I have considered telling him but I don't exactly know how to approach the conversation without being rude/insensitive, I know telling him would really hurt him and I don't want that. I've also thought about learning how to live with it, because no one is perfect right? Maybe I'm asking for too much?
What's the point of telling him?
To brag about your superior intelligence?

If what you describe is correct, then that is who he is.
This will be like telling an amputee that he has no hands.
No smart person will do that.

Sometimes it is better to make your decision, act on it, and then shut up.
It is not necessary to tell people why you choose the way you do.

JustforMen:
I'd say science also requires belief.
Otherwise without belief, how could you explain the existence of the particles that exploded into the big bang.
It doesn't require belief.
Majority of the world population have not heard about the "big bang" so the concept of belief or disbelief in the
the theory is meaningless to them. For the very very few with interest and understanding of the subject, their
"belief" isn't any more than a doctor prescribing a new drug derivative.
If the same method that allow scientist to accurately predict the motion of the planet also point to a big bang, then accepting the
big bang as the current explanation for the beginning is logical.

Particles didn't explode into the big bang and nobody has definitely explained why
the big bang happened in the first place. Thus, before "the big bang" is currently meaningless to us.
Moreover, there are alternative theories to the big bang.

Mark you, I am a rational theist and I believe in science not as a substitute for religion but as a compliment.
Science has successfully explained many aspects of the universe especially the 'hardware' but religion does a good job of explaining the 'software'.
This shows you understand the purpose of science unlike those who are asking why science cannot explain why "x" which is irrelevant.

I would say it is a continuous search for truth in both science and definitely, in religion.
I don't think religion actually search for "truth" it merely declares truth.
This is obvious from the way more conservative movement or religion tend to survive much longer
than those who change the rules as they see fit.
How would a religious founder know when they found "truth" and how do we know
such "truth" applies to others?

I think religion just provides stability and structure to believers. It tells them the "whys" with confidence.
It doesn't even make sense to consider science and religion as opposites as many seem to think.

My concern with science purists is the implied notion that anyone who differs from their beliefs is illiterate or of inferior intellect.
That is somewhat correct especially when applied to those using pseudoscience or science denial to justify their faith.
The Bible never explicitly describe the age of the earth but some theists wanting to outdo science has made it their
life goals to deny any dated living thing older than 6,000 years old as fake or lies.
Isn't it apt to describe such as scientific illiterates since they have veered too far from faith and are pretending to rely on science
justify their beliefs?

Nothing is further from the truth as some the best scientific minds were also theists, infact, the best of them are.
This further shows that science requires no belief or disbelief.
We will expect the majority of the scientists in the UK to be apatheists because
of how society skew.

Also, the Nigerian scientist will be majorly theist.

The fact that there are a lot of changes going on in science shows that the "purists" aren't much of
a problem.

The major problem is the pretenders of science who spread misinformation to the largely scientifically-ignorant
populace with a view to defending their faith.

in as much as there are veritable information and discoveries brought about by science, some claims cannot be substantiated. Example of this the dinosaur era.
What do you mean by substantiated?

There are a couple of baobab trees in south Africa which are over 4,000 years old. The trees are still waxing strong. There were dangerous animals that are now in extinction but not as old as some scientists had exaggerated.
This is irrelevant piece of information.
An existing tree doesn't in any way contradict an extinct dinosaur.

Some of them out of their myopic minds posited that, when Israel left the Egypt, the red sea was shallow and that was why they didn't get drowned at the time of crossing and my question is, why did the same red sea swallow pharaoh, his army and chariots in same red sea? Till date, they've not been able to find an answer to that. I respect science which I'm a part of but some claims dont just make sense.
You are attacking a lie with another lie.
Science isn't interested in Egyptian history. It is archaeology that study human history and the current
understanding is that there was never an exodus let alone crossing of a sea.

Extraordinary bullcraps, only valid until another bullcrap invalidates the former.
Continue searching, you would never discover anything of tangible relevance to your search, you would only end up more confused and misinformed every time.
What have you ever discovered?
Nothing, zero.
Lack of inquisitiveness is actually a liability.

As a human, you would always have to believe in one shit or another, either the religious shit or the scientific shit. No side seems to be devoid of shits, except that one shit is obviously the way to go, while the other is nothing more than futile bullcrap.
Science does not require belief.
It doesn't even require your trust.
You don't need to believe that high doses of cyanide kill before it does it.
You don't have to believe that banana rots due to microbe action before it happens.
It doesn't care about your opinion or believes and neither is there a god of science
punishing unbelievers.

It's more sensible to believe the allegory of a snake talking in a garden than theories of how fish turned into man;
Fish turn into humans?
grin grin grin grin
Really?
This is one of the reasons I am against free or subsidized education.
In places such as Germany, only smart people get the tertiary government-funded education
because they believe it is better for society not to overwhelm educationally unfit students.
The others are recommended for vocational training.

It's more sensible to believe this masterpiece universe is designed and fabricated by a creative, wise, intelligent, supernatural mind than to believe it created itself and exists on it's own. More ridiculously originated from a tiny bang. You don't mean it?
It's more sensible to believe a path that tells us the purpose and future of the world, not one which doesn't know why we're here, where we're coming from and where we're heading to.
It's sensible to believe a great designer somewhere knows a lady should have two breasts, curvy figure and thinner voice, while the man should be more masculine with thicker voice. Or you mean nothing figured that out and also fabricated it?
All these are very shallow details by the way. It would take some tangible time to describe the minutest parts of life and infinite time for the whole vast universe.
It is sensible due to your early brainwashing or inability to process uncomfortable information or both.
Educating you will be like explaining electrons to a caveman.

Life is no doubt a great masterpiece of art, epitome of extraordinary creativity, climax of skillful fabrication, nexus of complex functionality and unbelievable compatibility of distinct contrasting vastness.
You have said nothing and I doubt your Adam and Eve story alone gave you the idea of this hodgepodge
of words.
I see you are trying to cover all bases because your faith can't even make a strand of wool.
So, you concede "inanimate objects" to science as if your faith can even make a membrane.

Science is only good in fabricating inanimate objects and making life better, that is where it belongs and it should strictly stick to that. But when atheist scientists come explaining cardinal aspects of life with science. I tell them, never mind, because you really suck at that.
I am not aware of any science where living things are being fabricated at least not from scratch.
Since you don't know the meaning of science or its basic purpose why would you even comment on it?

Some people would mock you for being so gullible for believing in a sky daddy, until later you realize who is really more gullible.
Again, you demonstrate utter ignorance of science.
"God did it" is never an explanation, it is a cop-out and feel-good concept for the challenged.

we are talking about physical capital. you're talking about population

how does population hinder physical development
That question has simple answers.

Physical capital can't be made out of thin air.
More population means:
More salaries to pay politicians and civil servants.
More subsidy to pay for education, health, agriculture and many others
Project money has to be shared across the board instead of concentrating on key projects.
More pressure on infrastructure which means they won't last.

Nigeria spends about 70% of the yearly budget on recurring expenditures. That is not an accident.

A country with a quarter of Nigeria's population but with similar resources and
the same level of corruption will be able to do more capital wise.

Remember, we have 20 times the population of the UAE.

Hypocrit:
in the issue of rape, the victim of the rape also matter: some are cool, wide, grieve within, tears out, ashame/shy, open/social, tolerant, intolerant, introver, extrovert. Because in our society we tend to use the initial attitude of the victim during the event to determine the outcome if it is rape or not, which is misleading to both ends; the very reason you later here some victims commit suicide after some times, while others seldomly/freely swim through the storm. But in later years these set will come to public through movitation to give their own account maybe as form of awareness or possibly prosecution (if evidence are still reachable). But as the society is a bit skewed against the women and some girls with ulterrior motive make false claims out of it, with the definition of rape less understood, everyone story is eventually trashed by mostly the guys who are the accused.
I get your point.

It is very difficult to strike a balance between protecting victims and preventing permanent
If we take every post-encounter claims as gospel truth, then, we are giving too much power to accusers.
And if we deny them outright, we are empowering rapists.

But people with power without responsibility or regulation often abuse it.
As humans, there would always be false claims and no matter how few they are, the people
on the receiving end are real people too.

I believe that narrow definitions are better for society because a pickpocket shouldn't be treated like
armed robber even though they are both criminals.

I totally support victims coming out with their stories later as it will demystify the act and encourage
victims to report rape earlier. But every case should be examined on their merit just like other crimes.

"False accusation" has a specific meaning and it does not mean "anything you don't like to hear".

Even in cases where a false statement is made, it is entirely a civil and not a criminal affair.
That is why you can accuse a politician you hate of being a thief and still be walking free.

You mumu-ishly believe that he would rape someone and announce it online.
People announce things online all the time if they feel they did no wrong
only for it to backfire. People have announced murder, kidnapping and potential
terror attack online.

I wouldnt want my wife or anyone to be raped.
We know you wouldn't want your wife to be raped for obvious reasons but anyone?
We know you don't care about any other person but yourself.

How can someone rape 24 ladies? How?
A rapist like any other criminal can rape a thousand if he is committed to it
and can get away with it.

Do you also know the number of normal folks that have forcefully penetrated them. Why dont they mention these guys as rape?
We don't know the number of abnormal folks who rape people.
You could even be a rapist yourself.
For example, how will someone mention you as a rapist when there will be no
consequence?
What we do know is that many get away with it because of no reporting
or carefully planned crime.

If the redeem girl wasn't killed, she may have not reported since she knew the rapist.
Should she share her story later, you would come out and start ranting as usual.

Once you become succesful they suddenly remember their past experience with you and try to tanish your image (Ronaldo and Neymar as a case study)
Being "successful" should not protect you from criminal consequences.
Rapists deserve whatever they get.

No disrespect to women with genuine case of rape. But i dont belive these people anymore.
You don't need to believe any case, as long as would-be rapists start thinking twice before going on the
next hunt, then the campaign is a victory.
