Theunbothered:Though, i don't like involving in polical arguments on social medias because I have a future to protect. But why are you still saying he forge the certificate after the school he attended has certified to it? Don't you think it is a dubious way of taking the glory, since you know someone actually attended a school, summited a document that bears the name of the same school, clearly certified by the same school but insisted it was forged because of humans errors and physical looks can be found in any other certificate? It is so unfortunate that in 21st century, some people still think that re-issued certificate will bear the same colour, shape, logos and signatures. Something I had knew since over 20 years. I doff my hat for for you guys. Anyway, those that have wisdom, understanding and not ruled by emotional has already gave their verdicts about the issue. |
Theunbothered:You don't get the point. My point is that, people should stop assuming these old men don't go to primary or secondary schools because they could not properly trace their records. We youths may not understand this now until be grow old like them. Once the schools they attended certified their attendance, I don't think anyone need to waste time on it anymore. Power belongs to God, it gives whoever he deem fit. It is quite illogical and against the law of nature to legitimately lose a battle but cunningly wanted to steal the glory. It is needless to be seeking dubious means to attain power except when it is on the basis of proving electoral malpractice and massive rigging. I think INEC still have a lot of work to do concerning this in future. It should be their duty to verify and certified a candidate before they allow them to contest primary elections. If we don't do this, the position of authority will cease to reflect the choice of the masses. |
Theunbothered:I never picked up my original B.sc certificate till the moment. Only using 'To whom'. It is easy for me to go and collect it anytime I need it than misplacing it and be looking for affidavit up and down later in life. I have seen many mistakes in people results including that of my elder brother. Another example, I didn't do junior WAEC as it was popularly called back then, something happened to me during this period, and I had to start from SS1 class the following session at another school. The primary school I attended is no longer in existence. If I want to contest for president tomorrow, oppositions can just come up to say I didn't go to primary and secondary schools, and some of you people will believe them withiout taking time to reason. Aside that, alot of civil servants back then don't have permanent places of work like today. They post them to different location every 3 to 7 years, and these people normally move with their families to different locations that works took them to. Their children attended various schools as a result, and this could make them not to have regular school records. My point is that, it is possible for these old men not to have history of their primary and secondary school records. |
ednut1:It won't still work, it would only increase the price for bribes. Nigerians are too corrupt beyond imagination. The only way to reduce this by 80% is to remove reasons to steal. The right for luxury or private properties must be removed for Nigeria and Africa to move forward. We are naturally born that way in this part of the world. If you check very well, you will discover that 95% of those embezzled public fund are using it to acquire properties. Infact, life would've been so simple and enjoyable by everyone if we don't think of accumulating properties. This is the secrete of developed western countries. |
GeneralDae:And you think he is that daft to have summited what is not real this time around? I don't think the like of Tinubu will make such mistakes having know that there was wrong spelling in his credentials. This might be the reason he summited affidavit, because he knew the opposition will surely use it against him. |
I think I read somewhere that Tinubu only summited affidavit of his CSU certificate. If that is the case, whatever release to Atiku is of no use in the court. Besides, they can only use B.sc result to judge him since it is only credential he summited to inec. |
This is what we've been saying, for this country to move forward, alot of people especially the youths needs proper political education in order for them to know their right from their state and local governments administrators. People are hell bent in pointing fingers at FG, while the governors and local governments keep capitalising on their ignorance to continue looting the fund meant to improve their lives. Alot of them are on Nairaland, one was even saying Tinubu can make them accountable. |
EmekaStanley:Thanks for your patriotism. Simple but full of wisdom. |
ehikwe22:Ok, bye. |
ehikwe22:The basic needs of humans existence and everything needed to build both capital and humans resources are well within power of states and local governments to implement. Education, health, commerce and industry, sports, entertainment, infrastructure, agriculture, culture and tourism, security to some extent and most recently power generation are all in cucurent list. So tell me why must you always focus on federal government instead of holding your state governors and local governments authorities responsible? You talked about resources control, fine, and that is absolutely necessary to achieve true federalism but what has your governors being doing with billions of monthly allocation from federal account? Must it always be "natural resources "? What about humans and other capital resources that these highly corrupt governors failed to invest in to generate income for their states? Can federal government do anything for you withiout passing through your state governors? The last time I checked, no law has ever prevented any state governor to start a business, pay his unemployed indigenes, take care of elders and children, built affordable estates, invest heavily in agriculture for food surplus, give free health care and education. So tell me why you have to neglect those taking money from Federal accounts to cater for your needs but keep blaming the same FG? We need to thoroughly educate our youths on the important of their state and local governments system in their lives. These are the people mandated to take care of your community needs and not federal government. Infact we don't have much business with federal government. The only time we should apportion blame to FG is when they fail to give our state what it deserved. |
ehikwe22:FG has power, same with the state. Except exploration of resources, foreign policy, security, and monetary policy, many others are on cucurent list, so why are we so focus on FG, while we allow governors to hide under our ignorance to milk the country dry? |
seborrhic:Thank you sir, I love the concluding part of your post, this is the same patriotism I was talking about. |
Zupay:I understand your point clearly even before you say it, that was why I said "instead of you to encourage Sport commission". You can't have a good country if you had already concluded in your mind that things will never get better. Your voice might be little, but goes a long way to make a difference because we are on social media. Development or change start from you and I, if you don't embrace patriotism and preach to others, how do you expect things to change. I would rather prefer our sports in general to take a gradual development rout than Tobi or Okagbare to win few medias at international stage. Unlike white, our individualistic approach to life is one of the key causes of our underdevelopment. You can't continue to blame those in position of authority, while you believe not in the system. The reason our leaders continue their business as usual is because we have all agreed the system cannot be better. |
nairavsdollars:What happened to your state and local governments? Many us don't even aware that most of the things we accuses FG of are purely state and local governments duties. |
Zupay:That is why your country may never move forward. You want a country you can proudly called yours, yet you want every good thing to be remove from her? Instead of you to encourage sport commission to nurture these young talents to become great athletes that will make your country proud, you are here advising their handlers to export them to USA. The same stupid mentality that made your leaders think their homes doesn't deserve to be good but western countries. |
BoldBrainz:You don't read my post very well, I did not dispute the fact that anyone can simply walked in CSU and inquire about his result, which I had clearly stated clearly in my previous post. Everything is wrong when you say they should release his vital documents in their possession to you. This matter don't even need to be taking to court, just go to the registers office in the said university to confirm the geneinety of his result. That was what the likes of Reno Omokri and Co said they did, and I think it is the right thing to do instead of unnecessarily prolonging the matter in court. |
BoldBrainz:I think the only institution that have right to seek for genuineity of a candidate result as regards to election is INEC. How can he release his result to his fellow contestants? On what basis? Is Atiku INEC or PEPT or Supreme court? Atiku can only go to CSU to confirm the authentication of his result, he doesn't have any right to demand for another person's certificate files. I will do the same thing Tinubu is currently doing even if my credentials are all genuine. |
Taylor92:What if the one you think is light eventually turn out to be the real darkness? You can't be sure of anything in life, not even yourself. Life is not 2 + 2 = 4, no matter how acknowledged you are, you can never see the future or what it entails. What do you think the others guys would've done better to rectified economic shambles left behind by Buhari in less than 6 months? I don't like to meddle in political talks on Nairaland because many people here hardly reason or patient enough to give fair judgements. I am not really a Tinubu fan, but let make peace with ourselves. Elections has come and gone, we don't need to continuously attack the system to make it worse or discredit it. It doesn't worth the energies and God giving talents that could be expended as a result. Naira to dollar exchange rate you see today (despite being float) is not a reflection of Nigeria economy but artificial causation by unscrupulous elements within the system. It is quite unfortunate that people now treat dollars like gold that worth being kept for future gain. Alot of those mopping up available Dollars in the market has no business with it, they are just buying to keep their loots or for future gains, leaving those who actually needed it to suffer. These set of people are the real saboteurs of national economy. For instance, the gap between AUD and USD to naira doesn't normally exceed #250, but today, it is almost double. You can see now that this abnormal surge in price is not reflection of the economy but artificial causes. Everyone want to take advance of the system to enrich themselves. Until we put an end to Bureau de change business, Nigeria economy will continue to be dictated or at the mercy of foreign currencies particularly USD. |
Mohbad is a street slang that literally means being good or exceptional in a particular thing. It doesn't mean evil. These old men should leave this young generation alone. If they were that good during their time, Nigeria and her youths will never be like this. |
seanwilliam:It won't exceed 1100 before it crash back to below 900. I sold mine at 995, and I don't regret doing that or plan to risk anything above 1000. This government will do everything possible to crash the price in few days time, just like the same way they partially introduce subsidy from the back doors to stop further increment in pump price. |
ChemicalReaction:Unfortunately, his kind became liability to those they refuse to help when they got sick or enter a problem. |
MS247:Instead of you to ask him if his brother is capable of feeding extra mouth, you are here telling him he owe him nothing. This is the same self centered behaviour that made Nigeria remain backwards. If you can't help your blood brother in time of need, is it total strangers you will have feelings for when you attain position of authority. This is what have been happening with our leaders, they have the same mentality of owning anyone nothing but themselves. Will you say the same thing if the said brother got sick and his junior brother watch him die doing nothing? Do you ever think that the same brother might also need his help in future? Let stop this foolish selfish attitude to make our society works. The only person that should not help those around him are people that don't have the capacity to do so. |
englishmart:You are a liar, and liars are liable to encounter misfortune in life. |
Domaining101:In your myopic mind, that child cannot succeed in Nigeria? What is special about China that you think a woman will release her only son and probably not see him ever again? She should just find a man to marry her and move on. The child resemble Chinese, so he will definitely know how to navigate his way back to his root in future. |
Rossikk:Sorry it is too late now, not after about three centuries this development has been interrupted. Those who can build such like our ancestors are no longer in existence. |
Keaton:The dead of young people and children are usually done that way in Yoruba culture. They called it "Oku ofo", no parent wait to give beneficiary burial to their children while still alive. I have seen many cases like that including that of my sister some years ago. |
1. Irrational/insatiable greed that is living in every soul in Nigeria. People are self centered, egocentric and wicked. A typical Nigerian will rather keep money meant for development of his country for his/her next fourth generations. 2. Cultural value: our traditions does not support equality, hence people, including our leaders are only looking for ways to make others worship them. 3. Lack of foresight: This totally boil down to our mental capacity. We may not want to accept this, but we are naturally not gifted with Liberal minds. We are narrow minded beings, capable of develop individually but not collectively. Our individualistic approach to life or nature are the reason Nigeria or Africa will remain at the bottom of ladder in the world. To assist incoming generations, the privilege to acquire more than what you can use must be remove from individuals accross African continent. 70% of public fund being stolen so far in Nigeria were spent on acquisition of various properties. A man must not have more than a house, and the quality of that house much be according to your income. Also, a "one man businesses" must be eradicated. If you want to do a business, buy shares in big businesses or form one with others. Hevy taxes must be place on luxury, particularly on vehicles, private jets, yacht and many other. Free houses and stipend must be provided for destitutes and unemployed. Moral lessons must be included in our primary and secondary schools curriculums. Children must be taught early that the only thing they needed in life are integrity, good food and sex. If we can do this for them, the quality of life of next generation will be much more better than us. |
narite:Exactly! I have told/warned those on my list that Bitcoin, BNB, ETH, SOL, LIT and Usdt arbitration are the only things they should deal with, whoever shunned the advise and put his/her money in those shitty coins is doing so at his/her own risk. |
Out cultures and traditions will never promote any single development in the next 5 centuries. Disintegration won't help us because the humans intellectual capacity to rescue the country is not in existence. Humans intellectual capacity I meant is not the same as being educated, it is the innate wisdom to see one society as a basis or antecedents to individual development. It is ability to see life as vanity or what you should enjoy collectively. It is ability to see humans as nature and not instruments of nature. It is quite unfortunate that black race did not processed this innate gifts from their maker. When the likes of Plato, Aristotle, Thomas Hobbe, John lock, down to Lenin were seriously fighting the disparity and humans excess in their respective states, our African greates were busy promoting culture of greed, dominace and slavery. |
jesusjnr2020:How sure were you that she was praying or calling the name of a particular God? She might just bend her head down to catch breath or reciting another thing not relating to God. |
