I have always helped him in his house projects,might not be much 100k,50k,20k when need be,I never siphoned my money to myself,as a young lady I envisioned my pretty little family on my head,(3 children, handsome husband and pretty wife with a fine car living happily)

Now to the main problem,I think it all started when he told me he has seen a genuine plot of land that "we" should buy it together,I told him no,I want the land all by myself I have money to pay for it,( just want to have something tangible for myself alone) he said no problem.He sent me an account number of the seller I sent 600k to the seller."we" did the necessary documents and everyone was happy.

So even when "two have become one" you still act as if you guys are not a team ...

The only time the word "we" appeared there, it was because it was suggested by your hubby ...

So while he sees you guys as a team, you see yourself as competitors ...

Until you change your mindset, it's best you don't go back ...

I'm not trying to excuse your hubby's actions, however, if you intend to go back with this mindset of unforgiveness, disunity and distrust, just be prepared for everyday quarrel ...

And that too will affect your kids ...

Thanks my brother for having the correct perspective. Most people supporting the spoilt brat of a lady don't understand the meaning of the word marriage. A man that courted you for years and paid your bride price, a man that build a house and made your the lady of the manor, a man that provided love and security for you and your child, you are angry to the point of separation just because of N200,000. Not that he even stole the N200,000, but it was for a land he helped you buy. Not that he spent the N200,000 on a mistress or girlfriend, he probably spent the money on you and the home. The lady does not deserve this man. If I am the mans relation, I will advice him to get a divorce ASAP. This woman is just too selfish. It's always about me, myself and I with her.
Now why will die want to build a house all for herself? Does she plan to leave their family house in the near future?

I think the lady has it too easy with life and is looking for some life's challenges. It's her mates that are singing " jehovah take me to my hisbands house", while she has a rich and loving husbands at such young age. After 10 years as a single mother of 2 children, she will know what's up.

I went to the headquarters of a popular church in Abuja for a Thanksgiving Service. After the church service, there was a reception where there was an assorted alcohol on the list.

To my surprise, some of the clerics were served alcoholic drinks and they gladly indulged.

I am a born-again Christian because of my staunch faith in Christ Jesus and I also drink alcohol moderately. I don't believe I am morally wrong.

Drinking of alcohol was never forbidden by Christ himself. In fact the very first miracle he performed was turning water into wine (although new age born again Christians lie that it was fruit juice and not fermented and distilled fruit juice), forgetting that technology for stoping fermentation of fruit juice is very recent).

In fact Jesus incorporated drinking of wine as a part of Christian communion as recorded in the last supper.
What the Bible preached against was drunkingness.

You just can't start manufacturing without first putting the necessary factors to support the manufacturing. When you look at factors of production in economics 101, the first and most important thing is Land. The land use act of 1978 and antithetical to agriculture and manufacturing.

Secondly, you need to have a local and reliable source of raw materials. No use using foreign exchange to import raw materials at exorbitant rate when we have them in abundance here. We lack the equipment and manpower to mine and process raw materials for productive base. Furthermore our agricultural and processing sector is still rudimentary and cannot provide source of primary raw materials.

Thirdly capital, our interest rate regime of 20 -30% interest rate cannot start production, not to talk of boosting production. Where will entrepreneurs get the necessary capital to boost production from.

Last and not least is the state of our infrastructure- power, roads, rails, etc. How can produce with a total power output of less than 4000Mw of electricity? How can companies move raw materials to site and move finished products market given the sorry state of our roads?

We need to print money for economic development first, then we tackle inflation. You must forego one to get the other - opportunity cost.

Printing more money will not impact economic development, it will only create more naira chasing the same dollars, as we are an import dependent economy. It will only result in run away inflation. Ask Ghana, ask Zimbabwe.

It is not, no matter what you think. Even legally, where abortion is illegal, the woman can only be charged for abortion and never murder.
You either abort the process of having a baby or you birth the baby.
Even when you are installing a new app on your phone. When you press abort, the process stops and the app is not install on your phone. After installation is complete, you cannot abort anymore, you can only delete/uninstall. Same thing as murder.

I think people should show more responsibility. If you want to have sex like Guinea pigs because you can’t control your hormones at least use protection or contraceptives.

To humanist like us, a baby should the an end result of love and not a punishment for sexual irresponsibility.

When people like me advocate for abortion to be regulated and made readily available for women who carry unwanted pregnancies and don't want to carry a baby to term, religious fundamentalists insists on using babies to punish women for committing sexual immorality. This will often result in murdered babies instead of aborted babies.
Dumping newborns inside rivers, dustbins, bushes, etc is fairly common. Only a minute fraction ever gets discovered.

Having sex like guinea pigs is a basic human instinct. You can threaten with fire and brimstone all you can, it won't stop men and women from having sex indiscriminately. And forcing a woman to give birth to a baby she doesn't want will not deter woman from having sex like guinea pigs.

Most women don't even understand the adoption system or where orphanages are situated. All these hypocritical "holier than thou" people who have never donated a kobo to an orphanage are the ones to scream " why not take the baby to an orphanage"? They don't even know the direction of any orphanage, but they expect a pregnant teenager to know.

Don't mind him. The people that wrote the manifesto does not seem to understand how the Nigerian federation works. The revenue allocation formula between the 3 tiers of government is set in stone, it had already been determined by the constitution, a president cannot unilaterally change it.

All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu is considering a review of the revenue-sharing formula among the three tiers of government, if elected as president in 2023.

According to the manifesto, Tinubu promises to allocate more funds to the states and local governments to address local concerns and fulfil their expanded constitutional obligations to the people

She does absolutely nothing in my house. We took her in just to relieve her poor parents the burden of raising her and her five other siblings. She's just an adult figure that will stay with the kids when I or myself goes out. She doesn't cook neither does she do laundry. She knows how to operate the washing machine and goes on small street errands for my wife. She is not your typical house help girl

Then don't call her house help. To me house help is a derogatory term. See her as part of the family, like a guest or a distant family member.

People abroad adopt other less privileged children despite have children of their own, a good example Madonna. But it seems we are not that morally and spirituality advanced yet.

You just described what normally happens in a typical Nigeria local church bsettings. Very common here in my parish. My wife knows my stand when it comes to my house girl. You will never know that she is my house girl. A 14 year old girl. Every Saturday, I give her money and my 9 year old daughter to go do their hairs before next week Monday school. She wears nice clothes and never lacks cosmetic accessories as my wife gives her her own and other personal hygiene products.

My people, especially my Igbo women, house girls are humans and should be treated with dignity.

Why will you have a 14year old as a house girl? Is that not child abuse or rather child exploitation?

Forget hair, cosmetics and hygiene, all those are to sooth your conscience. A child should never never be a maid.

Me, I have never had a maid. I have a washing machine and the cloths that cannot be washed by the machine is given to my dry cleaner.

My wife has someone come clean my house once a week.

My wife does all the cooking (she is a caterer anyway).

Never liked the idea of a live-in house maid not to talk of a minor one.

Who is to pay for policing? Should you pay before the police investigate and prosecute a crime against you?

And most important of all, who is to pay for the country's defense? Should we all pay before the military is asked to defend you against foreign invasion?

You guys just scream "capitalism is the best" without fully understanding what you are talking about.

You have to ensure that in your capitalism, the poor masses are forgotten or over exploited.

I lived on V/I for 20 years and Ikoyi for 7 years. At no time did we carry garbage on our heads and dump by the roads side almost half a kilometer away. The Garbage collectors were late most times and garbage would pile up, but they were were operational. Tinubu did not introduce garbage trucks to Lagos.

what Cinemas were functional at the time?

There were cinemas all over Lagos from 70s to 80s. I used to go to National Theatre and the Cinema on Moloney late 70s. In fact then there were Cinemas all over Lagos, Ibadan, Warri and and Benin.

It was the advent of VHS players that killed Cinemas. It was Silverbird Entertainment that brought a resurgence of Cinemas and not Tinubu.

Lekki development started with Jakande, who opened up the Lekki-Epe corridor. Iekki phase 1 was developed way Tinubu. Maroko was demolished and converted to Oniru Estate well before Tinubu. VGC was developed way before Tinubu. So it is safe to say that the Lekki Epe corridor was an ongoing development started by Jakande and continued by subsequent governors including Tinubu. But to assign the whole development to Tinubu is disingenuous.

Give the man some respect. He has paid his dues and does have bragging rights...there's no one like him in this era of Nigerian politicians

Also give other governors their dues - ie Jakande, Marwa, Raji Rasaki, Fashola and Ambode.

Tinubu main strengths is he knows how to manipulate the political system to put his cronies and family in power. Same as Ibori. If Ibori had hounded by Jonathan not been jailed, he would have had an iron grip of delta politics, even more than Tinubu in Lagos.

How can Yorubas support the break up of Nigeria when the matter was never tabled. You guys just unilaterally declared secession and you hoped Yorubas will just pick up arms and fight for your objectives.

U can't be shouting that the bitter igbos are in Lagos when we run unitary system of govt.
Take for instance, there are not too many Scottish people in London. Why? Scotland has it own capital Glasgow and that is where her own citizens move to more.
So, Nigeria can still practice UK 4 nation system. This way, bitter igbos will stay away from Lagos and u enjoy ur Lagos.

As I said, igbos were the main proponent and drivers of the one Nigeria and unitary system. You can't be reprobating and aprobating like a pendulum and expect everyone to swing along.

You guys are only good at making noise on social media, you have not made any official proposal that anyone can look at for consideration.
