I don't know why some people do replace the position of the Prime minister (head of government) with the ceremonial post of president Nnamdi Azikiwe (1963-1966).

Tafawa Balewa was the Prime Minister (1960-1966) from Bauchi. The post was more relevant than that of Nnamdi Azikiwe.

Moreover, where is Abdusalam Abubakar from Niger State?
I agree with you. Dr Azikiwe was a ceremonial President with no executive powers.

They include Dr Azikiwe for the very same reason they include Dr Shonekan (who was President in name only)....add as many southerners names as possible so the list doesn't look so skewed in favour of the north! shocked lipsrsealed

the governor said he is going to build an airport in Abakaliki. I don't really know about others but as for me, I feel Ebonyi should focus on building a power plant that will power, at least, half of the south east, that way, Ebonyi state will be both the power and agricultural hub of the east.
I don't think he definitely said the state government would build it. Government shouldn't be singlehandedly building projects like airports or power plants....esp' power plants where they can't generate and distribute the power to just themselves but have to first send it to the national grid for distribution to the entire country.

Even the greedy, efulefu ones that joined up with Igbo haters and oppressors in APC would have no reason to come on this forum (with all the anonymity it provides) to mock their kinsfolk and justify the trampling on their fundamental human rights. You only seeking cheap attention and I won't give you. Whether or not Igbo man once rule the country isn't a bone of contention. The bone of contention is to see the reasons why they haven't smelled aso rock in a long time and likely why they might not be able to in years to come. Now you're referring to the very first republic whilst we are here in the 4th. It has been a whopping 52years ago that an Igbo man has directed the affairs of this country, those days even when when it is not the same thing as what is practiced now that was practiced then..
If you weren't as a plank you'd have realised the joke's on you!

Ndigbo last 'directed the affairs of this shithole country' 52 years ago according to you. The core muslim north...specifically the Fulani have ruled Nigeria the most abi? Now compare the Nigeria of today whose economy has been ran aground; where individual and state-sponsored murder has become a thing to gloss over; where individuals who don't see light at the end of the tunnel see suicide as a much preferred option; where our towns and cities have become cesspits of filth and insecurity, and become the laughing stock not just of Africa but the entire world; where we perform poorly in all developmental indices known to man; where the youth would rather risk rape, slavery and even death than spend one more day in the country; and i could go on and on!....Compare all this shi't to the period Igbos directed affairs and tell me which period you prefer!

In all honesty you lot are a nuisance and a liability to any country unlucky enough to have you as citizens! You should all be given a one way ticket to hell as the country fools itself if it thinks it can witness any period of peace and prosperity with you and your 'born to rule' mentality!

You suspend your better judgment when it comes to IPOB because you know handling them within the ambit of the law and granting them their fundamental human rights would mean you losing all you and your lot have criminally acquired from the late 60s to date!

You are shameless and a leech to boot! But then again, i ain't telling you what you don't already know!

When arrogant and ignorant elements like Nnamdi Kanu were insulting the Igbo elites like Peter Obi and drawing hatred from other tribes where were you ? APGA is a registered national party and must not soil their hands with dirty tribal politics. These IPOBS miscreants were running amok in Onicha defacing a town we are working so hard to build and you think they should get a pat in the back. Today, a well respected intellectual and giant in the person of Nnia Nwodo is being insulted openly by these rogues and you kept quiet. Keep quiet if you dont know what to say. Nnamdi Kanu is nothing but a tout with education....Listen to Ike Obosi and Kingsley Muoghalu and see how they intelligently they articulated the Igbo problems...Ichee n'obu igba ile ka ukpaka!
The problem i have with you guys that are fond of criticising Mazi Kanu (and in your case, abusing him) and IPOBs methods is that you don't proffer any viable alternative that can lead to the emancipation and progress of Ndigbo, whether within or outside a Nigerian framework. Your type are exactly the sort of Igbo our traducers like: compliant; malleable; apologetic; naive; hateful of IPOB; and pro 'one Nigeria'!

One has to wonder the type of Nwafor you are when you gloss over or totally ignore the wickedness, marginalisation, murder and divide-and-rule tactics visited on Ndigbo from the late 60s to date! The fact that Buhari sent his fulani army down to the SE to murder your kinsfolk and kidnap Mazi Kanu and his parents (whatever you may think of their agitation), and you carry on with life regardless speaks volumes as to the type of 'Igbo' you are! You think we'd be here discussing this and sipping tea in a relaxed atmosphere if say a Igbo president sent predominantly Igbo soldiers to Daura or Kano to kill protesting youths in cold blood and kidnap their Emir and his parents? It's Igbo like you that give these bastards the chance to insult and look down on us as 'conquered third class citizens' who can't do diddly no matter the amount of injustice visited on them!

Igbo elite deserve to be abused! They're even lucky sef....had it been the core muslim north where they were acting out their judas inclinations and supporting the 'nyamir/i' to decimate Muslim northerners and the north, they'd have been playing their golden harp by now!

As we speak, this same north have told you to your face that you're 5% and wouldn't be treated on an equal footing with regions that supported them in the 2015 elections! They've also told you as the Anambra man you claim to be that the oyel they've been exploiting from your state for years is not of commercial quantity, hence you're not getting the 13% derivation that the likes of Lagos are presently enjoying, and that being the 'third class Nigerian' you are there's sweet fuckall you can do about it! Go figure! shocked

Anambra overdue for FG’s 13 percent derivation as oil producing state – Hostcom

A group, Host Communities of Nigeria (oil and gas producing communities), Hostcom has called for explanation over the whereabouts of the crude oil drilled from the recently discovered wells in Anambra State, saying that the state was overdue for the 13 per cent derivative from the federation account.

The group, while briefing journalists at the weekend, lamented the federal government’s stand that Anambra cannot benefit from the 13 per cent derivation as an oil producing state, because its oil was not in commercial quantity yet.

National chairman of Hostcom, Dr Mike Emuh, while briefing journalists in Awka after a meeting of the Anambra chapter of the group, said the reason for refusal to pay Anambra state its 13 per cent derivation was no longer acceptable.

“If they say the oil in Anambra is not in commercial quantity, then they should tell us what has been happening to the quantity drilled from Anambra. Even if it is one drum, we demand to know where it goes. Have they allocated Anambra oil wells to some powerful individuals? If at all oil is being drilled from Anambra, what happens to the money they sell from it? I tell you, Anambra is long overdue for 13 per cent derivative paid to all oil producing states. Even Lagos where oil was discovered just the other day is now enjoying 13 per cent derivative, so why shouldn’t Anambra?”

Emuh wondered why the federal government would dismiss Anambra’s demand for payment on the basis that the oil was in small quantity, yet foreign oil companies have rained stationed in the area, drilling its oil for years. He described the discovery of gas in Anambra as a blessing to the state, saying that while oil was fast depleting in quantity in Nigeria and the price shrinking, gas has remained high in price.

“Oil is going, and gas is coming. Gas is now the major frontier of oil business, and with the discovery of gas in Anambra, it is supposed to be a major boom for the state.”

The national president said Hostcom comprised of all host communities of fields where oil and gas have been discovered, and that its aim was to promote peace in their individual areas and engender peaceful and harmonious living between expatriates working in the oil fields and their host communities. He further tasked the federal government to consider siting one out of the 10 modular refineries proposed to be built in the country in Anambra State.

****** ****** ******

I hope you guys can see the wickedness being visited on Ndigbo that i've been harping on about?

Oil is being exploited in Anambra and is being sold, with the federal gov't obviously taking its cut if not they would have shut down operations. Now when Anambra demands for its 13%, the federal gov't that has benefited from this exploitation will turn around and say Anambra is getting nothing as the volume is not in 'commercial quantity'! You see how they use useless grammar and tricks to deny Ndigbo their due? And our useless elite are keeping quiet about it, while some are falling over themselves as they rush to go join APC...the very same group of vipers that are cheating and hating on them!

Lagos got their own 13% easy...without even breaking a sweat, but with a Igbo state suddenly the rules will change! If the volume is not of commercial quantity as they claim, then why doesn't the wicked Buhari gov't leave everything for Anambra to exploit and sell on their own?

I so hate this country, and i doubt this sentiment would change anytime soon! It's political-economy is set up to favour a few (mainly two groups) while cheating and marginalising Ndigbo!

Wat we need in Igboland is a well structured, funded and managed APGA.

Secondly, we need a militia(cult) to eliminate those Igbo people that will be used to destabilize Ala Igbo.

Igbo are money crazy and with the right amount of money, some will stop reasoning and only see the Dollar sign, so u can actually buy them to Bleep up the progress in their region.

We need a militia to take care of those.

Thirdly, we need to understand that our money is our power and that we dont need no permission from anybody to start setting up vital infrastructure required on our land.

The land is ours and the money is ours, so wat are we waiting for and whose permission are we waiting for.

Forthly, Igbo need to stop displeasing themselves to please others, we have to see things for what they really are. Me, Myself and I first all the time.

Lagos is an overrated dump that foreigners cannot wait to run from. You suffer power shortages, congested roads, lack of space.

As for Anambra the cities are still small but planning should start now before lawlessness and disorganization permanently sets in. Onitsha should be a lot better than it is.
