TribalEAST: ^^^ A.55kisser. The worst part is dat its a 17yr old's a.55 you are kissing. If you see what some 17yrs old girls carry, honestly you go fear. besides, many of them are already in higher institutions and even sexier than the so called older girls, so why are you people shouting kid kid kid? |
The flint: I'm even getting an attention from reading this thread...Sey na person wey get attention by a mere reading no go comot him Akanmu if dem rob yansh with him dick? Many NL guys are like that. |
Abu Mikey:I won't say that if I don't experience or see such thing in the parties. And i will say it again, if you focus on dancing and lyrics of the music playing, you won't get erect. |
Iaz93: Bro, you never jam better nyansh. It's simply a state of mind. You wont get erect if you don't fantasize about it. |
All these are rubbish. Life has thought me that those who takes life simple, fearless and worried not about anything lived longer and healthier. One thing everyone should know is that life itself is not fair to the weak. |
@Emmysteve, Grass cutters is more easier and less risky than snail farming? Sth! |
dayokanu: So would PDP present a candidate in Osun State when their main man Oyinlola is in APCEvery party in the merger have a right to present its candidate in accordian with sharing formula adopted by the party. |
babylolaroy: hey dude whatsup. its been long we crashed around here. hope ur good?I'm cool babe, hope you're fine too? I saw some of your latest posts in one of Islamic thread. Keep the good work! |
mobuch: He believes in spiritual forces.Since he's not an Atheist and really believes in spiritual/supernatural forces, it's no logical of him to denied God existence. God time is the best, sometimes prayers could be frustrated but God know the best. There are a lot of things that requires physical approaches or solutions but people won't accept, hence seek for spiritual solution. Who know whether your friend case is not even need a spiritual solution. |
mobuch: Hello feLlow nairalanders; i will really like to know if this god we claim is in a place called heaven exists.Do you belief in spiritual forces? Your answer to the above will give me good impression to address the question. |
henrimoto: @yemmit90... what about instances where plaintain farmers are advised to soak in hot (boiling) water the root of there suckers for some seconds before planting to the soil ? whats your opinion on this ?I've not practise that before and had never see anyone does it too. Maybe some people are doing it,I don't know. Lol@Fashola tree, you could see that I mentioned 3 segments of 3 factors in one of my previous posts for prospective farmers to takes noted. The first method of wind control is to located your farm where your plants would be protected by wind, I. e. Leave the few available trees within or around your farm. But in a situation where there's none, you can always source for those trees that grow very fast e.g cassia, guava or moringa. Update this thread next year march/april when you're about to start. Goodluck to you! |
henrimoto: @boluwajoko and yemmy90.... how do you advice one to treat the fungus disease issue that is associated with plantain suckers.? expecially when one is planting on a large scale..The possibility of experiencing such is almost zero(0.01%) if you can get Fertile land, healthy suckers and not allow weeds to overtake the plants! Infact I fear wind more than anything in this business cos it can destroy the whole farm that's why it's important for the beginners to start wind control even before he/she planted anything. For those who're going into large scale, I will advise you to do it batch by batch especially if you don't have irrigation system in your farm. Imaging you planted 1000suckers worth about 100k and it suddenly stop rainy. You know sometimes during rain season, rain do stop falling for days and the young plants needs at least few drops of rain to survive. |
@boluwajoko,good to know you're a plantain farmer. Isn't 5ft space between inadequate to maintain healthy plants and to achieve good results? I usually spaced mine at least 8ft anyway. |
Relationship Is not for the broke or jobless guys. @op, you sef dull. You don't need to ask her for money, just tell her you're broke, and if she like you she would offer to give you some money. |
ymdo: Hello everyone. Pls, I have a plot of land where I can start this business. How many suckers do u think I need for optimum production? You will need between 60- 70 suckers. |
Timijo: I advise you to get someone who will read it for you for proper understanding. The above shows how un-intelligent you are. Have a nice time! |
Blackteeth: What sort of silly thought is that? A relationship is a means of survival for ladies? Why can't they say so openly and stop pretending its about love and understanding.Cam down man! We're Africans, men are always expected to do the chase and take care of their women. On this basis, it's fundamental trait of every African woman to seek for security/protection in their prospective partners. Therefore, modern security = MONEY and POWER. So, get money/power or remain there dey complain. The choice is yours! |
Timijo: It's my pleasure to add values to people's lives.Hmmmmm, are you saying they would find husbands after following your theories or just an advise for them to be happy? |
C'noteuchay:Good to know you're a plantain farmer too. You can always process your plantain into flour and package it well. It's our plan to start making standard plantain flour in the nearest future especially when our products exceed what the market demands. Besides, why selling your plantain to the local-market women who're likely to buy it at cheapest prize ever when you can market it by yourself? Marketing is very important if you're going to make it in farming in Nigeria. Marketers makes 10x of profit made by farmers,so why will you allow these people to reap you off when you can be a producer and marketer at the same time? The best way to do it is to start sourcing for market before harvest. |
@rammytt, getting a good variety of sucker is not a problem when it's right time to do the plantation. Note; an acre of land is small for 1000 suckers as you must space them to achieve a desire result. also, make sure the materials you're reading on the internet are indigenous and not foreign, or get useful knowledge from practical farmers. @bummita, adebisiyemmit@yahoo.com @Ajayi, plantain farming consist of 3 segment of 3 factors each. Let me give you the first segment at least for now. 1. Get yourself(arable land), remember, the land must not be too waterlogged or dry. 2.You also need wind control method to avoid any destruction of plants by wind. 3. Your farm should also be located at a secure place,so that you won't get to your farm and see all plantain been cutting off by thieves. @all, please don't rent/lease lands by a mere mouth without a special/written agreement between you and your landlord or better still buy your own land. It's very risky as the owner may ask you to leave if he discover you're making huge amount of money or incessantly demanding for money. Goodluck to you all! |
@op, is your wife a pharmacist? If yes,I will advise her to go into it instead of frozen food. Though both businesses are good but pharmacy is the most profitable. And remember, good location is very important in any business. Goodluck! |
Emma Ajayi: Intend to start a platain plantation anywhere within the South West.Hello Ajayi, I'm a plantain farmer and I won't lie to you the business is highly lucrative if you have someone that would put you through. Aside the fact that you cannot start a plantain farm at this period of the year, there are various factors you need to put into consideration. Just try to update this thread when the new rainy season start approaching and i will give you one or two advise or better still search for a material on the net. Warning; you may need a practical knowledge from a reliable farmer before you start. Goodluck! |
solelymade: Sold by psycho dept, and its 2 session running now. I'm a pt2 student and i knw wat I'm saying. However, if u choose 2 photocopy urs frm som1 who brought his/hers frm d dept i cannot categorical tell wat u stand 2 lose provided u can study hard.Well, may be they just started that. During our days(part 1-4)no lecturers sold any handout to us, not even Psycho Dept you were talking about. |
solelymade: Great Ife in house, speak for ur department handouts, manuals, maaterials or anyoda name dey are disguised in, are sold in some departments. Sometimes optional and sometimes mandatory.Sold by who? I did those courses and the materials were available everywhere. It was not sold by the lecturers then, infact I bought mine from photocopier and the past questions from guy called 'Matrix Tutor'. |
boay: Thanks for thatLet be sincere with ourselves, only school authority/ management can put an end to this shameful act by their lecturers. There's little or notting students, NAS, ASUP, even NUC and co can do about it. If any external body(NAS or NUC) compel them not to sell handout, the situate will turns to what someone described in page one "the wise ones knows the best thing to do". |
@lastmessenger, it's a pity you gone through all these, how I wish I know all these lecturers and tell them to repent before it's too late for them. Next time, choose your school carefully. Throughout my days in OAU, except making of photocopy, I didn't spend a kobo buying the so called handouts. Infact my school fees is not up to what some people spent on handouts in the polytechnic. |
boay: Are you saying lecturers should be allowed to sell hand outs to students and keep the money in their own purse? Remeber these hand outs are copied from textbooks, lecturers dont have copyright on them. Is it not a way of milking students? You don't get the message, he/she was indirectly telling you that if you don't buy your handout from lecture that recommended it, you are in for it. |
@debeey87, can you please gather your brain together and stop being conservative. |
