Officialgarri:Lmao... it's funny how you left the Chinese man and his Igbo to focus on something else. ![]() |
Maybe cause of the way they meow ![]() |
Bigredmachine:Can we Nigerian men also split house chores with our wives? Or is it just the running expenses we want to split? |
angelfallz:You obviously missed the sacarsm. Click on the link I shared. |
seanwilliam:Yes! Like this woman who raped her three children: https://www.nairaland.com/6675825/48-year-old-man-arrested-defiling-3#104225016 |
BigYash:Are lecturers denied thier salaries when they refuse to sleep with students in Nigeria? |
GeneralPula:Did you just compare the relation between a man and a woman with that of a goat and a yam? So we should start hiding our sisters and daughters cause, like the goats, the men do not have common sense to know what is wrong or right? It's funny how you guys would go to any length to defend corruption in Nigeria. Dude, a lecturer who accepts sex for marks is not the same as a random guy who accepts sex from ladies in exchange for material items. I couldn't care less about the later but in case of the lecturer, he is corrupting the institution and cheating the system. There's nothing like goat and yam thoery here. You make a mess of your job and give the excuse of "the student approached me". Did the school employ the student or you to ensure proper flow of education? The student is a customer to the university and the education/certificate you're giving is the service/good. You don't give away your boss' items cause a customer offered sex. |
Missionaire:I am not the OP. Yes, girls make the move sometimes l, but coming to a thread created to share experiences of lecturers asking for sex in exchange for marks to tell people that it's the ladies that make the offer instead is clearly a deliberate attempt suppress the discussion and shift the blame to another party. Even a kid could see that. The comparison is not fair cause the lecturers are clearly in charge of their choices. They could decide to do the right thing and the students would have no choice than to move on. The person I quoted simply aimed at undermining the atrocities of these lecturers by giving the impression there are equally shared with the students. Such defensive comparisons are ugly and we men do that a lot as if it makes us better men. We are humans, we have sisters and daughters, let's learn to hold each other accountable and the world a better place for them. |
Missionaire:Please, I am not the OP. The guy who carefully refused to call out the lecturer but rather focus on the ladies was clearly trying to shift the blame. Even a baby could see that. We should chastise ladies but let's not shy away from holding each other accountable |
You guys can complain. Why not stick to your foofball, basketball, Netflix series, Natgeo Wild or whatever makes you happy, and let others stick to thiers? |
. |
GeneralPula:Yes, the lecturers are held at gunpoint and they don't know what to do, I suppose. Why not create a thread to ask for help on thier behalf? I wonder how you guys allows gender dichotomy to becloud your sense of reasoning. How does a student offering sex equate lecturer threatening to deny you your actual score if you don't sleep with him? The reason why things will never change in Nigeria is because some of you will always make light of any crime or offense committed by one of your own. Your politicians know this and they take advantage of this. It is no news that quite a number of male lecturers are asking for sex in exchange for marks, but you'd rather look the other way while focusing on the opposite gender. I wonder the end goal cause that's not what being a man is about. These lecturers you're refusing to call out will teach your kids tomorrow. Tadeknkeepcalm:I'm choosing to reply you despite the insults. The OP never said every lady is a victim neither did my comment argue about the possibility of students making the offer themselves; if anything, my comment acknowledged it. However, coming to thread created to share experiences of lecturers asking for sex in exchange for marks to tell people that it's the ladies that make the offer instead is clearly a deliberate attempt suppress the discussion and shift the blame to another party. Even a kid could see that. The comparison is not fair cause the lecturers are clearly in charge of their choices. The person I quoted is a man, it's very unlikely he had this experience yet he's bent selling a narrative that sits well with him. His comment was a blocker and I reserve the right to disagree with him just like you have the right to disagree with me. If you read down the thread, you'd see some other men like him who are bent on shifting the blame. So don't tell me I didn't share my opinion, my comment you quoted was my opinion just like this comment of yours is your opinion. If I have changed anyone's opinion on Nairaland in the past, would you know? If my comments offend you, you might have to live with it and try to ignore them, but if you think you have the right to quote me and write me a ted talk about how you disagree with my opinion, then don't you think I also reserve the same right to quote people I disagree with? What authority do you have to tell me to leave people and share my opinion when you're clearly not doing the same? When you quote me to run down my comment, it's acceptable but when I quote others, it's "rubbishing them". How logical. And now you think I'm out to "out-angel" you? Ridiculous. would I want to impress you on a faceless forum? I don't know you, you don't me. I don't have friends on NL. I don't remember anybody's username. I'm not following anyone and if I had my way, I'd rather no one followed me. I've changed my username several times on this platform just to avoid being known cause that's the only way I'd be able give my opinion without thinking of who gets disappointed. If I wanted likes and followers, I know where to go and what to type. And if you think anyone's comment aims at "out-angeling" you, then take that up with your conscience. |
inumidun2010:You guys are always quick to make it a gender thing once a lady is involved. More than 90% of the crimes we read on FP are committed by men but no one mentions gender. Once it's a lady, gender is remembered. Are Nigerians not tired of division just yet? You're divided along religious lines, ethnic lines, regional lines, etc., and now gender lines. God help y'all. |
Arsenate:Sorry, but I didn't just saying that based on this thread alone. I've been on NL for 10 years, and anyone who's been here for that long can testify to the fact that Nigerians gladly rubbish Nigeria at the slightest provocation. Please, don't tell me you don't know this. I know things are not working in the country but always talking I'll of one's country has never made things better anywhere. |
ifyken:Pleaee, read his post again. |
GeneralPula:And according to your genetics, it's only sex that causes saggy breasts? Dude, everything he said is valid and if you studied genetics, you already know it. You just don't want him to burst your bubbles. |
Imustnottalk:Let's not pretend as if that's not a very common joke. In fact, it's mainly said to people who aren't really ugly. |
She didn't shout at anyone. I'm sure those of you already calling her out didn't watch the video. You guys just hate successful people and can't wait to see them slip so you'd get to criticise them. |
GeneralPula:Instead of you to learn a few things, you're arguing. Anyway, it's a faceless forum with no age limit. |
writetopoker: Sixsigmahub:Lol... these ones didn't even read the post. |
Figger:Are you a virgin? If not, who would then marry the ones you've battered? |
Kennyking1234:So how then did you get to know? |
Why not just wush them well and move on? Why are Nigerians so anti-Nigeria? |
In a world where computing courses are becoming the hottest things around, someone in Nigeria is asking if the mother of computing courses is still relevant? Someone even said he's regretting going for the course. It would seem people don't even know what they're studying. I need to visit Nigeria to see why everything seems upside down over there. |
The write-up aimed at selling the impression this is a trend. They even brought in other bank related fraud cases that aren't kidnapping and delved into bitcoin at some point. But if you read keenly, you'd see only one case of kidnappers using thier bank account was mentioned. This is not to make the matter seem less serious, I'm only trying to buttress the importance of factual reporting. I hope the kidnappers are caught. Otherwise, it would be really a shame. |
AdaBekee23:I don't think you understood my post any bit. |
donbachi:Oh... so you know she's got makeup in both pictures yet you claim the only difference you see is that put on makeup in the recent pic. |
Hhmm.... but what data do you expect nairalanders to use for such ranking? We all know this is just a fruitless thread. |
donbachi:Maybe the cosmetics weren't bought with money. |
Hhmm... to be a woman in Africa... |
Hhmm... to be a woman if Africa... |
This is how you guys go around demarketing the show just for traffic. The show hasn't even started, you're already selling sex using the name. I wonder what you'd vlog about by the time you completely kill the stuff. It's all about the short term gain for you. |
