In a nuclear conflagration with NATO, Russia will become a nuclear waste land for centuries. Yes the remaining NATO countries will also suffer devastating consequences, it due to its shear size and spread, many more cities and people on the NATO side will survive. First of all it was world war 2, not 11.

Second, the US nuked Japan not because it couldn't defeat the japs, but because nukes would cause far fewer casualties than using conventional weapons as was done in Dresden, also because the shock and awe factor would force Japan to an early surrender and thus shorten the war and its casualties, which indeed was what happened. Remember at this point the US almost singlehandedly won the war in the East and West by arming the Soviets and the Allies.

Wrong. That was not what instigated the use of nuclear war head on Japan. By August 1945, the US was already in Japan. Japan was already defeated. The problem was that the Japanese were ready to fight to the last man. Which would have resulted in huge casualties on the US side, and catastrophic casualties on the Japanese side. The US just wanted to bring the war to an end with few casualties on its side. Besides, the US wanted to Test the bomb in real combat situation.

I I agree that our leaders could have done better, but even at that, we are still the best performing in Africa, save a few countries like South Africa and Egypt and maybe Morocco. Check how many villages have turned to towns and how many towns have turned to cities. Nigeria has the largest number of urban cities in the whole of Africa. Agreed, we should be doing better in terms of public electricity. That is due to the over centralization of electricity generation, transmission and distribution that was put in place by the military. It did not allow states and individuals to generate and distribute their own electricity. Even with the so call privatisation of the power sector, states and individuals still can't general and distribute their own power. If we were still operating the 1959 regional systems where completion was encouraged, I am certain most regions would have been self sufficient in power.

Not just today, Japan had always been more developed than Nigeria. In the 70s Japan was already an industrialised nation. Japan had achieved almost 100% literacy level by yhe beginning of the 20th century, when our own literacy level was almost zero.

Today, Nigerian graduates are moving to other countries for better life, even though they are paid less than foreigners (counterparts) from other countries simply because Nigeria is of low standard. If you don't know, you are a product of your country and if you don't aim high for your country, others won't rate you high.

That's because Nigerians want to enjoy a ready made society built on the sweat and sacrifices of others, instead of sweating and sacrificing to build out own society. We like to enjoy ready made.

Tanks - Russia had over 108, 000 tanks produced in WW2.
The US gave them a total of 15, 000 tanks.

I am very sure about that. How do you think stalin that lost so much men and material at the beginning of the invasion was able to recover and push the Germans back. The German were already at the gates of Leningrad. Even petrol to prosecute the war was provided by the British as the oil rich caucuses had been cut off. Germany ran out of petrol whil Russia had excess supply from Britain.
The US supplied Stalin with weapons and ammunition.

Every rational person knows a nuclear explosion wherever will be met with devastating consequences. A nuclear bomb exploded several kilometers above the earth fries every electronic device that is on. An EMP. Yes propaganda is a weapon of war, but propaganda cannot be sustained for too long. Evidence and truth will eventually catch up with it. Russia took much of Ukraine territory at first because it was Russia that attacked and Ukraine was not prepared for a full blown war, but in the last 6 months, Ukraine has fully prepared in terms men and materials and have now gone on the counter offensive. It was a similar situation when Germany invaded Russia in 1943, the Russians were completely caught off guard. The Germans almost took over Leningrad before the Russians reorganised and pushed the Germans back. Ironically, it was the same US and her allies that provided arms, logistics and money to help the Russians defeat Germany.

It will be difficult for Russia win this war. Putin messed up big time. He launched an invasion of another country without being fully prepared. Hitler used over 5 years to prepare Germany for his invasion. Putin felt he could take Ukraine with less than 200,000 soldiers in a "special military operation", he must be deluded. Its now that he is losing that he is calling up reserves to shore up his soldiers. Its like recruiting fire fighters to put out a fire that had already started.

Sorry to say, but speaking from personal experience, my great aunt was schizophrenic. Her first daughter died of madness and her first son died of madness. I was very close to both of them. I know 2 more of her children that suffer various degrees of mental illness. All of them were never able to keep a family. Only a daughter that I know that is stable and doing very well.
