Argue with fact and stop comparing USA with Nigeria. Tell us which basic foods Nigeria don't produce or importing in abundance. Do you even know how much of metric tons of Garri, beans, yams, red and veg oils, nuts, local rice, veg seeds, animal products, etc Nigerans are exporting to Europe and US in a single financial year. Stop downgrading your country or feeling inferior, we have no home other than this country.

That is how some of you are quick to compare dollar with what people earn in Naira in Nigeria as if dollar is our legal tender.

If Japanese and South Africans are that greedy like us here by keeping dollar for arbitration purposes, their currency wouldn't have been strong against dollar despite importing more and exporting less than us.

Falling Naira reflect the present state of Nigeria economy. Take $$ out if the equation and ask how much stuff can you buy for 1000 naira? There is BDG everywhere in the world and their currencies still not on free fall.
Nigeria economy is import dependant and and as long as that remains, the value of naira will be volatile cos people will always need $$ to import basic stuff.
Another example is value of $$ to South Africa rand and Japan yen. 19 rand makes a 1$ while 150 yen makes a dollar. Japan is the 4th largest economy while South Africa is 36th. The value of a currency to a dollar is not the measurement of such currency but what the currency can buy and that takes me back to my first question, how much stuff can you buy with 1000 naira in Lagos?

You are saying what you know absolute nothing about, you can have your hair cut with 1000 in Lagos, while an average hair cut in US range from $10 - $200. You can have a moderate meal with 1000 in Lagos, you can't have the same quality of food with equivalent of $1 in USA. If we are to use your analogy and the current abnormal exchange rate to dollar, an hair cut in Lagos would goes as high as #70,000, while a moderate plate of food would go for 10,000. Besides, the two countries you gave as example imports more than Nigeria, in 2021 alone, Nigeria export goods worth about $2.2 billion to South Africa, while we only import about $570m from same South Africa. No where in the world you will see BDG operating like what we have in Nigeria. It is the work of financial experts and strictly regulated in developed countries. Have you ever ask yourself why Nigeria is strongest economy in Africa but has one of the weakest currencies in the same Africa?

Contrary to our popular beliefs, Nigeria is not really an import dependent country compare to countries that imports basically everything including foods. Nigeria produce about 90% of her basic needs especially foods. Therefore, the abnormal fall of Naira is not the reflection of our economy but artificial causation by irrational demands.

Perhaps these people read our comments on Nairaland or actually know the solution but don't want to do it.

I keep saying this since last year, falling of Naira is not a reflection of our economy but the work of ignorant saboteurs who treat dollar like gold they can keep for future gain.

The solution is straightforward, create an app or channel that importers, foreign students, and others who actually needed dollar would be coverting their naira at official rate. Do away with BDG withiout looking back.

Why would dollar be controlling our economy when we are not even among top ten countries with highest importer of foreign goods. Government should totally ban locally uses of dollar for good.

Apart from fuel imports, our imports is even very small compared to some nations doing very well..

We produce over 95% of the food we eat.

Some nations even import sand and 80% of what they eat..

We also import things other nations import at a considerate number.. (Apart from power generating sets)

The major problem is corruption, miss management and an unregulated importation system..

Also add over demand for foreign services like, education, medically, vacation, etc..

The real causes of free falls of dollar is irrational DEMANDS. Apart from Education, medical and vacations, people now save their money in dollars and subsequently creating artificial scarcity.

Solution; create an app or channel where importers, foreign Students and those on vacations will be converting their naira at official rate to carry out international transactions by virtual only. Ban locally use of dollar and do away with Bureau de change.

This is a partially false, most of the people living paycheck to paycheck are always in disarray when they lose their jobs. The citizens are paid monthly when unemployed but sometimes that money may not be enough, so they have to work to live above their cost of living. A lot of Europeans get loans for vacation, then travel. They start working to repay those loans in years or months, that is difficult as well.

Regarding pensions, It works perfectly abroad & that one I can speak for.

You actually need enough liquid cash, investments to live a safe & comfortable life. Don't let anyone deceive you with this European lifestyle. For example, most African parents who relocated don't take student loans, they pay their kids tuition fully so as to enable their kids build wealth in the future.

European system is good, but it is not perfect.

Ideally, an average human need absolutely nothing in this life but good foods, shelter and sex, which their systems has already taken care of irrespective of your social status. You cant promote the culture of wealth accumulation and build egalitarian society that is free of needless crimes, this is where Africans failed totally.

The reason you think paycheck is bad, is because you are looking forward to build wealth or living above your means. The reason you think accumulation of wealth is very important is merely because of fear of future, which is very understandable in this part of the world. Their societies are designed in such a way that you don't have any reason to accumulate wealth because you will be taking care of when you retire, and your children too would be well taking care of.

The rich among them also prioritise their societies because luxury comes with heavy taxes.

Finally, if their way of living by paycheck is not that good, then why are we living in poverty in Africa where there is no such opportunity? If their system is not that good, why are they progressing, while we that aften sees fault in them retrogressing? Why are we rushing to the same countries but fail to learn anything good from them?

I grew up hating Muslims with all my life.

At a point in time,I gradually started having more Muslim friends than Christians.

I discovered there are Muslims that are actually good people.
Then I decided that "Bad Muslims" with evil ideologies are the ones that deserve to be killed.

The university has already said they know nothing about Tinubu's certificate he used to register with INEC because it is a FRUAD.

If you completed NYSC but got someone at a business centre to make a new certificate for you it is still invalid.

What about this is so hard to understand?

The school said they don't keep their students certificates, because it is regarded as ceremonial in American system. What they normally keep in their record is student transcripts. According to them, re-issueing of certificates can be done through their third party agents or vendors.

This laterally means that the vendors has the power to issue these certificates to you in various forms since it is mere ceremonial. Any company or employer doubting about it can request for transcripts for authentication.The registrer even took his time to explain further on the issue of GENDER by stating clearly that there was no way his SSN would indicate Male from his South west college certificate and that of CSU if the person they admitted was female.
