Tflex01:Why somebody? What stops you from sending the petition? Abi your fingers have been amputated or you no sabi write? |
Nigerialabalaba:His CV has just been destroyed by his ethnicist/racist remarks. No international organisation would hire a person that makes publicly makes ethnicist/racist remarks Na d real power brokers for Yoruba send Bayo to deliver dat strong mesage to tell una say never again we go allow una covetiousness to steal any Yoruba slot again. Yoruba no dey drag una ibo seats for Iboland so mind una business, we go mind our own business with full attention. We no dey look for trouble no look for our own.Power brokers for yoruba no send Bayo, na Lagos power broker send am to deliver message. Other Yorubas outside Tinubu acolytes and supporters have no issue with igbos. Which igbos dey drag yoruba seat for Yorubaland? We are supposed to be in a democracy, one man one vote. Tinubu brand of politics is tribal. Every election cycle, he and his acolytes always threaten the igbos. If you guys are tired of democracy, then say so and we can revert to autocracy or plutocracy. Do ur business for our land, make ur money but comot eyes and never ever mouth for our local politics in Yorubaland if u still wan peace with us. We no dey put mouth for una own and we no dey covet una slots.A constitutional republic does not work that way. People are free to reside where ever they choose. They have the rights to live, pay tax, vote and do business wherever they choose. Now, if you dont want other Nigerians to have constitutional rights on your land, then start the process of secession, so that everyone will form their own country. |
panpan:Let me help you add more ..... Africans should stop begging the western nations and their agencies for loans and aids. Africans leaders and politicians should stop running to Western hospitals for treatment of common illnesses including malaria. African leaders and politicians should stop carrying looted funds to Western banks. Africans leaders should stop ferrying their children and families to Western nations while destroying their countries. African youth must stop japaing to Western nations looking for a better life and sometimes constituting nuisance. Finally Africans must be allowed to kill each other and never call for external aid once politically motivated ethnic conflict starts an ethnic war. |
Nyanabo:We are not talking about sharia or traditional law, but civil law or English law modelled after the British Legal system. In this system you lose your rights of absolute ownership of a property once you lease it out. |
Nyanabo:On morality, as I said, she has no right to determine someone else's morality. On security, she has to prove how bringing in his girlfriend(s) constitute security risk. How will bringing in a girl into his private room constitute nuisance to others outside? Her being a landlady doesn't give her the right to decide what he eats, drink, or who they sleep with. But she has a right to say who should come into her property. Thats what's up.It's not exactly her property once she decides to lease a part out to another person. It's no longer her property until the terms of the lease expires. I have gotten an injunction before that preventedy landlady from stepping leg into her compound until after the determination of the case I instituted against her. So quit that "it's her property and so she can do as she likes inside her tenant's house" nonsense. |
Nyanabo:Yes her house, her rules, but she has no right to determine what her tenants drinks, eats or who they fùck, that's an invasion of privacy. If she is so jobless about pocknosing into other people's she should have written it in her tenancy agreement in black and white. I once had a landlord in London in my 20s who after I paid rent insisted, I must not cook meat in his house, because he is a vegan, and cooking meat is a sin. He would come every weekend to inspect the house. Me that I love meat and chicken did not even bother to argue. I would cook meat as I liked. Whenever he comes, he would know, because he could smell cooked meat, even if you cooked it 5 days ago. He could then burn incense all over the house to drive away the evil spirit of the meat and the smell. After constant quarrel for 3 months, I decided to leave and get another apartment. If you bring a criminal who would be implicated? We are not talking about criminality here but morality. You cannot impose your morality on others just because they rent your house. |
Bridget95:Not of your business who he bleeps. Why will your take your babes to hotel when you rented a flat legally? It doesn't make sense. Next time you guys will insist person must not drunk beer in his house but go to a bar if he wants to drink alcohol. |
Rayban25:This is where I blame the OP. If the landlord put no female visitors or any visitor as conditions for renting her house, he should not have paid for the house. |
Nyanabo:And how is that the landlady or anyone else's business? |
Promotions:You Christian moral crusaders don start again. Which one consign you wit him lifestyle? As long as he is not disturbing his neighbours or breaking any law. His lifestyle is no one's business. Me when I first rent my first house, adugbo know say player don land. I get different babe for different days of the week. |
GloriousGbola:Believe me it would. The British and US justice system is restitutive and not punitive like ours. Admitting to a crime and showing remorse usually leads to a lighter sentence. Their court system frowns at wasting judicial time. |
omonnakoda:And the same UK system you trust their media so much found the Ekweremmadus along with their doctor guilt of organ trafficking. Maybe it's only the UK judiciary you don't trust. Besides, you became blind to the "donor fees" and agent fees in the disposition. |
GloriousGbola:Ike is an incompetent lawyer. So also is his legal team. They were just scamming him. With the evidence presented by the metropolitan police, a sensible lawyer would have bargained. |
jaxxy:Provide evidence where he lied to the police. What do you have against the boy, why hate him so much. I would think your hatred should be directed at Ekweremmadu and his fellow politicians who made Nigeria a hellish shit hold that can't carry out an ordinary kidney transplant. |
omonnakoda:https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/mar/23/nigerian-politician-wife-doctor-guilty-organ-trafficking-uk-ike-ekweremadu
|
ArcSEMPECJ:That's a crime according to British statutes. but along the line , they boy was briefed that reporting Ekweremmadu will rather earn him asylum in UK and his life will forever change than accepting to give one of his kidney to Ekweremadu'sdaughter. That's karma. Afterall the Ike Ekweremmadu and his fellow politicians have been cheating poor ordinary Nigerians for decades, it poetic justice that a mere 21 year old illiterate played a fast one on a whole deputy senate president. Apart from this scenario, if Ekweremmadu forcefully took the boy to London to harvest his organ as narrated, then I don't think he deserves pardon, he should serve his jail terms in peace....The law didn't say you have to kidnap a victim before it can be turned organ trafficking. Offering money for kidney is a crime. Whichever one that played out, let him learn his lesson and know that money doesn't solve everything when your cup is filled up......That what lots of Nigerians needs to understand. Money can't solve all problems especially in advanced countries. |
jaxxy:What does lying about his age have to do with an allegation of organ trafficking? |
omonnakoda:Ike Ekwerenmadu paid Dr Obeta N4.5 million, but the boy was said to have received only N177,000.
|
omonnakoda:See chronic colo-mentalty. All British newspapers are credible and all Nigerian newspapers are not credible. Oya let's have a screenshot of any British newspaper you term credible that said David Nwamini Ukpo was compatible with Sonia with sources. At least I provided screenshot of my unreliable Nigerian newspapers. |
Angelfrost:Critically looked at how? A poor 21 year old was offered offered a way out of poverty by selling his kidney for a better life in the UK and cash. How many in such conditions will refuse the offer. The boy will probably be granted asylum in the UK, because he can claim his life will be I danger if he returns to Nigeria. |
omonnakoda:You are thr one that is talking like an illiterate that cannot read or comprehend. There were numerous reports stating that the kidney did not match when tested in London (along with concerns about the boys demeanour). That's why the operation could not proceed and the beginning of the boys troubles that led to him running to the police station.
|
omonnakoda:Read the story well. The kidney did not match. |
Angelfrost:Whether he has an idea or not has no bearing on the case. Buying and selling of organs is illegal in the UK. Period! The holes in this gist ought to be obvious to a serious court! How does the whole have impact on the legality of the case? What about the holes in the Ekwerenmadu's story. The got the boy to the UK claiming he was a cousin. UK court wan just fall hand anyhow! You think UK courts is like Nigerian courts that is partial to the rich and powerful? |
TheChameleon:That's the greatest disease of the black man, irrespective of tribe, creed or religion - Greed. Greed is a diseases that causes death and poverty to all around us, it is responsible for the death of thousands of expectant mothers, children and adults dying of simple curable diseases. It is responsible for lack of water, light and simple amenities that's taken for granted in other places. If Ekwerenmadu had been less greedy and offered the boy a mere £20,000 to resettle himself in London, the boy would not have needed to go to the police station to avoid being depleted. If Ekwerenmadu had been less greedy and helped his kinsmen, his fellow law makers and his extended family, i am sure he would not have been abandoned like an orphan, and Nigeria would have used diplomatic channels to help him. Abeg help me ask what Ekwerenmadu is doing with 40 houses when his village is still in abject poverty? I Hope oyinbo people would develop vaccine to help cure Greed, else we will destroy ourselves. |
At least a documentary about the life of Tinubu will include his educational background - primary and secondary schools he attended including some of his classmates, his family background - his real father, uncles, aunties, cousins, etc., and his career back ground - if he was actually an employee of delloite. Without clarifying these contentious issues a documentary on Tinubu will be meaningless. |
N3TRAL:Told dem my broda. The igbos need to change their mindset and start accommodating outsiders. They should stop their we have all, we know all and hostile attitude towards foreigners. If Canana, Australia and even UK is still encouraging foreigners to bring in their money and skills, why do igbos think they can be an island. |
GREATIGBOMAN:Kidnapping for ransome had been a problem in the South East since the mid 2000s. Evans started his trade in the east sometimes in mid 2000s before expanding to Lagos and Abuja. Before IPOB south east have been one of the safest zone in NigeriaFrom 2007 I know many easterners that was afraid to go home for their yearly Christmas holiday due to the fear of kidnappers. In the same 2007 a tenant of my father inlaw was kidnapped in the east, he was held captive for 2 months. On his release after paying huge ransome, he was cripped. He had to abandon his trucking business in lagos and relocate to the village. Unless you want to tell us YellowBars only started thinking of investment and building estates less than 3 years agoAs I said, the east is not investment friendly, not even for indigenes not to talk of outsiders. That's why wealthy igbo men has more investments in other parts of Nigeria than in their states. |
Putinofrussia:Everyone cheated. It's the best cheater that was declared winner. That's what is referred to "structures"in Nigerian political lexicon. |
Armaggedon:The problem with the average igbo, particularly those with limited exposure is arrogance - unrestrained egocentricism. Igbos are the most hard working while all others are lazy, igbos are the most intelligent, while all others are stupid, igbos are the richest, igbos are the prettiest, all without statistical evidence. The irony is that after all these chest beating, the next minute the same person will start crying of marginalisation, oppression, hatred by others, etc. Igbos are no more hardworking than the average Yoruba service provider, hausa farmer or Ijaw fisherman. The problem is difference in areas of specialisation. While Yorubas prefers administrative jobs and services, hausa/fulanis prefers farming/husbandry, igbos prefers trading and hustling (any business that bring in money irrespective of its legality or morality). This is what lots of you guys call hard work. China did not start developing until it opened its economy to the world. China initially lost out on industrial revolution because it closed up its country and economy. It opened up its economy to foreign investors starting in the 70s. It gave tax breaks and other incentives to western countries to set up industries in China. They started building infrastructure eg, rail, ports, power stations, roads, etc, to support industries. The only condition the Chinese government gave foreigners to investment in China being that Chinese citizens must be involved as a shareholder and most of the workforce must be Chinese. Most western companies moved moved their factories to China. This single move catapulted the Chinese economy to the second biggest in the world within two decades. Lagos is what it is today because it attracted investments not only from other Nigerians but from other foreigners from around the world. You guys stubbornly refuse to learn. |
JOemmy:What do you mean they continue to plot against the igbos politically? Politics is a game of power, intrigues, alliances and strategy. If you lose out today, you go back to to drawing board and restrategise again. You don't shout "civil war", marginalisation, etc, everytime you lose out politically. Remember the Yorubas felt they were marginalised by President Jonathan, what did they do? Instead of threatening other Nigerians with civil war and secession, they formed an alliance with the Hausa/Fulanis to remove Jonathan. After that the Yorubas strategized to take over the presidency. Now what did you guys do? You guys started employing blackmail and threatening secession because you lost out after Jonathan. IPOB started insulting everybody including Yorubas, Fulanis and anyone who does not support them. Kanu became a demigod to the youths and the elders instead of cautioning him remained silent. Now the hatred he sowed is beginning to germinate, yorubas are responding, even the nigerdelta who were at the receiving end of kanu's insults are just watching. The worst of it is that IPOB made the Igbos politically irrelevant by their stupid sit at home and no elections in the east declarations. Luckily they now have a Peter Obi. If the igbos are wise, they should rally around Peter Obi, Peter Obi has support more from other Nigerians than even igbos themselves. Prominent igbos including members of Ohaneze, Governor Soludo and Givernor Wike did not support Obi. Afenifere supported Peter Obi, Retired Nigerian Generals including T.Y. Danjuma, Obasanjo Supports Obi. Even if he is cheated this time around, with the right alliance, messaging and strategy he will surely win the next election. |
benalvino3:According to INEC. INEC does not have the final say on who wins an election in Nigeria. The courts have their say also and then the person will have to be sworn in. Now how do you reconcile this your view with your belief that Trump won the 2019 presidential elections and that Biden is an illegal president, despite the electoral body in the US, the State's executives of each state, the legislatures of each state, the US Congress and the courts up to the supreme court, all affirming that Joe Biden won the elections and Trump lost. Is this not a classic case of cognitive dissonance? I have showed you evidence of other people dying from OD just as how Floyd died. Political weight on Floyd's case was too much.Another evidence of cognitive dissonance. How does showing me evidence of other people dying from OD prove that George Floyd died of OD? Can you use another person's evidence to prove another unrelated case? Can you use someone else's medical test to treat your own? Why didn't Chauvin's lawyer present this video evidence in court as evidence of his innocence? Maybe you should present this new evidence to Chauvin's Lawyers so they can launch an appeal. Lmao. Unlike you who and budaatum who does not criticize Biden, I criticize trump and I am doing it this morning. You criticize Trump? I rather wait for hell to freeze over. Your so called criticism is against the "deepstate" and not trump himself. Trump can "grab dem by the pussy" in Broad day light on 5th Avenue, you will still blame the "deep state". I prefer DeSantis over trump, but if trump is the front runner for reps against Biden, then I will support trump. How many leftists have commited mass shootings, how many have been involved in mass suicide? How many have been involved in sex scandals, multiple marriages and divorce? It's a rarity to find a Senior Republican that had been married to only one wide. Republicanism (the US version) is for emotionally and mentally disturbed people. I am colorblind, I won't support blacks because I am black, I will support humans. You can never support blacks for any cause, expect maybe they represent white extremist views. |
JOemmy:That's the problem with igbos youths. They are forming trauma of events that didn't happen in their life time and have no bearing whatsoever on the present or future. The seem to be crying more than their fathers that actually experienced the civil war. Yes, it was a civil war, a war . Most countries have fought civil wars before, but the countries move on after the war and start rebuilding. US, UK, Germany, China, Vietnam, Rwanda, and so many others have fought bitter wars - either civil or external, but they quickly got over it. But a twenty something to forty something old igbo youth is crying over a civil war that ended 50 year ago. |
