Foreign AffairsRe: Uganda's President Museveni Explaining How The West Destroyed Africa by yemmit90: 1:53pm On Jul 01, 2023
I think it is also the West that force you to loot all resources meant for development of your country?

Useless African leaders with empty brains. Nearly all continents, including mighty America were colonised by Great Britain and other European powers, yet they've made significant progress and can compete with developed economies today.

Until we dish out the culture of greed and individual supremacy, blacks and Africa in general, will remain at the bottom of World ladder till thy kingdom come.

I tried recharging my prepaid Meter all through yesterday June 30th, all failed; maybe the traffic of panic buying of the old rate being the last day was responsible for the glitch. Woke up very early this morning to recharge and boom it went just at the 1st trial, chai!!!

I recharged 20k and I got 267 units in return. I was shocked. Usually 1500 is for the 7.5%(VAT). I quickly did the maths 18500 divided by 267.(something). So my tariff now is around 69 Naira per KWH. Mehn, cold gripped me, before now when u buy 20k, u are good for a month due to epileptic power supply. Ironically we have been having 24hours power supply, only God knows if this will last up to 3 weeks sef.

Everything is increasing except for salaries that are on stunted growth. From Fuel, that has impacted directing on food cost and transportation. While this Electric tariff increment will have a larger impact on almost everything. But we all know that the Masses will bear the brunt if it all.

Which way o? How do a common Man survive with all these skyrocketing Bills?
Maybe it been long you recharge, because what you got at 20k is equivalent of what they've selling for almost 2 months now.

Don't ever say that again.

There is no guarantee that you will make it or not even if you learn the said skill after your secondary school. Majority of those that chose the same path earlier are Okada riders today, some can't even feed their families with the said skills today.

Please appreciate your degree and use that as template to achieve more in future endeavours.

help your brother's, because the Nigerian citizen have a little mental illness when comes to developing their motherland 😜✍️
It all boiled down to our cultures and traditions. Africans and blacks in general are genetically egocentric in nature. Our innate selfish individualistic approach to nature has caused more harms than good to the blacks societies. While a white man always focus on the betterment of his society, a typical black man would rather amassed those wealth and privilege only to himself in other for his fellow men to worship him. He is naturally selfish and wicked, and derived pleasure in seeing others suffering and solely depend on him for crumbs.

This kind of cultural heritage can never take Africa and black race anywhere close to a real civilization/development in 1000 years to come.

PoliticsRe: We Will Increase Tariff From July 1 - AEDC Alerts Customers by yemmit90: 10:11pm On Jun 25, 2023
COMPAQ:
Are you considering that with 24hr electricity, bills will almost triple!? The issue is not really about 24hrs it's about paying the appropriate price for what you use.l, even if it's for one hour.

Even if they increase it to N90 per unit, electricity from a gen ranges from N250 to N500 per unit, depending on the type and size of gen.

And if you doubt my calculation, if you have a typical 3.5kva gen, that outputs about 3000watts and will last 12 hours. The 3000w is 3Kw and used for 12 hours so in Kwh that's 36kwh. If you put 20litrs of petrol for those 12 hours @ 500 per litre =N10k

So N10k divided by 36Kwh = N277 per Kwh.
You don't get the point, even 200 per unit is not too much if you can do anything with power at any time of the day. You will save more money you would've used to power your generator and filling the gas.

For instance, you can use electric cookers to cook your meals at anytime you want, you won't have to fuel your generator to watch that particular match or movie. All these save cost, you cant be paying over #100 per unit and still be spending on generator and gas. It doesn't make any sense for you to be paying through your nose and still not sure of having light at anytime you need it.

FamilyRe: What Do We Expect A 40 Year Old Man To Have Achieved In Nigeria? by yemmit90: 9:05pm On Jun 25, 2023
At 40, you must be more concern about humanity than being selfish and constituting nuisance in the society.

Anything aside that is a mere waste of energy because life has no manual or special procedure. As long as you are happy with your life, you have nothing to worry about.
PoliticsRe: We Will Increase Tariff From July 1 - AEDC Alerts Customers by yemmit90: 8:54pm On Jun 25, 2023
These people are mad, they should give 24/7 power supply first before thinking of another increment.

With 24/7 power supply and prepaid meter, people can easily afford this because the money to fill gas and fuel the generators would be channelled to electricity bills.

The only way this assumption

take profit

If you have 1 full BTC and the

take profit, immediately you
sell you no longer have 1 full BTC
It is like normal spot trading. For instance Like I said before, bitcoin shuffled between 25k and 27k on a daily basis, so If your entry is $25,200, and your exit is $26,200, Immediately you realise this, you sell to ussd and wait till bitcoin drop back to $25,200. When it back to your target, you take your $1k and release $25,200 back to secure the same 1 bitcoin.

While most alts were over 300% down, bitcoin has been so highly volatile, moving between 25k plus and 27k plus for that past 40 days.

If a trader have just one bitcoin, he/she would've making over 1k dollars everyday from bitcoin. Very easy to get daily $1k profit from one bitcoin daily even during the bear.
PoliticsRe: Presidential Election Results Refused To Upload, INEC Officers Tell Tribunal by yemmit90: 7:37pm On Jun 19, 2023
adioolayi:
Technically, all these testimonies will give a logical credence to INEC's claim of "hackers efforts to manipulate the Presidential election results, and therefore, the commission stops the uploading of Presidential election results ONLY"

Is this true or false...only INEC can answer that..

Is this excuse logical...I think it is...and if they do this, their logical EXCUSE..True or False will be superior.
Still wondering why court cannot ask each political party to present signed results by their agents at polling units and cross-check with the final results declared by inec.

Since election is being counted at polling units in the present of voters and parties agents who must have signed on the final result at every polling unit, it is only logical for them to use that to determine if there is any manipulation or not.

If inec say it perceive danger in uploading result directly from Polling units, and electoral officers at polling units claims there was network issue while trying to upload the same results, court won't have option but to reason with them and accept their hard copies.

If the opposition parties didn't have clear evidence of rigging in the results collated through their parties agents at polling units but base their petition on mode of transmission, they may have their case throw out at the end of the day.

CelebritiesRe: You Have No Right To Love Your Husband, It's An Error - Ijeoma Tells Women by yemmit90: 11:03am On Jun 18, 2023
falcon01:
as Long as they are loved, it doesn't matter if they don't love the husband?
Being submissive is only love any wise man can demand from a woman. A woman that fear and respect you will definitely give you peace of mind.

Women don't need to give love to a man but submission and respect. Aside the fact that love is an illusion, it is also not enough to sustain a marriage. The only peaceful marriage is the one that a man will sincerely love his wife, while his wife will sincerely respect and submissive to him. Two mutual loves/lovers can't sustain marriage without submissive and respect. Besides, humans are quickly subject to change, what you called love today can become hatred tomorrow.

* A woman that respect her husband will never open her legs for another man. A woman that respect her husband will never abuse or talk back to him at a slightest provocation. A woman who is submissive and respect her husband will never ever drag leadership role with him in their home. A woman that respect her husband will definitely know her husband role in the family.

* A man that loves his wife will do whatever in his capacity to make her happy. A man that genuinely loves his wife may cheat but will never abandoned his wife and responsibility at home. A man that genuinely loves his wife will never beat her for whatever reasons. A man that love his wife will loves everything about her, and will always be ready to forgive her mistakes.

A wise woman should simply go for a man who truly love and can give her and unborn kids a comfortable life and future. It is not a good choice for a woman to marry someone she love more than he does.

A wise man should instead go for a woman that value and respect him. The ones who can add value to the marriage. It is never a good choice for a man to look for love but respect and submission.
CelebritiesRe: You Have No Right To Love Your Husband, It's An Error - Ijeoma Tells Women by yemmit90: 6:36am On Jun 18, 2023
She is 100% right, a man who genuinely loves you will forever treat you like a gold.

Love can never be mutual, a partner must love one than the other, since women are always at disadvantage in relationship or marriage setting particularly in Nigeria, it is much more better to marry only men that love them.

People underestimate the power of president in a presidential system of government. I think Atiku and his comrades knows better, reason they have stylishly move on.

If PEPT give judgement against him, all he need to do is to appeal it at supreme Court and change all those in charge to his preferred judges. Case close.

PoliticsRe: Between Tinubu, Obi And Atiku Who Will Win A Re-run Election? by yemmit90:
The only time opposition parties should've seek for a re- run was before declaration of result or presentation of return certificate to the winner. An experience or smart politician know this, reason the like of Dino melaye and Orubebe attempted to stop declaration of result or winner.

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Economic Advisers Propose Customs, NIMASA, FIRS Merger by yemmit90: 10:30am On Jun 16, 2023
Senioreddy:
I really appreciate the fact that barely 48 hours of the inauguration of the economic advisory committee, they've come up with a tentative proposal to ensure growth in revenue generation.

However, I think in my own opinion, merging all these agencies/bodies into one is just too much for a single administrative structure to handle.

This is because, all these agencies are revenue drivers and they are all autonomous and as such merging them into one create a lot of confusion.

Also bearing in mind that this nation is so much endeared in corruption, a sole administrative body handling multiple revenue mobilizing agencies, the level of corruption will be mind blowing.

Lastly the red tapism/bottle necks will associated with all governmental agencies will further be multiplied.

These are just few of my concerns about the proposal. I stand to be corrected though.
Since all the agencies are revenue drivers or serves the same purpose, why do you think is abnormal to merge them together to achieve the said purpose in order to cut down the cost of carry out the similar functions?
PoliticsRe: What Will Be The Impact Of CBN Free-floating Naira Policy To The Economy? by yemmit90: 12:53am On Jun 15, 2023
savcy:
The naira eased at N668-$1at the I&E window today. I don't anticipate a drastic loss in value of the naira at all, and among many reasons, it's the fact that people don't seem to understand that no one actually knows the true value of the naira. Yemi Osinbajo mentioned once that, if export volume determined strength of currency, why didn't the naira gain value when oil hit north of $95/b. Several unconventional factors determine the value of the naira with the BDCs being the principal element in the intricate structure that's the Nigerian FX market. Artificial scarcity is another culprit. I think the market would stabilize, and if a rapid loss in value ensues, the government knows precisely what to do. All in all, as scary as it may seem, the policy is a step in the right direction.
Exactly, I don't see much problem about this policy considering the fact that the free falls of Naira in recent time were mostly artificial. Besides, genuine manufacturers and importers already got used to black markets rate of 700+.
PoliticsRe: What Will Be The Impact Of CBN Free-floating Naira Policy To The Economy? by yemmit90: 12:44am On Jun 15, 2023
Dollars are aways available in abundance, commercial banks and CBN are the ones selling to black market.

Go to any bank around Queen cinema Ibadan, you will see those Alhaji siting inside bank buying and selling forex at Black market rate. If not for their mode of dressing, you will think they are bank staffs because they enter different sections/offices at will.
