Enoch07:Lol... if football could not hinder Nigerians from discussing other issues, BBN can't even try. Just live and let live. |
Wow! This is just... I don't know. Lord! Romanoff:I think the line is thick enough for most people to see. They just delibrately pass it out of wickedness. 4reala:Of course, whenever a crime involves a lady, everyone focuses on the gender. On this same front page, we read about a man who chopped off three people's heads in Imo state and we looked for other things but gender to blame. Sexism makes people look dumb, bro. Babara1994:Lol... In your bid to call out women, you ended up sounding lame. Sir, this is not rape but though also terrible act. The only reason you'd want to term it rape is to water down the seriousness of rape on the side of men by insinuating women also have a counter crime. And I wonder why you'd go out of your way to make that argument for rapists. Being a man doesn't mean we shouldn't have conscience. |
TheWolfen:Except you're excluding Northern Nigeria, I think it would be ridiculous to slightly imply the "killing rate" is higher in the US. The reason you hear about the gun issues in the US is because, regardless of how rampant it's become, shooting someone to death is still a big deal in the country while such deaths are now considered 'normal' in Northern Nigeria. Honestly, I feel 100 times safer in the US at night than I'd ever feel in Nigeria. |
OP, in addition to the correct answers given above, I'd like to point out that the words also have different pronunciations. The "c" is pronounced like the "c" in the word "ice" while the "s" is pronounced like the "z" in "realize". I advise you to get some advice about this matter. |
Jamahyel:Nope. This is not one of those British/American differences. "Advice" is "advice" everywhere and "advise" is "advise" everywhere. ![]() |
The same product. The issue here is that you didn't get the colour you ordered, right? Were there any swatch boxes on the site for picking your preferred colour? Some sites show one picture but allow you to pick your preferred colour from a collection of swatch boxes. Others explod the colours into different images/entries on the site. Whichever, you should be given the chance to choose the product variant you want. |
If you were a lady, they would have called you an attention seeking hoe. |
Glink2018:And yet you had to quote the entire thing once more. ![]() |
Artistic. |
I'd like to believe the comments on this thread don't represent the IQ of the average Nigerian. |
Calitoscassius:Yes. But bears, being carnivores, are more aggressive, better fighters and excellent predators. Thier size, speed, strength, claws and teeth/bite force make them perfect killing machines. They effortlessly smash bones. In case you were wondering; yes, they do attack and eat lone horses. The strength of a horse doesn't necessarily make it a fighter. Horses have this inexplicable energy. They can stand for long, run a long distance with high speed despite carrying loads, have strong kicks, etc. But their muscular build-up and body structure also make them less flexible. Besides, being herbivores, they are not designed to fight/kill. |
Calitoscassius:This is only on paper. A horse has the speed of about 30mph while a grizzly bear has 35mph. This would mean bears are faster. However, this doesn't mean a bear would normally outrun a horse in a race. Horses maintain their 30mph for a very long distance while the grizzlies only reach their 35mph in the initial outburst. Like cheaters, lions, wolves, etc, grizzlies' initial outburst is amazingly fast but it would normally slow down afterwards to conserve energy. Horses are repositories of energy, they maintain thier speed for long. Bears are better built for navigation, so it would be hard for a horse to outrun one in the woods, but in plain areas, a horse is more likely to do so. |
Faber:Polar bear? |
Glink2018:Seeing that heart attacks don't just happen cause of the absence material wealth (which is were men tend to carry the burden), I'd say it has more to do with the psychological build-up of women. They are far stronger in this area in the sense that a woman could carry the weight of the world on her shoulders and still manage to hide it so well. Again, they cry whenever they want to and we all know crying helps to lighten the heart. Men, on the other hand, are told crying is for women. |
Patrioticman007:First, these men have no contact with any foreign culture that made them gay. Homosexuality is not imported from anywhere; it's been around even before the advent of white men. The Europeans only criminalized it when they came to Africa. Second, no country would grant asylum to such sex offenders. Third, raping and child abuse are more rampant in the straight community than in the gay community, so it's not tied to any set of people. I agree these men should be penalized to the fullest extent of the law, but it would be ridiculous to define the gay community by the crime of these devils. |
Kobojunkie:Ok. You win. If one's life doesn't change after attending a church for long, then he has the right to burn down the church. Cool. |
Kobojunkie:@bolded: do you know me? Have we had chat before? Do I need to be a Christian to know what the guy did is illogical? If you really believe God commanded him, then how are you any different from the pastors you're criticizing? And if you don't believe he was commanded by God, then why bring up the "if" statement just to support a lame move? Regardless of how you view this, there's nothing smart about what the guy did. He'd end up in jail and the best you'd do for him is type "nice one bro" on Nairaland. Don't encourage people to do what you wouldn't want your loved ones to get into. The guy's mental state needs to be examined. |
CharisEleos:I see your point. |
Fvckyouall:I don't think the burden of proof is on him. It's left to those calling him gay to proof he's gay, not the other way round. Besides, even if he's gay, that would be a different case cause there's no law that slightly implies you can deny anyone their inheritance cause they're gay. Finally, the law against homosexuality is only effective if one is caught in the act. |
Your neighbour was probably just worried. Maybe they were sure you were inside and it didn't occur to them you just didn't want to see the visitor. |
The person above already attacking ladies as usual didn't even attempt to answer the question. |
DAMN99:Hhmm... It's easy for us to say "nice one" online even for something we wouldn't do ourselves. After all, we won't serve the jail term with him. Except this guy gave the church some money to render him a service and can provide evidence of that transaction, there's no justification for what he did. He was willingly going to the church. He could have just stopped when he realized there was no value in it. |
Lol... it's very obvious the lady did this video to trend. I'm certain those on front page know this. But because she said something that appeals to thier ego, nobody's calling her an attention seeker like they usually call ladies. Feminism does not stop anyone from falling in love or getting married. Many prominent feminists are married. If you hate men or delibrately go out of your way to disagree with men, you're a misandrist and not a feminist. |
Discriminating against others just cause they different isn't just a Chimpanzee thing. Albinos, hunchbacks, blue eyed people, gay people, etc. all face the same thing in the human world. |
It's like everyone has had the guy. My only the concern is the embarrassment he's causing the wife. Married women are trying. |
Bigredmachine:This is as result of societal predilection for the male child. If a society has made it in such a way that only male kids inherit their fathers' wealth or encourages the boy child to travel out to make money, build a career, etc. while the girl child is expected to stay at home to learn some kitchen skills and how to keep a home, then it makes sense why people from that society perceive the male as far more important. |
adebenson155:That's because you delibrately don't want to train the boys to stop hanging thier legs. You let the boys lose, you even encourage them, and then you turn around to complain the girls' legs are getting spread apart. |
EXLOVER:Yes, and they're the ones you always see along the streets collecting bribe, they're the ones that shoot innocent people everyday, they are the SARS people that harrase innocent youths, they are the ones that sleep with mad women at night, etc. They smell and the male officers are super clean! Isn't it funny that when police men do silly things, we call out the police force and not the male gender, but once a it's a police woman, we focus on the gender? We've seen police men kill people cause of N20 and yet no one concentrates on the gender but on the terrible state of the force. You are calling out women cause you're a man and you feel it puts you in a better light, but you're only ignoring the real problem. The reason why things happen in Nigeria and everyone moves on without any solution is because you guys like to concentrate dividing lines rather than on the problem at hand. If this officer wasn't a lady, it would have been how the police officer wasn't being reasonable or maybe about his tribe, state or religion (anything that doesn't remotely connect him to you). It's like everyone is already wired to use any opportunity to score points against a certain group rather than concentrate on the problem at hand. Nice contribution. Maybe the police force would be dope if they stopped recruiting women. |
The things you guys hold on to in Africa are just... amazing? |
Jerryherd:I don't understand Nigerians. Why calling out someone who has no business with you? Learn to leave others out of your personal convictions. Provide father figure for your kids and let others provide whatever they have. It's still better to have a single mom than to have a violent home. If she hasn't been approached by a man who can assure her of a peaceful home, would she create one herself? Live and let live. |
saxha:Lol... funny guy. |
