gsmphoneseller:Lol... You sound like Nollywood village people. |
chatinent:Two people are going their separate ways; without any significant detail, you're already calling out women. The same woman stood by him from thier University days when he had nothing but love to offer. She's leaving now despite the presence of money and it didn't occur to you for a second that it could actually be the man's fault? Your idea of an ideal woman is the one who has no choice than to remain in the marriage regardless of whatever she might be going through? Well, that explains why African men don't like career driven women. Sadly, Anita has choices. |
SenecaTheYonger:You see how easy it is for you to focus on things you consider more relevant than human rights simply cause you're not on the receiving end? That is the problem of Africa. So we should drop the discussion about human rights, liberty and human capital development and jump to economy? Are you even reading what you're typing? Why do you people gladly look the other when others are oppressed? What do you think development/civilization is? Tall buildings and men in suits? If you were the women who are suddenly being denied the life they were enjoying just a couple of weeks ago, would you be thinking about national economy? Economy for who? For the men or the women who can't freely walk down the streets unaccompanied? Since when has the economy become more important than liberty? Why are Biafrans and Oduduwa people agitating for thier respective countries instead focusing on the Nigerian economy? Do you really need western media to get your priorities right? |
Shedrack777:Oh... I see how p-man is better than calling him dude. |
SenecaTheYonger:And this role precludes women from living like normal human beings, right? Just like Buhari believes in tribal roles and not tribal equality. Just like the white believe in racial roles and not racial equality. They all believe in roles and not equality. They dictate the roles and reduce the other party to whatever they want. And you're okey with it provided you're not the affected party. I really don't know why an African man's mind is structured to accommodate discrimination. You guys don't really like freedom and equality. You only cry out when you find yourself at the receiving end of the oppression. Otherwise, I don't know in what world anyone would ever think these laws are okay. |
It has started. |
TheSimiloluwa:So the destiny the guy is allegedly blocking is the destiny of a scammer? Dude, I know you know the difference between right and wrong. Do you really think it's right to defraud people of the hard earned money? Given the fact that you worked hard through school and you're still working hard to make it, how would you feel if someone scammed you after the whole struggle? You just graduated. You've not even given life a shot and you're already spiraling down the path of destruction. Why not capitalize on the budding computer skills? You seem very intelligent, do you really intend to waste that brain? Are you telling me that while you were in school, your ambition was to graduate and become a thief? Someone who's not courageous enough to face life but would rather shamelessly steal from his fellow men? You see how you boldly mentioned your impressive GP? That's the kind of pride and sense of fulfillment you get when you've worked hard to earn something. And it won't take long before you realize that money can never get you peace of mind. Without the fear of words, I'd tell you this; if you go on scamming people, you'd be the one blocking your destiny and not the guy you live with. |
iluvdonjazzy:Hope you pay your tax. I love Don J too. |
Auraby:Well, I was wondering the same. |
OfoIgbo:Erutpar |
phemmyfour:Isn't this an unnecessary argument? Clearly, students are not allowed to use phones while writing exams. The first thing should have been to ask him if he or the person he's buying the calculator for could substitute that with a phone. Coming with the assumption that people are stupid is already bad enough, going ahead to insult them is even worse. Let's even assume the OP didn't know he could use his phone, what stops y'all from kindly calling his attention to that? Why are people always looking for opportunities to make others look like fools? |
Freshkid201:Specifically creating a website for others to use for scamming purposes also makes you a scammer. Scammers have specializations too but they're all still scammers. Let's stop supporting nonsense. You call women all sorts of names for using thier body to make money but you've failed to realize stealing other people's money is far worse. |
Auraby:You realize his "stuff" is scamming people, right? |
When you say "do the stuff I learned", what exactly are you referring to? |
You have many girlfriends and you expect each of them to have just you? Are you not greedy? Don't other men deserve girlfriends too? She told you it's okay cause you love each other? Lol... Please, stop screaming "women". Good men find good women. You found your type. |
Nbotee:Well, I see your point. But things are not really black and white. The country has always been an Islamic nation and even the US supported outsted government did not change that. So it's obvious people are not worried about Taliban cause of Islam. People are worried about them cause of thier version of Islam. People are worried cause of thier ideologies. Everyone is making a fuss about it probably because they're old enough to remember how openly Taliban supported terrorism back in those days. America didn't just wake up and attack Taliban. They offered safe heaven to most wanted terrorists and they haven't changed any bit. Thier extreme anti human rights laws aside, making them a government and expecting other countries to work with them will be mocking the fight against terrorism. Like I said, being an Islamic country has never been the problem. We've got many great Islamic countries out there, and no one is going after them. However, Supporting/fueling global terrorism is just a no-no. Taliban taking over the government will make Afghanistan a safe heaven for terrorists and this will make it almost impossible to fish out the terrorists without a war cause they'll respond with "it's a sovereign nation". Again, the frustrated and oppressed women have no other country to run to and the kids will grow up in a country where the government openly gets or got the largest portion of its revenue from drug deals. It may all seem like an Afghanistan issue now but it wouldn't take a long before you realize it's a global issue. I'm sure no one would disturb Taliban if they agree to reassuring treaties or show any signs of renouncing terrorism. |
pocohantas:I agree with you. Converting one's earnings abroad to one's home currency is just ridiculous. It's not as if you earn in dollars and spend in Naira. The banker in Nigeria might still get more value for his money. Nevertheless, he has a point in the sense that, despite the fact that you spend almost everything you earn, these jobs ensure you have somewhere to sleep and something to eat. The western structure makes being poor much more bearable. Your second point is also very valid. Many black kids out here don't enough role models to look up to. We need more educated immigrants who are career driven. |
What kind of title is this? |
Awesome... all the best to them. |
Wow... I suppose this is good for Nigerians. They can now offer MyTV services alongside thier original plans. This must be the last card. The5DME:Buying a company that's already settled in the market is a strategy to break into the market. All MyTV users are now TStv subscribers. That's already a reasonable market share. Whatever extra features they're bringing onboard can now be evangelized by the userbase |
Speak a foreign language in like a local one month? Lol, such marketing keeps people away. |
KiNg0G:So if the OP likes sky diving, he shouldn't go for it cause it originated from the western world? Or he doesn't even have the right to like it? Are you boko harm? Lol First, you said they are amused by his clowning and now you're saying they don't care as they just want to do thier job and get paid. Do you really think the world is as close minded as you guys are? Sir, the world isn't black and white, those men see people of different races everyday. There's no logic behind the understanding that a black man doing sky diving gives the impression blacks live on trees. The US is a very diverse country with an open culture. The country thrives on importing other people's culture and making it their own. White men freely enjoy anything regardless of where it originated. People do what they like. If a black man is not sky diving, it's because he doesn't want to. It would be ridiculous not to do what you'd like to do cause it didn't originate from your side or cause you worry how you'll be perceived. Many sporting activities you do today didn't originate from Africa but it's only sky diving that matters to you? Building restrictions for yourself is the real mental slavery. This isn’t Africa, nobody really cares if you're diving or walking. Do what you want and let others do thiers. |
waveskaaya:Ok. Thanks. |
falseprophet:Freedom should be a fundamental human right regardless of sexuality but that's not the topic here. The issue with Taliban government is the extreme nature of thier version of Islam. The country will likely be another human rights abuse major point. But this aside, their unhidden support for terrorism is a major concern. You recall why they were ousted in the first place, right? They ruled Afghanistan from 1996 until 2001, when a U.S.-led invasion toppled the regime for providing refuge to al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden. Now, they are back to provide a safe heaven for terrorists. You think that's what the people want? We have many Islamic countries around the world. Being an Islamic country has never been the problem, but that's not an excuse to support terrorism. |
KiNg0G:A clown? Some of you guys always see negativity in what others do. What is wrong with cherishing something you're doing for the first time? Those guys are having fun. They see people of different colors come for this same activity everyday and they tease them while assisting them. Some would even mimick your reactions after the whole diving experience. It's all part of the fun. Being white doesn't mean you go sky diving everyday. There's always a first time and it's a moment to be cherished. I'm sure you'd be as excited if it were you doing it for the first time. Besides, not every smile from a white man is sinister, so there's no need to get bitter. |
waveskaaya:Nice. Where is this, please? |
Nice concept! Beautiful. ![]() |
nifemi25: ![]() I'm sure he lives on in your heart. A smile on your face when you think of him would do. |
finalboss:Sorry. |
Though not often, I do that anytime I visit home after staying away for long and before leaving. I also do that whenever he does something 'special' for me. My dad doesn't belong to the group of people that see emotion as weakness or a threat to masculinity but he doesn’t go out of his way to ask for hugs nevertheless. |
BigDawsNet:Thanks sir. I'm in North America. I was just trying to make a point. Thanks again. |
