When they kill themselves finish for north....and you think they won't come down south......

Believe it or not there are boko haram network in the south already....but we are just too blind to see
I don't know if there are 'sleeper cells' operating down south, but you're right in saying that a lot of northerners (and this includes illegal immigrants form Niger, Chad, etc) have relocated down south since 2015, and many of them have headed to commercial/industrial centres like Lagos, Ibadan, Port Harcourt, Onitsha and Aba!

Pdp zoned the vice president to South East for the coming presidential election... How many igbos would vote Pdp if the Vp candidate was replaced with someone not from South east?..

The only reason why some people are now shouting "biafra or death" or "no referendum no election " like before, is because Obi from South east was made the VP candidate of Pdp..

This is just for VP, let alone for a President.. Think about it.
A people, especially a republican and independent-minded people like Ndigbo, can never be expected to think alike! If you want to know what the overwhelming sentiment on any given issue is, then conduct a referendum? Or are you saying the issues facing us in Nigeria today (for which blood has been spilt) are not critical enough for a referendum? Ask yourself why one hasn't been granted like we've seen done in more enlightened and liberal societies!

Among Ndigbo, there are those who yearn for Biafra more than anything else, and there are those who are sitting on the fence and willing to give 'one Nigeria' the benefit of the doubt! It's largely the latter you see having interest in 2019, and unsurprisingly most of them have thrown their weight behind the Atiku/Obi candidacy. I doubt many of them would have queued up behind PDP if Atiku had picked a non Igbo.....especially if he had picked a Yoruba, ignoring the fact that the South East is a stronger Atiku/PDP base than the South West is!

Now knowing how Ndigbo have fared in the political-economy of Nigeria from 1966 to date, where no Igbo has been 'lucky' or allowed to be head of state, and other ethincities, regions and even states (like Katsina) have had a disproportionate 'bite at the cherry', are you trying to tell me you're surprised those Igbos still having some faith in 'one Nigeria' have decided to support Atikus' candidacy?

A Dullard that most of his supporters in 2015 Are regretting voting him into power
You don't know these people! You think they care about the 'little' issue of almost all socio-economic indices heading south since 2015?

This is one of the reasons i give up on Nigeria; that the more enlightened south can be held to ransom by the greedy and power-hungry northern muslim political elite who use all sorts of subterfuge and a rigged political process to cling on to power! Control of the centre is all these mofos care about! It's been like this for them since 1960, and this is why Nigeria is the joke it is today.....that its governance is in the hands of a people just not equipped to take us to the level of the Singapores, Japans and even Rwandas of this world! sad

You'd be surprised!

I wager the guy is a fulani; one of those with the mindset that Nigeria belongs to them, and that Ndigbo are a conquered people and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near Aso Rock! A huge part of their grouse with Atiku is that he picked a 'nyamuree' as running mate....same 'nyamuree' that they can't envision a life without! smiley
Politics › Re: Southeast Governors Meet Buhari Wednesday Over Infrastructure, Other Issues by Xander85: 2:37pm On Nov 20, 2018
If they're going to discuss all this stuff, then i'm struggling to know just what Buhari/APC campaigned with in the south-east pre-2015 elections! Or are they (APC) going to promise these same projects again for 2019?....That's depending on if the south-east vote APC this time around!
Politics › Re: Southeast Governors Meet Buhari Wednesday Over Infrastructure, Other Issues by Xander85: 2:29pm On Nov 20, 2018
God...how i hate this useless form of 'federalism' practiced in Nigeria, where governors have to go and genuflect before the all powerful god in Abuja! The situation is made all the more pathetic when the god is one that despises you!

Effing joke! sad

That's a little over $200 million.

So how much do they think it should cost, bearing in mind it's a airport built from scratch on marshy virgin land in which flood defences would have to be considered!

What does the Ibo nation wants?
Why agonising over what 'Ibo' want or don't want? How is it your business?

If anyone thinks Ndigbo are one of those groups that obsess and scheme how to control the presidency 24/7, then they don't know us? Those that think that way, how has their greed and thirst for power changed the fortunes of their people in particular and Nigeria in general?

There are some that have had a disproportionate chance to govern/rule Nigeria, and seeing the mess they've made of it, it's obvious their obsession about controlling the keys to Aso Rock is anything but noble!

Yet again, the first Jubril is young and the second the real Buhari looks his age. (older)

Two different nose and complexion.
I just noticed something else. Check out the trimmed and well shaped side-burn on the the face of the person in the first pic; then take a look at the second pic of the person that looks older and more wrinkled...the side-burn hair doesn't even descend as low like in the first pic, so there's nothing to trim and shape with clippers!

I think understands how to appeal to the Nigerian youths better than Buhari.
He keeps his ears on social media trend, and tries to blend in. This I think is winning him the hearts of many youths. Hearing from your leader always makes you feel close to him.

Well i don't know about 'slimy', but i'm with you on his naivety in feeling it's ok to form a country with bigots and primitive-minded savages! I'm cutting him some slack though, given the pan-Nigerian nature of his early years!

If the secession clause had been included in the constitution at that time, the union would have broken up within two years because there were several post-independence crises. However, I strongly believe that the clause should have been included but made terminal.

It should have been written as option of a referendum after a cyclic period not less than 30 years (for instance) for the people to continually decide if or not the union will continue.

Nnamdi Azikiwe had a vision of cohesion in Nigeria and Africa in general but he probably overestimated the situation.
The man was just too much of an idealist, and of all the three main ethnic groups it's his own people that are being cheated the most in this cursed 'one Nigeria' experiment!

In the 70s and 80s Buhari was oil minister. In the 90s he was still involved in oil industry as Abacha's PTF chairman.
Buhari returned to the industry as soon as he became president. Doubling as both the President and the minister of Petroleum.
Why is Buhari so interested in NNPC?
He wants to control it out of pure avarice and to be in a position to dispense favours to whoever he pleases! Being the de-facto minister of petroleum also helps the Arewa agenda of searching undisturbed for that elusive oyel in the north!
