Nice one, I hope their handlers guide them well and see to it that they get athletic scholarships to Universities in the US, for better growth as they would waste away if they remain in Nigeria after their secondary school education.
That is why your country may never move forward. You want a country you can proudly called yours, yet you want every good thing to be remove from her? Instead of you to encourage sport commission to nurture these young talents to become great athletes that will make your country proud, you are here advising their handlers to export them to USA.

The same stupid mentality that made your leaders think their homes doesn't deserve to be good but western countries.

The day Tinubu was sworn in as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he lost all his individual rights to privacy. He became a person of interest to 220 million Nigerians and a property of every Nigerian. Under the Freedom of Information Act, if I am armed with the proper circumstances, I can fly to CSU and request to see his school documents. I can request to know what he ate for dinner and report it in the news, if the people around him are not discreet enough to handle those details.

Y'all are failing to understand that every public official is the property of the electorates. It is left for him to answer to these querries through his retinue of aides. You people should stop attributing god status to the office of the President of the FRN.
You don't read my post very well, I did not dispute the fact that anyone can simply walked in CSU and inquire about his result, which I had clearly stated clearly in my previous post. Everything is wrong when you say they should release his vital documents in their possession to you.

This matter don't even need to be taking to court, just go to the registers office in the said university to confirm the geneinety of his result. That was what the likes of Reno Omokri and Co said they did, and I think it is the right thing to do instead of unnecessarily prolonging the matter in court.

Oya, let him release the academic file to Atiku na?! Very simple something.
I think the only institution that have right to seek for genuineity of a candidate result as regards to election is INEC. How can he release his result to his fellow contestants? On what basis? Is Atiku INEC or PEPT or Supreme court? Atiku can only go to CSU to confirm the authentication of his result, he doesn't have any right to demand for another person's certificate files. I will do the same thing Tinubu is currently doing even if my credentials are all genuine.

God has already given us wisdom to choose between light and darkness

You won’t vote in darkness and gaslight God to turn it to light
What if the one you think is light eventually turn out to be the real darkness? You can't be sure of anything in life, not even yourself.

Life is not 2 + 2 = 4, no matter how acknowledged you are, you can never see the future or what it entails. What do you think the others guys would've done better to rectified economic shambles left behind by Buhari in less than 6 months? I don't like to meddle in political talks on Nairaland because many people here hardly reason or patient enough to give fair judgements. I am not really a Tinubu fan, but let make peace with ourselves. Elections has come and gone, we don't need to continuously attack the system to make it worse or discredit it. It doesn't worth the energies and God giving talents that could be expended as a result.

Naira to dollar exchange rate you see today (despite being float) is not a reflection of Nigeria economy but artificial causation by unscrupulous elements within the system. It is quite unfortunate that people now treat dollars like gold that worth being kept for future gain. Alot of those mopping up available Dollars in the market has no business with it, they are just buying to keep their loots or for future gains, leaving those who actually needed it to suffer. These set of people are the real saboteurs of national economy.

For instance, the gap between AUD and USD to naira doesn't normally exceed #250, but today, it is almost double. You can see now that this abnormal surge in price is not reflection of the economy but artificial causes. Everyone want to take advance of the system to enrich themselves.

Until we put an end to Bureau de change business, Nigeria economy will continue to be dictated or at the mercy of foreign currencies particularly USD.

Mohbad is a street slang that literally means being good or exceptional in a particular thing. It doesn't mean evil.

These old men should leave this young generation alone. If they were that good during their time, Nigeria and her youths will never be like this.

Let's get some facts clear

1: Your brother owes you nothing , you owe your brother cost of rent and accomodation

2: Your Parents owe you education, shelter and welfare until you are 18, or 21 when you are legally adult

3: If you want your brother to feed you after providing you accomodations, you humbly go to him and plead...

My dear brother, kindly assist me with feeding pending the time I get something doing fetching money and I can contribute to our welfare,

4: whenever you get any Money, try and refill your brothers cooking gas, buy some spaghetti or noddles, or Golden penny Semo, Vegetables Oil and present it to your brother

Now I want you to surprise your brother this Weekend for Saturday morning

Buy

Ugwu #50,
Okro #100
Okporoko #150
Ponmo #200
Ogbono #50
Cray Fish #100
Dry pepper #100
Onions #100
Locust bean #50
Buy Garri #200 or Fufu

That is roughly 1000 Naira

Cook Eba and Okro soup for your brother tomorrow morning and serve him

.
Instead of you to ask him if his brother is capable of feeding extra mouth, you are here telling him he owe him nothing. This is the same self centered behaviour that made Nigeria remain backwards. If you can't help your blood brother in time of need, is it total strangers you will have feelings for when you attain position of authority. This is what have been happening with our leaders, they have the same mentality of owning anyone nothing but themselves.

Will you say the same thing if the said brother got sick and his junior brother watch him die doing nothing? Do you ever think that the same brother might also need his help in future? Let stop this foolish selfish attitude to make our society works. The only person that should not help those around him are people that don't have the capacity to do so.

If we had to implement such a project today, we would not believe in our capacity to do it.

We would be looking for China or Julius Berger to do it, and we would be ready to pay them billions of dollars.

Such is the damage that colonial rule did to our sense of confidence in our capacity as a people.

This wall was built long before the Industrial Revolution of the 18th century.

They did not use any machines at all (at least none that we know of. Maybe they invented something they used, who knows? Do we research our history?)

But today, if we want to build a COMMON RAILWAY LINE, we call the Chinese.

We want to build an expressway, we call Julius Berger.

We want to build an airport or shopping mall, we call China.

I mean, we need to snap out of it, and become MEN again.

Just like our illustrious ancestors.
Sorry it is too late now, not after about three centuries this development has been interrupted. Those who can build such like our ancestors are no longer in existence.

PoliticsRe: Why Is It Difficult For Politicians To Replicate In Nigeria What They See Abroad by yemmit90: 5:28pm On Sep 20, 2023
1. Irrational/insatiable greed that is living in every soul in Nigeria. People are self centered, egocentric and wicked. A typical Nigerian will rather keep money meant for development of his country for his/her next fourth generations.

2. Cultural value: our traditions does not support equality, hence people, including our leaders are only looking for ways to make others worship them.

3. Lack of foresight: This totally boil down to our mental capacity. We may not want to accept this, but we are naturally not gifted with Liberal minds. We are narrow minded beings, capable of develop individually but not collectively. Our individualistic approach to life or nature are the reason Nigeria or Africa will remain at the bottom of ladder in the world.

To assist incoming generations, the privilege to acquire more than what you can use must be remove from individuals accross African continent. 70% of public fund being stolen so far in Nigeria were spent on acquisition of various properties. A man must not have more than a house, and the quality of that house much be according to your income. Also, a "one man businesses" must be eradicated. If you want to do a business, buy shares in big businesses or form one with others. Hevy taxes must be place on luxury, particularly on vehicles, private jets, yacht and many other. Free houses and stipend must be provided for destitutes and unemployed. Moral lessons must be included in our primary and secondary schools curriculums. Children must be taught early that the only thing they needed in life are integrity, good food and sex.

If we can do this for them, the quality of life of next generation will be much more better than us.

Out cultures and traditions will never promote any single development in the next 5 centuries. Disintegration won't help us because the humans intellectual capacity to rescue the country is not in existence.

Humans intellectual capacity I meant is not the same as being educated, it is the innate wisdom to see one society as a basis or antecedents to individual development. It is ability to see life as vanity or what you should enjoy collectively. It is ability to see humans as nature and not instruments of nature. It is quite unfortunate that black race did not processed this innate gifts from their maker. When the likes of Plato, Aristotle, Thomas Hobbe, John lock, down to Lenin were seriously fighting the disparity and humans excess in their respective states, our African greates were busy promoting culture of greed, dominace and slavery.

Here is what Obasanjo said;

What did he say that is off? If the governor was there, won't they all stand up and greet him? Remember the only person with a higher order of protocol than a former president is the current president.

Yes, Obasanjo was just being brash. Maybe he was annoyed that he was not recognised when he came up to speak. Maybe non of the obas came yo greet him.
Please don't say what you don't know, Yoruba obas, especially first class Kings don't stand up from their seats to greet governors or president except where the Kings involves just arrive and meet them on the seat. We all know even local government chairmen are above them but we respect the thrones and subsequently the Kings. The same obj that have postrated for Kings countless time when he was in power is now telling them to stand up and gree him. The man is just being bitter or probably affected by old age.

If that was the case, those Obas would've stood up even before being reminded by arrogant OBJ.

There is big difference between using constituted authority to remove monarchs and humiliating them in public. What Obasanjo did was wrong, Yoruba only respect the thrones that these individual Obas occupied and not their personality.

I blame those Obas for allowing him to insult them like that.

Yeye, I will give you facts.

Tell me how did he crash Nitel? Was it even efficient before he came on board? Nitel or Mtel or whatever the fvck they called themselves simply went out of business because they couldn't keep up with the pace of the new entrants.

Obasanjo was a pure capitalist who knew government has no business being in business. And that is what he did effectively.

The Nitel then that was like current day Nepa, very inefficient and dumb. They simply went off the radar when they couldn't keep up with the new pace so how is that Obasanjo's fault?

And how did he crash our refineries please I want to know? Where? When? How? Obasanjo when he was leaving in 79,we had 4 functional refineries that he handed over to shagari. It was useless Buhari when he took over from shagari started the trajectory of our wobbling refineries. Obasanjo when he was about leaving sold off the dead refineries to Dangote and Otedola to do it as he discovered the government can't and won't be able to.

It was Yaradua that reversed the sale. Dangote said it at the commissing of his refinery himself .

What about Power?. Obasanjo has handed off generation, transmission and distribution too when he was leaving, Yaradua also cancelled it and here we are. He did it the same way he did telecommunications

Even infrastructure sef. The most busy federal road in Nigeria the Lagos Ibadan expressway that the Buhari administration are fixing was even constructed by him too in 79

His only mistake was he being a dictator and an election rigger. But talking about the Economy, Nobody,I repeat Nobody has surpassed him since 1999.

Periodt!
Which economy are you talking about please? Is like some of you were still very small during his administration that made you think the hardship Nigerians are passing through started today.

The same OBJ that spent over 15 Trillions naira on electricity generation with nothing to show for it? The same Obj that the price of fuel triple during his time in power? How much were the price of goods and services before and after he left office? What is the quality of naira to dollar before and after he left office? Was he not the same man who remove history as subject from secondary school curriculum so that you won't remember his evil acts?

The problem of we youths of these days is that, we always think the past is better than today because we lack reading culture. The only difference between then and now is modernisation. Unlike today that majority of people would rather come to the cities and be jobless, alot of people back then stayed in their respective towns and villages and grow most of their foods by themselves. Their wants and needs are limited, and they were always satisfied with little they have. They have less reason to complain because most of them don't own cars or spent much on transportation. You hardly see youth lavishing away money in clubs like today. I could remember back then, almost all middle class and professionals own backyard gardens or farms where they grow basis stuffs for their family. How many people you can see doing that today.

Ok, I understand you perfectly well now, but try to remove the name BINANCE from your posts because your dealing with him was independent out of their platform. It is quite injustice to tag them on problem they know nothing about.

Something is not right about what you are saying. Binance serves as escrow between you, so there is no way he would release half of your usdt to you. The moment you click on BUY, binance will withdraw your order from merchant account until both of you end the transaction..

So there is no way he will release only half of what you order for. Perhaps you click on confirm before he release the fund, hence the opportunity to shorthand you.

Kindly check your funding wallet if the remaining is there.
FamilyRe: What Habits Did You See In Your Father And You Are Determined To Change by yemmit90: 9:18pm On Sep 14, 2023
Skyview01:
While thinking and reminiscing, I am thinking of my childhood and growing up, as kids, whenever our fatger would come back from work, we would allwys all run out of the house through the backdoor at the sound of his car horn.

The biggest reason is immediately he is stepping in, he would start complaining about things not being in their right places.
Chores not being done or improperly done, house not clean enough and he would always have something to complain about in an angry tone of voice.

I came to believe it was his own way of dealing with a stressful day at work and over time, it kinda created some tensions between us.

I told myself, no matter what, if I had my own family, no matter the stress I pass through during the day, i would never take it out on the kids or wife.

So whenever i come back from work and i see chores not done properly, my father's reaction would flash in my mind and i would take a deep breath and go the opposite directio , ask the kids and wife how their day went.
and generaly chit chat about them without making them uncomfortable around me.

At the end, I might ask my son, "sweetheart, when are you going to wash the dishes? Even at the peak of a very stressful day, I would find a way to smile and go to my room in solitude.

Secondly, shouting at the children while correcting the. My dad as a true Nigerian man would yell at a high octave while correcting us and it frequently drives me crazy as a teenager.

With my kids and family, I practice a low even tone of voice while i am angry or making neccessary corrections. I find this to be very effective as it made the kids receptive and willing to change.

The results, kids are free with me and can discuss virtually everything in their lives with me.

So, what did you see your father do while growing up you were unhappy with and wanted to change in your own family.
Lolz, marry first.
FamilyRe: I Want To Divorce And Live Alone by yemmit90: 3:22pm On Sep 13, 2023
Kobojunkie:
1. You do realize how disconnected from reality your response remains, right?
● Op is currently unhappy in his marriage and cannot wait to be rid of it. Your advise is that he remain in that unhappy marriage, funding a woman that he probably sees as part of reason for his unhappiness and chained to her for life, all while he pays for sex outside of his marriage.
● Op's wife is also unhappy about the strain on the marriage and is probably aware of the distance that has formed between them as a couple. She is also aware that once he starts cheating on her --- getting his needs met outside of the marriage-- the gap between them will definitely grow.

You claim that women are hardly bothered by what their husbands do outside of the marriage. Did your research consider that the reason many Nigerian women turn themselves(commonsense included) upside down after marriage has to do with the mental trauma that is living in an adulterous marriage?.

OP's wife is definitely not happy with the situation in her marriage and is probably already considering joining other women in praying and fasting rituals. Worse, in her unhappiness she might fall prey to one of Nigeria's many conmen out there
● Kids benefit nothing from watching Daddy and mummy live like complete strangers in the house. Studies show that the damage that kind of setting does is about the same as that a terrible divorce wrecks on them. So let's not even use kids to blackmail people into staying together in uncomfortable and unhappy marriages. undecided

How Staying in an Unhappy Marriage Can Affect Your Children

2. In all, who benefits from living in an unhappy marriage for Heaven's sake? For whose benefit is this "necessary evil" when the damage done to all involved is all but sure? undecided
I advise him base on his explanation. These are the points I could deduced from his post that made me giving him such advise.

1. I have been married to her for 10years but this problem started about 5 years ago.

2. I am the best friend to my wife and kids.

3. I love my wife so much that cheating on her will be so hard.

Now let me treat each point one after the other:

1. Why didn't she denies him of frequent sex during their first 5 years of marriage? Why the sudden uninterested in sex after 5 years of marriage? Why can't we take the issue of hormonal change due to child birth, marital stress, and some other factors into consideration before jumping into conclude that he should divorce his wife?

2. The fact that he could boldly says he is the best friend to his wife and children shows they are still very much in good term as happy family, so there is no grounds for unhappy marriage as a reason for divorce.

3. By claiming he loves his wife so much, it is good to say that his decision is solely base on external factor( what his dad told him), in which he might regret doing till rest of his life.

It was from the points above that I arrived at the advise I gave him. What he is passing through is simply a contradiction of will and desire, in which its results are usually temporal. Until he fulfilled that erotics desire that he is unable to get from his wife, he may not be in right state of mind to take a good decision.

The first advise is to use reverse psychology on his wife by stop asking for sex and be happy with her. Nothing bring best out of a woman than this. He should also try to assist her in house chores if he has not been doing that before.

The second advise is to get sex and ease off tension in his body.

I specifically gave him the second option because he is at the point of taking a decision. Besides, he seem not to have enough patient to exercise that.

Exactly sir, good women that everyone is praying for, this one want to divorce her because of her inability to match his sexual demand.
