balanceofterror1:Like he even cares! |
Wonder if this one in Morocco is more efficient in cost and performance than our snazzy new ones in Nigeria....ie, the kaduna-Abuja and Lagos Ibadan services? |
NaijaRoyalty:You can see it in her cold eyes! |
4dor:Don't mind him! He thinks Germany is Nigeria where he can fuc/k anyhow, give girl belle and born throway! Thing is, Nigerian boys freshly arrived in Europe are like a kid in a candy shop with all that white girl puss'y freely available, and it's a struggle keeping it zipped up in their pants....more so if you're a footballer with white girls throwing themselves at you! ![]() |
Odingo1:I think it's a normal human trait...to be scared of the unknown. Though some may want to argue true fiscal federalism and component parts controlling their resources isn't really unknown in Nigeria b'cos this is exactly what was in place before the 1966 coup! Besides, i don't think it's just the Yoruba as a region/ethnicity that's reticent about restructuring Nigeria into a true fiscally compliant federation. One could say almost every region/ethnicity besides the south-east and south-south isn't truly committed to such a monumental change in Nigerias' political-economy...and for a myriad of reasons: they still have their eye on proceeds from the sale of the hydrocarbons in the Niger Delta; they're envious of some states getting 'too much money' and outpacing them in development; they want to continue to use the present centralised set-up to hold others down while they use their control of Abuja to grab billion-dollar projects to their own regions.....and when the cheated regions complain they'd be told to quit whining and wait in line since they and their regions are second-tier/class and would only get attention after the first class regions have got first servings; they want to use the present set-up to continue hiding behind more adventurous and entrepreneurial regions/ethnicities, so when benefits are shared, they can push their way to the front to demand equal share in the name of 'one Nigeria'...and this can be seen for instance in the way VAT is generated more by certain regions/ states but shared equally among all Nigerian states; etc-etc-etc! I think Igbos and others who are bold enough to 'rock the boat' and question the present set-up should be commended and encouraged....that's if we're serious about remaining as one country and forging ahead economically like we did in the 60s! |
989900:Same thing with Zik! |
Can someone help clear up this issue? I saw Femi Adesina on the news yesterday saying there were two events that held in France, and that Buhari attended one of them. Which was it? And any pics available of Buhari with other world leaders at this event? |
3rdeyeNigeria:Well it's either that, or it's curtains on the 'one Nigeria' experiment! |
Now this is a measured and well-articulated response to the secession issue! No threats of unleashing third world war on anyone and telling them they're enslaved in 'one Nigeria' whether they like it or not! Which person that considers himself a freeborn will accept such nonsense!? Things are the way they are today in Nigeria primarily b'cos there's a certain section of the core northern elite that see Nigeria and its resources as their personal property and other Nigerians must kow-tow to their every whim and caprice! This is partly as a consequence of Islam that frowns on the religion and its adherents being subordinate to secular laws like the constitution and having to answer to non-adherents like Christians for instance! |
chris31:This is the kind of thinking that has kept Africa backward! So if he doesn't get a male child he should go and hang himself abi? |
BenzEne1:If you have any problem with Aguiyi-Ironsi, go and take it up with him! Besides, you claim he 'made Nigeria a unitary gov't', implying it's a bad thing. Fair enough! Now since he was murdered no other Igbo has been head of state of your shithole country....it's been mostly you core northern muslims, and you've had ample opportunity to rectify this problem! Why haven't you? |
He was not defeated in 2015....he was robbed! |
NLandIsHypocrit:It's click-bait! I prefer it like this, though some would argue the caption is still technically right....it's just cleverly captioned, dats all! ![]() |
EVILFOREST:......just like Jesus! |
BenzEne1:They have no reason to! They're not shoehorned into the same country with a bunch of semi-illiterates and primitive-minded, bloodthirsty savages! ![]() |
DDGN:My sentiments exactly! Personally, i see no light at the end of the dark tunnel insofar as we're still tied to the north (core muslim north), hence i've all but given up on the Nigerian project...a project started more than 100 years ago by that racist pirate Lugard, but is still crawling on the ground while our contemporaries like Singapore, Malaysia and UAE are running marathons and have left us for dust! The Nigerian political space has been taken over by thugs, moneybags and self-serving charlatans, and this prevents decent and cerebral individuals like Muoghalu, Adesina, Soludo, etc, from getting a look in! The north is only taking advantage of the schisms that exist in the south and are craftily playing one against the other while they benefit from the resultant squabbles! |
I just love this brother! ![]() |
ImadeUReadThis:They say politics can be a dirty game. In Nigeria, politics is not only dirty but it's also a stinking, diseased, festering wound that only succeeds in sinking the country further into retrogression, division and dysfunctionality! Zik -as smart as he was- should have been able to read the handwriting on the wall and should have known the Eastern Region had no business being in the same country with the West and Northern Regions! We're just not compatible, our world-views and values are different and there's just too much mutual suspicion and back-stabbing among us for 'one Nigeria' to work! It's only those who stupidly still believe in the togetherness of this country that will be surprised at the original post! If the Yoruba want to keep governance in the west in the hands of the Yorubas', it's their prerogative; but Zik should have seen these realities on ground and thought of how best to extricate his people from this hellhole that passes for a country! |
Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase 'die hard supporter'! ![]() |
SageTravels:You yourself deserve to be insulted for joining issues with these bigoted, Igbo-hating bastards! Or you think the way they all crowded into this thread at short notice to run their mouth off over Kanu and Abaribe matter is just coincidence? These fools are surrounded by all sorts of evil and wickedness on a daily basis, for which you hardly see anyone caught, successfully prosecuted and jailed or executed, yet their major problem is Mazi Kanu, Senator Abaribe and doing everything possible to continue sharing the same country with the very people they despise! Leave them to continue their wankfest over IPOB and Biafra issue! |
wirinet:Put down your 'slave-to-Fulani/one-Nigeria' rose-tinted goggles (which beclouds your sense of better judgement when it comes to Igbos and their experiences in Nigeria), and look at the issue again! You cite Catalonia as an example, and i ask: if the rest of Spain visit on the Catalonians the kind of evil and hatred the rest of Nigeria visited on Igbos in the name of punishing them for the sins of a few officers....if this happened to the Catalonians and Spain couldn't guarantee their protection from the bands of marauding killers, do you actually think Spain would see in the new year still as presently constituted? Is Kosovo whose people suffered a similar fate in the hands of Slobodan Milosevic and his henchmen still sharing the same country with the Serbs today? If Nigeria were to split today, i'm sure sensible Yoruba know what they stand to loose if they antagonise Igbos and try to do 'abandoned property part 2' on them! I'm sure it wouldn't come to that despite all your mouthing off on this thread! |
I think Benin had some of the worst inner-city roads in the country! Just what did Oshiomole do for a whole 8 years!? |
wirinet:And that would be down to the entrepreneurial spirit of Ndigbo, plus the fact that you guys fought a war to bring them back into 'one Nigeria'! If Nigeria splits today, the assets of Ndigbo in the south-west cannot be seized, as the whole world is aware of the circumstances that led to Ndigbo being forced back into Nigeria, and how just one city was -by default- made the economic and investment capital for the entire country! |
herich:Hehehehe ![]() Some are seriously salivating over this sumptuous and well-appointed mansion! Hoping they'd be the first to run and claim it when Nigeria splits! ![]() |
Diverted my gaze and scrolled past the gory pics! ![]() They should stop people from posting pics of dead people on this forum! It's only sick bastards that take pics of a dead or dying person on the street to come and upload on the net! If your intention is to help identify the individual (which i doubt) then you should only post a pic of his face...that's enough for anyone that knows him/her to be able to recognise them! |
abc115:These pics you posted for comparison purposes are doing the past administrations that completed it up to that level a favour! The major works (foundation and structural works) which gulped most of the construction costs had already been completed by 2015, and what was left was just roofing, painting, furnishing and a bit of landscaping; all which any good contractor worth his salt can do for 700 million naira max! Meanwhile, as you guys are posting this crap and expecting Igbos to jump for joy and congratulate your man Buhari, he's busy finishing multi-billion naira projects in the south-west and north as well as starting new ones! Some multi-billion naira projects where equally started by the previous administrations in the south-east, but Buhari stopped them on coming in to office in 2015, while he allowed the ones in the north and south-west to continue or started new ones. It's ok to admit Igbos deserve nothing because as Buhari said, we gave him 5%....i'll accept that and move on! But what i have issues with is when you guys act like Ndigbo have never had it so good, and under this present admin are being treated fairly and on equal basis with other regions, and hence there's no reason why we shouldn't troop out in our numbers and vote APC next year! If that man succeeds in rigging himself back in for another term next year, be rest assured that he will hold the south-east down even more than he's presently doing (giving us kobo-kobo projects just to fulfil all righteousness), while he concentrates even more billion dollar projects in the south-west and north-west in a bid to try and steal an advantage for these regions over the south-east! Only selfish, daft and gullible Igbos will vote for that man next year! |
Hehehehehe ![]() Click bait! |
IamaNigerianGuy:Hehehehe ![]() |
DogmaNation:Hehehehehe ![]() Nothing like a few hard years under a Buhari gov't to help boys start thinking straight! ![]() |
