Paulancebay:
Those governors Ogunye mentioned became governors under GEJ who did not try anything to interfere with the decision of the judiciary. For God sake, I can't behold the selfishness of APC in this their governance method by coercion! I wonder what could have happened to these " saintly" set of looters if GEJ never handed over to them. APC should accept in gud faith the judgement of the supreme Court and they should note that somebody lost and election he never went to supreme Court or cause his followers to start killing, no matter how clueless and stupid maniac GEJ was, he gave Nigeria a breath of life and shamed all negative columnists who thought that Nigeria was heading to her doom via 2015 elections. To the best of my knowledge GEJ left this country with a gud blue print he didn't implement to the letter, he left the country in relative peace outside the Bokoharam and some skirmishes, now APC is making war with itself,PDP, Niger Delta militants, bokoharam, even the one that doesn't require making war with IPOB and most unfortunately, APC is equally at war with the judiciary and legislators and I ask, how many wars are they going to make and win. My advice: attention of the government should be towards reviving the economy, it should be about reflecting in the future and not dwelling on it,jailing looters without bias, and making peace across board to bridge the gap which has been make fragile through the elections!
You people (PDP and their ally IPOB) are always talking from all sides of your mouth, making senseless statements. What evidence do you have that Buhari is interfering with the judiciary or that Jonathan did not interfer with the judiciary. Buhari has complained times without number that he does not have the support of the judiciary, especially in his fight against corruption and you ethnic and political bigots still accuse him of interfering with the judiciary.

Jonathan was a disaster, he is only a hero to senior PDP members, militants, looters and IPOB anarchists. Which peace did he leave Nigeria, was it boko Haram bombing taking and controlling Nigeria's territories, daily ethnic conflagration in the middle belt or the kidnapping in the east.

You just pray that Buhari would fail. Are you aware of the consequences if Buhari fails? You think you will be insulated from the consequences. You say you want Buhari to revive the economy but you do not want him to get his hands on money to do it. When he asked politicians to return looted funds, you insult him, when he wants to borrow from international bodies, you attack him, if he intends to increase taxes you crucify him, but you still shout " revive the economy".
Who killed the economy in the first place that you want Buhari to revive?
PoliticsRe: Sagay, Ogunye Fault S’court Judgments On Gov Polls by wirinet(m): 8:54am On Feb 05, 2016
What Professor Sagay is saying is that it is strange that the supreme court found all elections brought before it to be good despite violence observed by local and international observers, before and during elections, the report of security forces, especially the military and the opinions of the lower courts.

As i always say, what goes around comes around. The APC controls the security forces and the military, in subsequent elections, the Federal Government can deploy the armed forces massively to rig elections, it would not matter how many people would be killed. The supreme court would have no justification to cancel elections based on violence.

I think the supreme court should have cancelled at least one election based on violence. It would have put the popularity of the current governor to test and put the APC led government in the the spot light to see if they can conduct a violence free election.

He is absolutely correct in his comparison Using Quantum Theory, gravity and light are comparable because according to Quantum Mechanics(theory) everything that exist both in the macro(physical),micro(quantum) and even wave(spiritual) dimension is made up of energy vibrating in different frequencies including gravity and light, even your thought is manifestation of vibrating energies in matching frequencies, without energy there will be no gravity. So therefore Quanta=Energy=Gravity
Quanta=Energy=Photon=Light
The individual unit of light is the photon and the individual unit of energy is quanta, hence Quantum Theory state that energy is made up of individual particles or unit called quanta or energy is quantized. If energy being the basis of everything is quantized by simple analogy gravity is also quantized. Both concept of light and energy are comparable because of quantization.
Gravity is not energy, so it can not be quantized. Gravity as postulated by Einstein's Law of General Relativity is a distortion in the fabric of space-time.

Let's say you have a stretched rubber sheet... And you place an object of mass on the rubber sheet. Now place other smaller objects at other points on the rubber sheet. Now take out the large object. Does the rubber sheet just flatten out? Nope. The rubber sheet first recovers from the dent, goes up, down, up and so until it finally flattens out. This wave like disturbance acts on the other objects but not instantaneously. Time elapses, even though you might not notice. That is exactly what will happen if a star goes nova. Gravity propagates.
Opinion is divided as regard instantaneous or delayed propagation of gravity, and experiments do not support delayed propagation.
please read this article and tell me your thoughts

The Speed of Gravity What the Experiments Say

Abstract. Standard experimental techniques exist to determine the propagation speed of forces. When we apply these techniques to
gravity, they all yield propagation speeds too great to measure, substantially faster than lightspeed. This is because gravity, in
contrast to light, has no detectable aberration or propagation delay for its action, even for cases (such as binary pulsars) where
sources of gravity accelerate significantly during the light time from source to target. By contrast, the finite propagation speed of
light causes radiation pressure forces to have a non-radial component causing orbits to decay (the “Poynting-Robertson effect”); but
gravity has no counterpart force proportional to to first order.

Oh yes, there will be. The reason is that Space is not empty. Einstein said space is filled with the aether. So, when the star goes Nova, the aether will be distorted.. And this will propagate like a wave to the surroundings. For example, when you drop a stone in water, you see ripples propagate as waves from the point you dropped the stone, to wherever it can go... That's how gravity behaves. There's always a time lag, cos here, the waves have to travel through a medium
I have not read anything physics for a decade, but i can't remembered Einstein agreeing with the ether hypothesis. Einstein say gravity as an after effect of mass distorting the space-time fabric, so removing that distortion should automatically remove the distortion ( maybe instantaneously). I might have to dust up my old books on fundamental physics.

I remembered Einstein was toying with the idea of gravity waves, but can't remember his conclusions.

Fallacy. Gravity is everywhere, it pervades the whole universe. in fact there is far more gravity in the universe than can be accounted for by mass alone.

Gravity is not energy, Bros. According to the Relativity theories, Gravity is not a real force sef. It's a warp... A curvature in the fabrics of spacetime
Gravity is the least understood force of nature. it does not seem to be affected by time, it is able to warp space-time. If a star goes nova, will there be a time lag between when the star explodes and when planets around it feel the loss of its gravity? tell me what you think.

You are wrong time is not an abstract concept, it is an integral component of space. without time, there would be no space, hence the equation - distance (s) equals velocity (v) times time (t). (s = vt.) please not distance equals space.

I also belief time travel (in reverse) is impossible.

Let me beg to differ.
I agree life - as defined on earth is molecule or cell based. However that's the human definition. Again that restriction. Your comment on silicon again is restricted to the known elements on our periodic table again discovered and still being discovered by man. So what is there may be over a million elements that are currently existing / evolving across the planets?
Again you talk about solar or cosmic radiation defined by man's understanding and belief of what doses are "normal" and not harmful. But what if a planet doesn't even have need a star that radiates solar energy. And then again, what if there are planets that have upto 3 suns far larger than that of earth's yet lifeforms can thrive.
The number of what if's should not be ignored simply becsue man's science restricts our abilities to see a far bigger picture of possibilities!
The basic unit of life is a molecule - the DNA molecule. That is the scientific definition. If you have another definition of life, lets have it.

You do not seem to understand basic scientific laws. One of them is ; The laws of physics is constant throughout the universe. So you cannot have more than 109 naturally occurring elements in the universe. Physics does not permit elements with atomic mass more than 109 (naturally). There are not over a million elements existing anywhere in the universe.

I am not taking of dosage. Highly energetic gamma and cosmic rays would destroy any complex molecules that form. it would not permit life to evolve in the first place.

You third point is mute, a planet cannot exist without a sun in the first place, and if the sun does not radiate enough energy, its planets would be very ( sub-zero temperature variation) cold. Any solar system with more than 1 sun is a big no as far as life is concerned, its orbits around the suns would be too complex.
Science/TechnologyRe: Are We Alone In The Universe? by wirinet(m): 11:16pm On Feb 01, 2016
I was a strong believer of the universe teeming with life, but with more understanding of life, i have began to scale down my expectations. There is a possibility that we are alone in the universe.

The vastness of the universe makes the probability of life existing only on earth highly unlikely; but then we have to take the uniqueness of LIFE into consideration. First to understand how unique life is in the universe, you would need to understand the very definition of life. Life is simply a set of self duplicating molecules, either singularly or in combinations to form larger units. Now the conditions for a set of molecules to achieve self duplication is highly specific and rare.
Let me list some of these conditions;
- There must be presence of liquid water. Gaseous and solid water cannot support the processes of life. This restrict the surface temperature of a planet that can support life to between 0 to between100 degrees centegrade.
- There must be abundant carbon as life can only be carbon based. Silicon cannot support life as it combination with other elements and compounds is limited. if silicon can support life, life on earth will be silicon based as silicon make up 28% of elements on earth.
- The interior of a planet that support life must have a molten magnetic core to create a magnetic shield to protect the planet. without the magnetic shield, solar and cosmic radiation would not even allow life to form.
Another important factor for life is the type of sum. The sun holding the planet must be the right size, ie a yellow dwarf. If the sun is too big, it would give out too powerful radiations and burn out too fast to allow life on any of its planets. If it is too small it would not provide enough energy to sustain life on its planets. it is only a yellow dwarf that can remain stable for billions of years to allow life to evolve.

- Eccentricity. Planets that can sustain life must have less eccentric orbits around it sun, highly eccentric orbits would cause to wide a temperature variation to allow life to evolve.

There are other specific conditions necessary for life.

Earth is uniquely poised to meet all these conditions and i suspect only few stars and planets that can meet the conditions necessary for life.

First that is not AD, APC and APC ideology, it is the constitution. OBJ went against the constitution and created the excess crude accounts, which really helped Nigeria in time of need.

Secondly, the share ideology is not just opposition ideology but Nigerian ideology. No PDP politician - governors, legislatures and public officials supported savings. Why could she not save when oil was selling at record prices. She could not even save from FG's 52% share, instead she was borrowing massively to run the government.

What even makes this lie more ridiculous is that fact that most of the governors that opposed the sovereign wealth fund aka excess crude account were PDP, even Amaechi was still PDP member when the governors they took the FG to court. I don't know of a single PDP governor that supported the sovereign wealth fund, so i do not how they can blame the APC ( or Tinubu) which wasn't even in existence when the governors took the FG to court over the excess crude account.

Excess Crude Account: Governors to charge FG to court
September 20, 2012

The governor of the states in Nigeria disagree with the FG over deductions from the Excess Crude Account to offset fuel subsidy.
The Nigeria Governors Forum, NGF, on Thursday said it would return to court to challenge the Federal Government’s deductions from the Excess Crude Account, to offset fuel subsidy payments.
The Chairman or the NGF, Chibuike Amaechi, said this at the forum’s meeting in Abuja.
Mr. Amaechi stated that the NGF unanimously took the decision after long deliberations to get the court to compel the Federal Government to adhere to the provision of the constitution.
“On the Excess Crude Account, forum unanimously decided to head back to court to enforce the Federal Government’s adherence to the constitution,’’ he stated.

The meeting was attended by the governors of Rivers, Cross River, Ekiti, Ondo, Anambra, Kogi, Lagos, Niger, Gombe, Adamawa, Yobe, Taraba, Enugu, Jigawa, Delta, Plateau, Ondo, Abia, Ogun and Oyo states.
Others are: Kogi, Akwa Ibom, Niger, Kwara, and Nasarawa states among, while Imo was represented by the deputy governor.

What you are telling us now is that corruption that Obasanjo started must not end with you, right? Mr Dino, if you want to do the right thing, drop the idea of buying the unnecessary cars and probe the alleged bribery you claimed Obasanjo started if truly he was the one who gave out the bribe. By doing so, you will win my support. Nonsense!
My brother, your comment is one of the few sensible one in this thread. People are just debating irrelevant issues. OBJ accused the whole national assembly of extravagant and illegal expenditures - especially the N4.7 billion budgeted just for cars in the 2016 budget proposal. Instead of Dino to address the issues at hand, he went for irrelevant excursions into history, of how OBJ started bribery in the national assembly. How does his response answer the letter OBJ wrote?

Dino is showing he has low intellectual capacity to engage in a sensible debate and is only a noise maker only capable of attacking personalities instead of discussing issues.

Are you being sarcastic or you are actually serious. Every other person involved with combat operations against Boko Haram contradict what you wrote up there. Apart from the urgency and flurry of activities within the election postponement window, the Nigerian army lost EVERY combat with boko Haram. Boko Haram were overrunning Nigerian military barracks in the northeast with embarrassing ease. Boko Haram captured and held unto 14 local governments and the government seemed powerless. Everybody including northern governors and the soldiers on the field complained of lack of equipment and that boko Haram were better armed than the Nigerian military. Perhaps your relation is going for governorship in Rivers state, therefore you may finally give Rivers state to Arewa. Think before it is too late.
Ignorance at its peak. How is nigerdelta owned by fulani? So because the president is fulani, the nigerdelta is therefore owned by fulani, in that case igboland is also owned by Fulani.

If you are talking about oil block allocations, then i will ask, how many Fulanis own oil blocks. Oil blocks were allocated to every tribe in Nigeria, including Igbos. In fact it is the nigerdeltans that are marginalized as i know of no Niger delta indigene that owns an oil well.

Honorable Minister for Transport, Rt. Hon Rotimi Amaechi, we are really pleased with your continuous exceptional kind gestures towards the North, in spite of the attacks on your person and ideology from some sections of the country as a result of that.

We first took cognizance of your extreme love for the North when you courageously supported the then Jega-led INEC creation of additional 30,000 polling units, at a time that Southern Leaders led by former Vice President Alex Ekwueme, Chief Edwin Clark, Senator Femi Okuronmu and Bishop Bolanle Gbonigi, were strongly against it for favouring the North against the South. You boldly and openly criticised the then president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan for halting it because it favoured the North.

Honorable Minister Sir, we also appreciate the pivotal role you played in the emergence of Muhammadu Buhari as the
APC presidential candidate as well as his victory at the polls. Even though it was totally against the will of your people, but you shunned ethnic sentiments and placed the interest of the country first before that of your people. We salute such
unprecedented patriotic gesture.

Sir you gladdened our hearts when you announced the cancellation of the needless NIMASA proposed Maritime University in Gbaramatu Delta State, because of the plan of this government to upgrade the Nigerian Aviation College in Zaria to a university status.

We cannot forget the good treatment and empowerment you accorded our people residing in Rivers State while you were
the Governor of that state. Our people doing all kind of legitimate business in Rivers State, including cattle rearers
came back home to tell us how fairly you treated them.

We urge you not to be distracted by those calling you unprintable names but continue to use your good office to support the North because, we will always stand with you in your political career.

We thank you so much and may God bless you richly for everything you have done for us. Sir we are glad to inform you that, we formally adopt you as one of our own because, you have proven to be a true friend of the North. You are always welcome here because, you have earned yourself a home in the North.

How was iran able to have Functional refineries but Nigeria on the other hand could not. It means Iran is able to meet its domestic fuel needs without having to import refined products. Don't you think we can learn from Iran how they were able to build and maintain functional refineries to meet their domestic demand.

Even though Iran is an islamic country, how come it does does not grapple with terrorists? We have never heard of a terrorist attack on Iran despite sharing border with terrorist infected Iraq. How are there able to manage the Sunmi - Shiite conflict?

If interest free Islamic Banking can stimulate business and the economy, why cant we adopt the same model? We can also employ interest free banking to stimulate business.

If Iran can be energy sufficent, develop nuclear power, both for civilian and military purposes, develop their military strength and capacity - all without oil export.

Iran is even able to build and fund external armies without borrowing - unlike Nigeria.

Why cant we also develop despite receiving such huge revenue from crude oil.

TSA - Treasury Single Account was her brain child
How was TSA her brain child? Please explain.

Was she responsible for drafting section 80 subsection 1 of the question1999 constitution ?

Section 80 (1) of the 1999 Constitution as amended states “All revenues, or other moneys raised or received by the Federation (not being revenues or other moneys payable under this Constitution or any Act of the National Assembly into any other public fund of the Federation established for a specific purpose) shall be paid into and form one Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federation”
The consolidated revenue fund is the same thing as the treasury single account.
