ObiLamba:And how are you going to catch an already dead fish? You guys say the craziest thing to defend Tinubu's gaffes. You guys have better prepare for more crazy logic to defend Tinubu's dementia induced gaffes as we get closer to elections. |
ObiLamba:So you cook with live fish (and meat)? The frozen fish we all import was killed months if not years before getting into your pot of soup. |
Afamed:That's because Tinubu cannot give a 5 minutes speech (even with prepared notes) without serious gaffe. |
emerged01:That's understandable as Buhari never knew or meet Osibanjo before he was nominated vice president by Tinubu. What's the excuse of Tinubu calling the current deputy senate president (he couldn't even remember his name), the next governor of Niger Delta State? |
Benmob:If they win, shetima would the one attending conferences and giving speeches. Infact shetima would be the one ruling. |
NwaIdeato:(Mama peace) Madam Patience Jonathan is a million times more eloquent and articulate than Jagaban. |
gozmok1:Agberos, Almajiris, Boko Haram (because of Shettima), structures (governors, senstors, political big wigs), government contractors and of course INEC. If all fails, there is of course the Supreme Court judges. |
GistFullGround:What then happens if she has children for the new man? Will the children start dragging property with him. |
JuanDeDios:If the man did not make a will, how then can she argue the house belongs to her? No Nigerian culture gives a deceased property solely to the wife. children, particularly male children take precedence in sharing of properties. The court (magistrate) will rule according to the culture of the deceased husband. |
Calvary247:Move out of his father's house for another man? Which kind advice be that? He should move out for a stranger to come an claim his inheritance. |
victorVIC1:There is no society without its frustrations except utopia. The key is learning how to survive despite frustrations. Many countries are also in a worse state that it was 3 years ago. In fact very few countries of the world is better off than it was 3 years ago. UK, US and most of the western world are facing an energy crisis. Inflation is also ripping havoc on their economies. Believe Nigeria is not the worse country in the world, we are only loud at washing our dirty linen outdoors. |
abuhusna1:Get married ke? Marriage abroad no be like marriage in naija o. There you are at the mercy of women. Ordinary you look your wife anyhow, she can get you arrested. If she decides to divorce you, she keeps the house, your children and half your salary. |
Oceanjagaban:Believe me some people in the village live happier and more qualitative lives than people in big cities abroad. The kalahari bushman living in the desert with little to eat or drink lives a more fulfilling and purposeful life that someone in Newyork. Its all a matter of perspective. |
Aareona:This was one the main reason I left London and jejely came back to Nigeria to double my hussle. The loneliness and subsequent depression was excruciating. I remember going on bus round London on Sundays just to cure boredom. By then there was no Internet and calling friends and family at home was very expensive. Friends and family in London have no time for themselves not to talk of you. Nigerians make the mistake of equating material comfort for happiness, it is not. Rich people commit suicide more that people in abject poverty. In fact you hardly hear poor people commit suicide. Life is more meaningful than what you eat, drink or wear. |
Truvelisback:Good advice. First make sure you have possession of the papers. Since your mum developed the property to window level, she cannot claim the whole building. Get a valuer to estimate how much she had spent on the property. Promise to reimburse her for the money she had spent on the property. It can't be too much as it's just blockwork. I don't know if she has roofed the building yet. Then get your self a lawyer and obtain a court injunction stopping further development of the property by your aunt. Before all these leave the house as you are very vulnerable to murder. If you don't have the money to pay her use the papers to obtain a loan to pay her and complete the building. If you can't do that, sell the property and reimburse her and then use the remaining to buy another property in a less expensive location. My 2 cents. |
PHIPEX:Obi won't condemn ESN, sameway Atiku won't condemn Boko Haram/Fulani Herdsman and Tinubu won't condemn Fulani Herdsmen killing and kidnapping people in the south west. |
Franky9584:Not just the Opium of the people, but a prison you cannot touch or feel, a prison for the mind. It turns ordinary reasonable people into mindless and helpless zombies to be exploited at will. |
Lamasta:The man's action was mild, I am sure even you cannot predict how you will react, if you catch a man on top of your wife on your matrimonial bed. Why talk only of the man's action? What about the pastors action and the wife's action? |
Lamasta:As the saying goes, all is fair in love and war. Some men would behave worse. Some might have murdered both wife and love and then face the consequences aka O.J. Simpson. Some south American cultures demand an adulterous wife be murdered by pushing a sharp stick through her virgina until it burst her stomach. Even ancient Jews and Arabs stone adulterous women to death. You think if such should take place in Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan or even kano, the woman would live to be given the opportunity of committing suicide. |
opamoses1:Don't mind them. They pick and choose what they read or hear from trump. They forget his destructive words and texts, but celebrate the sane and reasonable ones. For your information, Elon musk deleted Donald Trump's tweets attacking pence and praising the rioters before unbanning his account. |
Lamasta:So what if the man had died of shock, heartbreak or depression as a consequence of witnessing his pregnant wife being drilled on matrimonial bed. It is the same you guys that would label him simp. |
OkoRemi2023:Bola Tinubu is trying to build a Monarchy like the Al-Bashir family of Syria. If Tinubu should dare win the presidency, the Seyi Tinubu will be the next governor of Lagos after Sanwo-Olu. Then we would have a Tinubu as president of Nigeria, governor of Lagos and Senator representing Lagos Central. |
tctrills:I put crime in parentheses, meaning crime as stipulated by Twitter's rules. It doesn't matter if only 1% were interested in the polls. In every election, only those who are interested get to vote. It's undemocratic to force the uninterested to vote.I just want to point out that the 2% that voted yes does not necessarily represent the majority of twitter users. There is more incentive for Trump's supporters to vote than Trump's antagonists. Terms and conditions are meant to be changed. They are not set in stone. Even nations adjust their constitutions. Then Elon Musk should have stated the new terms and conditions on it's policy page before changing it to accomodate Trump. Finally, it is hard to say that Trump broke any twitter rule.Trump broke twitter rule not once but multiple times, and he was warned severally before the ban. Twitter did not punish Trump for disagreeing with election results, they banned him for using their platform for planing and executing a coup against the US Congress and the incoming administration. He was using social media to stop the peaceful transfer of power which itself was the hallmark of US democracy before him. It was not only twitter that banned him, but all major social media companies. He did not disagree with the elections in a democratic manner. |
tctrills:Punishment for a crime should not be a democratic process. That would be setting a very bad precedence. Besides less than 5% of Twitter subscribers were interested in the poll and 52% of that answered yes. Twitter has its terms and conditions of its use and anyone who violates those terms and conditions should be punished accordingly. With this Trump's reinstatement process, Elon Musk is telling us that he has changed the terms and conditions of Twitter usage. It means punishments for breaking Twitter rules will be by votes. I would have preferred he just reinstated Trump with a warning to decease from breaking Twitter rules again or face permanent ban, instead of democratising "crime". |
BigIyanga:My surprise is how Tinubu's supporters tried to sell tinubu as an academic genius. For someone with an academic record of a total of 4 years in dodgy US college and university. 2 years in Richard Daley College and 2 years in Chicago State University |
forgiveness:Are you insinuating that chief Gani Fawehinmi was daft for questioning the authenticity of Tinubu's certificate? He not only questioned the certificate but sued Tinubu and INEC up till the supreme court. The supreme court did not even rule on the merit of the suit but referred the case to the National Assembly, which of course exonerated their benefactor (Tinubu). Till today, Tinubu's refuses to answer questioned raised by Gani Fawehinmi concerning his certificate. Even current Tinubu mouth piece and avid defender sued Tinubu up till the supreme court and still yet failed to get an answer.
|
zztop:Tinubu studied Business Administration and management but he was hired as an accountant by Deloitte and Mobil and then rose to senior management position within 3 years, can you help explain that. Another question I would like answers to is that did Tinubu do the NYSC program or he got letter of exemption? |
LeoDeKing:The issue was not about whether Tinubu Attended Chicago State university or not, that had been settled long ago. Reno just wanted to waste his money. The main question was the qualifications Tinubu used in gaining admission into Richard Daley College, as this was the certificate he used to gain admission into Chicago State University. We were not aware of any WAEC or GCE certificate he obtained before immigrating to the US. Furthermore we would like see the documents he used to travel to the US, ie passport, birth certificate/affidavits, etc. This will kill all allegations of impersonation detractors are spewing up and down. |
Magnumproperty:Then what's the father's family name? My own mum grew up in Isale Eko and knew Mogaji Tinubu. She never knew or heard of Tinubu before 1993. |
vannessa7:Lies. Repeating a lie a thousand times does not make it true. The federal government never deprived Lagos State Government of its allocations. The Obasanjo administration withheld Lagos State Local Government allocations for about 3 years due to a dispute in the additional local governments created by Tinubu. Yaradua released the funds to Fashola all at once less than three months after taking over.
|
Daviddson:Do you think that as a 14 - 15 year old kid, you are matured enough to make critical decisions that would affect the rest of your life. At that age the government does not deem you matured enough to drive, marry, drink alcohol or sign a contract. Anyway, religions thrive by catching them very young, before their neo cortex becomes fully developed and capable of critical thinking. |
SugarGirl44:Its appalling for a Black African to have that kind of mentality. I don't mind Europeans talking like that, because self and group interest must come first. But for a person to be promoting the interest of others against his own people is sickening. Now tell me who was responsible for the hard works that built the American society today? Are you oblivious to the fact that your forefathers contributed greatly to the building of the decent society you are proud to attribute to the whites today. Are you not aware that a substantial part of the resources used in building and developing the White society (Europe and the Americas) came from your inheritance? You are also ignorant that the whites so so worship contributed to a substantial degree the political, economic and social problems were founds ourselves in today. Now I am not exonorating our own contribution to our present predicament, but you cannot overlook the contributions of the Europe and and Arabs. When there are economic and social problems in Europe and even Asia, the other prosperous European and the US take Themas in refugees and economic migrants, but when it's black Africa, we are treated like vermins. |
