With this meeting and acceptance of all of them to attend, it will be very difficult for Osinbajo to go against the will of these elders. He will eventually step down if he is not the chosen one, because Fayemi, Amosun, Bakare, just want to use their declaration to negotiate in the next administration. |

City has all the advantage to advance to final but lose it all due to too much pragmatic nature of Guardiola. With 12 minutes left on the field, the best think he could have done is to park the bus and rely on counter. The worse madrid could have done is to equalise. |

TRUE TO THE NAME OF THE PROGRAM ANCHOR HE PETER OBI THE GUEST, TURNED TO AN ORDINARY PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA. BELOW ARE SOME OF OBI'S SOUND BITES WHICH CAUTH ME SHADING TEARS AND WEEPING FOR NIGERIA. The first thing I was expecting from his agenda is power sector. Withiout fixing the power sector, there is no way Nigeria can become industrialized country, which is the bed rock for human and capital development. The focus of any government in poor nation should be on human development. You cant raise their standard of living withiout creating jobs and other social amenities for industries to spring up and not SMEs nonsense. |

Parachoko: I've never seen cowards like most Southern Politicians.
When Jonathan was contesting against Buhari in 2015, some Northern Politician in the PDP even worked against Jonathan.
Obasanjo could have worked for and handed over to a Sorutherner in 2007, but for fairness sake he didn't do that. Now that is their turn to hand over power to the South, look at the stupid excuse they have been giving.
If we continue like this, Nigeria won't go far.
It will get to a point we will have to go our different ways. The South Generate majority of Nigeria revenue, we could fight to keep our revenue but we have not been doing so.
The North Should understand we no be Mumu for South.
No one is afraid of division or war.
Go and look at how a country like Switzerland is run, they run their country through fairness and no ethnic group feel left behind, that's why the country is prospering and peaceful.
Atiku and NEF that were screaming is the turn of the North in 2010/2011 have suddenly forgotten nah turn by turn. There is an unwritten agreement that power will be rotated between the North and South.
The South does not need One Nigeria neither do the South need the North. The country is not even prospering.
If the likes of Atiku feel is their right to rule, they will rule their part of the country for as long as they want when Nigeria falls apart. ACF should rather channels their open letter to the president who is in position to end incessant killing and kidnapping by Boko haram and bandits in their region. Their immediately concern should be how to end insecurity in their region, but hell no, they wont do that. Their elites know better, with the present insecurity in the north, there is no way they will survive withiout the southern resources. If Nigeria break up today, what happened in Afghanistan would be a child play compare to what will happen to the Notherners. |

The duty of borrowing and looking for money when thing are not going well with the family belong to husband, not wife. Women are vulnerable to being use when looking for help, especially from men other than their family members or parents. Dont ever allow your wife to be in this situation.
So I blame the useless husband. |

burritto: Op is a story teller. Not true story.
If the story was actually true, I think the best the OP would have done was to make a record of the sex/moaning and anonymously send to the husband.
One thing i know for sure about this story is that either the Man kills his wife or the wife kills the husband. The story might be true initially, but this new one he came up with looks fabricated. It doesnt make any sense too, how can he call a bike man just like that withiout any evidence and not end up in police cell or got dirty slap. The best way anyone can help the man is to send him anonymous message like someone suggested to him in his previous thread. |

Until the basic needz of citizens are well addressed by government, there will always be corruption and embarrassment of government fund. If you can easily feed your family, live in better environments, and enjoy social security when you are out of job, at old age, and for your kids, there wont be any reason for you to steal for the future. This is the secrete of developed countries. |

Megabig: May greed not wreck Nigeria. When things like this is obvious, it will never be investigated. The future of our kids is at stake. Y’all becoming very tribalistic and toxic, taking the next election to be a joke, fighting over aspirants who continuously failed because you have just chosen to support your tribe or religion at the detriment of your own “pain”.
Ask yourself this simple question, what basically can I do if the person I elected into office refuses to fulfill those pertinent promises? The answer is “Nothing”… So what do we have to loose? Please elect the right people!!!!!!!!! Let’s make the right decision on who we elect while we are still together as “One Nigeria”…
Let’s stop pretending like it’s all better because we will surely face that pain squarely!!!
#NairalandBecomingToxic It is unfortunate there is no such thing like right people as far as Nigeria politics is concerned. Nigerians are good and naturally intelligent but due to poverty and uncertainty of future, we becomes corrupt and absolutely selfish, our mentality change the moment we get power and money. Let government focus on human development and see how the country will transform within a decade. If the masses can comfortably feed themselves, live in a better houses and enjoy some social securities, our mentality will definitely change for good. |

Oyetboy: I've been battling with this disease for some years now, it hasn't been easy at all, the pains are just so unbearable and anytime it starts like that all i use is pain relievers ( diclofenac, perilon etc) for the pains to relieve me, I've used google whether i can find any useful info about it but all to no avail... I'm even starting to wonder whether I'm normal cos i read somewhere this disease only affects old people and I'm not even up to twenty years of age...please all doctors and health practitioners in the house, what can I use to stop this disease? Rheumatoid arthritis is a an autoimmune disorder that is very difficult to cure. I wont lie to you, you cant cure it completely but you can lessen the effect by taken some herbs. Conventional medicine/drugs can never cure you as doctor will keep prescribing Steroids and other painkillers in which the longer you take, the less likely it is to relieve symptoms. Get a pineapple leafs and Turmeric boil and be taking the juice( 1 class cup) once daily. Bath only with warm water. Do not expose yourself to cold, it trigger the symptoms. Exercise is good but let it be moderate, too much of it can trigger the symptoms. |

It is the symptom of emotional stress, anxiety or depression.
The best way to overcome this is to re- channelled your thinking. Just believe that whatever happen to you (good or bad), is for your own good. 95% of people with this problem are introverts, so try to make new friends or join group in your community or church. Also, believe you are the best version of yourself and no one is more better than yourself. |

Like I always tells people, Osinbajo and his alignment to RCCG will only plumb this country into state of anarchy and war if he eventually become a president. Nigeria is a very diverse and complex society that need a very strong charismatic leader to handle.
The extremists and cabal has grown so big that it take a man of unimaginable courage and character to bring them into size. Cabals are not only in the government but also in the military, Religions settings, social and ethnic group and opposition parties. Osinbajo being a narrow minded person cant handle these people withiout being consumed by unforeseen circumstances.
For Nigeria to be great, this bloodshed and crisis must stop, withiout this, there is no way we can talk of economic prosperity. We dont need technocrat or professor at this junction but a well respected charismatic leader who can unify the country, stop killing, kidnapping, crisis and assembles technocrats.
It is quite unfortunate that at this present junction Buhari taken us, only Tinubu, Atiku, kwanwaso, Obj, Sule Lamido, ikweremadu, pius Ayum, can correct this Buhari mistake.. Not because these men are good or not corrupt, but for their capacity to unify already dead relationships among regions. |

But at least, the Northerners are less ignorant than your elites, including professors and governors. Less ignorant in what capacity? See, I am not an ethnic bigot, neither am I insulting Northerners, this is the reality on groung in which you and I knows. If your Governors, professors and other elites are that intelligent, there wont be religion extremists leading to terrorism but region mix with enlightenment. There wont be herdsmen but ranches. There wont be Amajiri system but a well structured universal basic education system. The problems currently facing the country was a results of long time negligent of Northers governors and their representatives at centre. |

Khaleepha5681: How and why?
Are northerners not Nigerians or what? The problem of the North is her illiterates masses. With the current problem of bandits/boko haram, backwardness and high level of illiteracy, no sane Southerners would've been clamouring for power if they were in the same shoes with Northerners. Their Elites always want power, but have nothing to do with power. |

The rich only got opportunity or better ideas to make money than the rest of the populace. They owe nobody any duty but are encouraged to do charity. And it quite unfortunate that the said super rich are the same people parading themselves as leaders. If government can provide basic need of masses, there wont be any need to worship money. |

KiNg0G: Good day all
My girlfriend invited me to her cousins birthday party that held yesterday, at first I didn't really want to go but she kept on insisting few days ago.. when she noticed I might not come, she went ahead to invite a buddie of mine who we do things together 24/7 so that guy had to press me on yesterday afternoon.
We were three who went, getting there it was filled up with lots of guys and girls... since we were invitees from her, we just sat down observing the crowd untill a girl came to bring us drinks filled our table With meat sauce..but where my girl now? she's no where to be found.. untill I saw her from afar sitting with her cousins and some other people. I wanted to go meet her, instead I called her on the phone to look at my direction where I was, she said she knew, oya come say hi.. she was reluctant to stand up to come meet me.
We ate and drank then stood up 30mins later and left the party ground, according to my guys, they said she might have some other guys in the crowd that's bankrolling her, hence the ignoring....but why did she still insist I come? Let me give you a mature advise. See in this life, things are not always what we think they are. From your narrative and the subsequent posts, the likelihood she might be telling the truth is 90%. A girl who will intentionally abandoned you in a party wont press you hard to attend. Infact she would be very happy and stopped talking about that event in your present. She is just being immature and fearful, alot of decent girls behave that way in the present of their family, because morally, she must have been rated high by them. |

You guys think Tinubu is yorubas' project, I don't blame you anyway, probably you are living in lagos and unfortunately even lagos is a dissapointment when it comes to good governance, you can imagine a state with a bigger gdp than that of Oslo and many other European cities capitals, cannot even boast of tarred roads all over , talkless of other modern infrastructural facilities,I am yoruba that doesn't make me to be blind to the truth. And with Osinbajo as the president, Lagos will be liberated from the hand of one man sitting on the destiny of over 20 million lagosians, imagine lagos Governor couldn't start and complete over 6km Road at a stretch all the roads he has commissioned are less than 7km at a stretch , is that not a shame? Whereas, akwa ibom governor commissioned over 29km of Road at a stretch recently, where is lagos money going? Ti iro balo loogun odun ijo kan ni otito maba. Mark my words or bookmark this today, if Osinbajo mistakenly become president, he would plumb this country into state of anarchy and war. Being a devoted pastor and his alignment with RCCG wont go down well with Bandit, boko haram and their Islamic extremists sponsors. No one will fear him, they will take instructions and do nothing, just like the way they are currently doing with sick Buhari. I dont even fancy Tinubu guy but looking at Nigeria situation, our next president should never be someone like current vice president. I really like his personality but he doesn't have the charisma and courage to unify and defeat the kind of insecurity he would inherit from Buhari. In a sane society where people are wise and highly educated, the like of Osinbajo after oversees the current pathetic economy for 7 years wont have moral right to declare for president, but this is Nigeria where everything is being analyse on Religion and ethnic sentiments. |

Sweetplum: Broda Yemi, I blv you are a Nigerian. Is the govt of your country very responsible in the area of building houses or housing estates? Nigeria dont even have what should be called government but assembly of business men and women using the title to steal from national treasury. For Nigeria to have anything that resemble modern city, private individuals must be bans from erecting different sub-standard structures in our major cities. Government, big organisations and well established private sectors should be in charge of housing. Mortage system should be well structured in such a way that will be very convenient for low or middle class citizens to own a house at city centre. |
