And what you call slavery is doing some of the things women do on a regular basis? When the man earns high and provides for the family, the woman does the house chores, cooks and takes care of the kids. But when the lady is the working her ass off to provide for the family and the man is asked to help get his own child ready for school or boil some water, he'll scream that he's been turned into a slave. The same thing women do everyday at home cause their higher earning husbands are out there making money is what a man would call slavery when the table is turned. I wonder if such men really expect their wealthy 8-to-6 wives to still be doing all the chores, cooking, etc. Be realistic, that's not practical. If you're so afraid of wealthy or richer women, simply don't marry one. Find someone lower than you and marry so you can lord it over her anytime, any day. But if you drop the role of being the one out there making money, then be reasonable enough to pick up something else at home. That's not slavery, that's symbiosis. Except you're saying women who do it are slaves. You say to be a woman is easy but here you are acknowledging what they do as "slavery". |
The more she loves you? Sure about that? While there's a possibility she loves you (and I wouldn't really call that stupid except you're saying you're not worthy of such love), I think the lady is probably using you to satisfy her desires/fantasies and here you are thinking you're the smart one. This whole "we're smarter than women" does not let some of you know when you're being used. It's possible she doesn't love you, so how you treat her doesn't really matter. She probably doesn't care about your love or money and just wants your body. The best way to get anything from a man is by making him believe he's in charge/control of the situation. |
FarahAideed:You have a point but the guy you quoted was also right. Only solid investments can yield such wealth. |
pocohantas:Hhmm... this is actually a good idea! It was funny how the parrot was just looking at both of us as if he was the adult in the house. |
This morning, we 'fought' over who would train the parrot. We both wanted to do it. Lol This gel wee not kill me oo [in African accent] |
haslaw:What's that? |
Yankee101:Some do love his music really. Like someone said, people come for different reasons. |
nnennachiji:That same friendliness is what takes away your freedom. Everyone thinks what you do is thier business. |
EzegeNdiigbo:Hhmm... poor African women. |
bluefilm:It has not happened. It's illogical to call out a company in the US (one of the most hit countries in the world) for taking measures to stay safe just on the grounds that your country might copy them. People (especially in Africa) are always quick to criticise and yet they have no solutions. When people were getting affected in thousands in the US, Africans couldn't care less. Some were even celebrating their downfall. And now, Americans are doing all they can to manage the situation, the same people have found their voice of criticism. Covid is a scam to you but to many families out here, it isn't. The organization said vaccination is compulsory for anyone coming into the office. That's logical. Your beliefs might make you prefer going around unvaccinated but don't put others at risk. Myself, my family and my friends are vaccinated and we're doing great. If the family doctor who has been taking care of us for as long as I can remember thinks it's good idea, it would ridiculous to reject it cause some people who can't even recognize an animal cell think otherwise. Stay safe. |
Nice. Actually, some of us go to such gatherings primarily cause they present an opportunity to network with other Nigerians in a relaxed setting. |
eniolaamos7:Yes. And I do hope it doesn't hit you as it has hit the US. However, CNN is in the US and not Nigeria. So it makes sense that they do everything possible to stay safe. |
PlanktonX:As if you're not vaccinated. The vaccines you took as a baby originated from the West. Your kids will still take those vaccines. If the West really wanted to inject something bad into your body, do you think they'd need to create a virus just for that? They're a million ways they could have done that, sir. Think about it. Vaccines have akways helped mankind. This is not the first time such restrictions are being put in place. It has happened in the past and the results were positive. Let's stop this spreading of fear. If they refuse to send vaccines to Africa, Africans would still be the ones to cry out. |
Funmilade11:Lol... Not everyone is in the same time zone. |
Yasssss! |
Breaking news, interchangeably termed late-breaking news and also known as a special report or special coverage or news flash, is a current issue that broadcasters feel warrants the interruption of scheduled programming or current news in order to report its details. -- Wikipedia |

SefunmiHookups:This is rather a curse. May he not die before his mother. |

Kennitrust:Regardless of what who commits a crime, you're just wired to blame the woman and never call out men. If it were a lady that killed a man, you'd still say "fear women". Now, a man killed a lady and the reaction is the same "fear women". Sexism makes even the smartest people look dumb. |
Eminimore:Because they are just stories cooked up for the sole purpose of driving traffic to thier sites. I don't really have issues with that, but this idea of openly promoting such dirty acts with secondary school children is worrisome. Yes, this is a fictional tale, but people actually do it and I wonder how they feel good with themselves after doing such a thing. Secondary school kids are placed in your care, you mess them up and come online to share your "achievement"? Tomorrow, you'll be the first to shout "gals of nowadays". |
Do people really sit that close to one another in a bus? |
Wow... the bear in the second picture looks like it wants to deny the attack. |
The Freezer guy that calls out pastors for allegedly scamming people is the one calling a known scammer "my brother!!!"? |
Lol... most Nigerians will go to any length to support corruption. They only fight it when the person involved is not one of thier own. |
Bigredmachine:Nobody said they are mates. But if you think taking care of the kids and running the entire home is not such a big deal, then it makes sense to say the men should assist with these to the same extent they want the women to assist with running expenses. That's only logical. If the man is too busy to assist with washing clothes, washing plates, cleaning the house, cooking, taking care of the kids, etc., then someone has to do those. That's how things are done in those homes where women work hard to bring in money. You think Nigerian men are spoiling thier women and I agree. We just have slightly different perspectives on how they do it. I think you are spoiling your women by making them house chore machines while other women are out there making money. |
Biggnn4212:I watched your vidéo. I think the dear got tired of the unserious dog. Lol Though I think the dog owner or whosoever that took the video is not really a great animal caretaker. ![]() |
Hhmm... Thanks. Just wondering, why not the first 5, 10, 15 or 20? Isn't 6 rather an "odd number"? Or they just want to make sure the US is always mentioned in everything? |
Lol... Does this really makes sense? BUA sugar is packaged in a narrower bag. |
CharisEleos:Handwriting is correct, sir. It's used not because there's legwriting but because there are other ways of writing asides the traditional pen on paper. Even a printed piece is said to be written by the author. According to Wikipedia, each person's handwriting is unique and is characterized by the specific shape of letters, spacing between letters, the slope of the letters, size of the letters, thickness of the letters, pressure on paper, etc. Google simply defined it as a person's particular style of writing and went on to give the example, "her handwriting was small and neat". |
CharisEleos:Handwriting = a person's particular style of writing. |
