, etc. |
