Tissaia:The same north that is head quarter of poverty? What has your illiterates backwards mentality presidents of Nothern extraction being doing for the region since 1960? I think Amajiri, boko haram, bandits, extremism and poverty right? If any of you people have sense, you should've stoned all your leaders to death and allow people of functioning brains to rule. |
Useless party. |
tbarrister:Calm down man, analyse withiout hating on anyone. Politic/elections are always determine by party structure and spending power. I've been going to polling boots since inception of current democracy in 1999, what i want you to know is that, over 80% of voters are illiterate or semi-illiterate who are not on internet. He who have more foot soldiers and money usually win elections. Now this is the issue, If APC give its ticket to someone withiout solid structure, and the other aspirants who control large structures do not want to work with him, they can easily sell out these structures to the opposition that is ready to spend. I hardly discuss politics on Nairaland because quite alot of people here know next to nothing in reality. I dont really have special person as my favourite before you say I am Tinubu advocate, but mark my words today, Osinbajo presidency will further worsing our situation in this country( both economy and politics). Infact we may end up in the state of anarchy and war which could eventually lead us to another military transition program. Forget about presidential power, he wont be able solve many existing problems that requires more charismatic actions. Like Buhari like typical black men, an average man will never give power to someone that will outshine him. |
DoggoneDogg:Custodians of deity age are usually measure by the king in power when they were ordained with such assignments. So,they might be right. |
MadamVanessa:The merger does my friend. Please stop saying what you dont know. If he didnt bring his significant structure to APC and ensure Buhari defeated Atiku in 2014 Lagos primary,Buhari wont be president today. One thing is his big gun in formation of APC,another one is ensuring Buhari win against almight Atiku in the primary. |
That is the mentality of an average Fulani man, their elites in government are just pretending to be civil but backward set of people with extremist mentality. |
alsudan:You talk as if the president own the party and all its members. The best Buhari can do is to persuade delegates to vote against him, he doesn't have power to impose a candidate if other dont step down. Also, he doesnt have power to chase him out of the party. This is a democracy system not military era. Even Ambode that was denied second term went through primary. All this, if true, will only work in favour of Atiku. |
I don't even know the rationale behind the reason Osinbajo come out to contest. The funniest part of it all are those who think he is the best for the country after spending almost eight fruitless years as VP. Do we really have sense in this country. |
ebute3:So you want Osinbajo to be a Christian president? Why emphasis on Christian's votes in a secular country like Nigeria. This is number 1 reason his emergence as president will lead the country into state of anarchy and war. Is like most of you guys want a president that will take us back to Military rule. |
There is need to conduct primary elections in any democratic system of government. The mode of chosen candidates as stipulated in the constitution is strictly followed by the parties, and I think is the best way except we want to totally dish out democracy. Blame it on Corruption, sentiments and un-patriotism. |
Susily:Take a flight to Ibadan, you will see Ife direct bus/cars at Airport junction. You can also take a direct bus to Ife from Berger park or to Ibadan and proceed from there. When you get to Ife, just ask anyone you are going to the General hospital as it popularity called,or better still enter OAU campus and go through staffs quarters. |
The mind of a child is plain and void. It is what you write there that the child will grow up with. There will always be a signs from 8years old, but your mum probably overlooked them, thinking she's only a child. This must be reason your dad put all the blame on her. Naturally, children are stubborn, manipulative and tender at the same time. There are two main factors in a child life, his/her parent, and the community/society he grew up in. The only solution is to relocate her to more decent community where she will meet a new set of serious minded friends. |
@op, you are no longer a small girl, go and experience the life at the opposite, I am sure in less than 2 years, you will see the difference( good or bad). Wish you best of luck! |
HIGHESTPOPORI:So all the APC governors, Senators and other stakeholders will just fold their arms, throw away their structures and benefits at federal level just to become strangers with little or no benefits in Atiku government? Politic doesn't work that way, the best bet for Atiku is for APC to field another Northerner. |
seunmsg:This is what some of these guys dont know, if APC mistakenly pick any Northerner as its candidate, Atiku will easily bribe his way out with aggrieved APC members in the south. North is already divides with NNPC, APC governors and stakeholders who will never destroy/lose their structures and advantages to become strangers in Atiku government. Wike, Makinde, Fayose and many other PDP stakeholders in the south may likely not work for Atiku if a Southerner emerge as APC candidate. |
duncan511:No, they are simply the majority favoured by constitution. If Wike can pull 237 vote as against Almighty Atiku 371, just know he was simply favoured by being on majority side and Tambuwa factor. |
subsidywise18:APC will win if they field a Southerner. The agitation for presidency to come south is too strong among political elites including the governors. Dont ever expect PDP of Atiku to get reasonable votes from SS and SW, even SE with the way they treated Obi wont go his way this time. APC states in the north are more than PDP, you dont expect these stake holders to destroy their structures for PDP. And with NNPC on board, Atiku cant get a block votes from the north. A united south, with APC candidate will defeat any Northern candidate. |
ChangetheChange:If APC present another northerner, that will only gives Atiku an edge in the south. With the new NNPC, and many APC states in the north, Atiku cant get a block vote to defeat a well known southerner. APC major stakeholders in the north who are eyeing important positions in abuja cant fold their arms and allow PDP to take that from them. Besides, if they mistakenly present another northerner, it will looks like a gang up against the south, and that alone can cause a doom on already fragile unity. |
MumuAFONJA:I honestly love Igbo brothers for this. They help and support one another, even their extended family members. I know many Igbo brothers brought up in their businesses by their brothers and relatives. Hausa too loves one another, if not more than the Igbos. Yoruba are the worse, we dont want anyone to be like or above us. It is among Yorubas you will see a billionaire brothers with poor siblings and parents. A typical rich Yoruba man want everyone around him to be under him or worship him. He rarely cares about others but his nuclear family alone. Though this behaviour is everywhere but so rampant among Yoruba. |
DropsMic:They looks smart because of silly Southern politicians that always bend to their rules. Another one is this pathetic Jonathan, only a clueless man will accept this kind of stupid offer from APC. Jonathan has absolutely nothing more to offer but sorrow and more economic woe. |
The topic should be " men who divorce their wives should share their experiences in marriage". It is shame for married men to be discussing their private issues in public except it's past occurrence. Only a low life man will respond to your topic, I see it as gossip or unnecessary petty talk. |
Okunga:Only doing that to gain public sympathies. Besides, why did EFCC wasting their time at his home, they should've waited and pick the fool during Senate plenary. |
naijapikin2:I did not insult you, neither did I directed my post at you, why calling me names for airing my view? You are the one that lack comprehension skill or understanding of logic. The literal meaning/interpretation of my previous post is, and I quote " marriage is not a do or die affairs like olden days". If your wife or husband is terrible. You dont need to remain there in perpetual misery, all you need to do is to walk away to avoid future or old age regret. You becomes a fool or hopeless soul the moment you chose to remain and tolerate this terrible spouse. Chosing a right partner is a game of luck, a good husband/ wife of your youth can become a terrible wife/husband in future. Humans are very unpredictable by nature, and can change to anything you least expected. No one is good or bad, it is circumstances that change the way people view life. The most important thing in marriage is to never allow your better half make you regret marry him/her at old age. Your happiness and sorrow at old age as regards marriage lies solely in decisions you made or failed to correct today. Life become easy and simple the moment you dont allow anything, no matter how valuable it is, to take away your peace and happiness. Hope you get the point now. |
naijapikin2:Only a fool and hopeless soul will allow the number 1 to define his life. If your wife or husband is terrible, leave the marriage as soon as you can. |
What old people regret most is time they wasted doing the wrong things. |
Cashio:The lady is somehow right, men rarely makes friends with someone they dont like or cant have sex with someday. Being useful to a man is a fastest way to develop sexual/marriage feeling for a woman. |
chibrolex:I think APC wont be so foolish to give someone who cannot win his state or senatorial district or total have control of party structure in his state its ticket , They will lose terribly. PDP too wont be that foolish to give Wike, whose only influence is being the Governor of wealthy state like porthacourt its ticket. Both of them are not sellable. |
Nigeria only need a charismatic leader, who can unify or mended already broken relationships among ethnic nationalities, solve insecurity problems and ensure proper economic blueprint. Someone like Peter Obi, Osinbajo, Fayemi and co dont have much needed characters to rule a complex country like Nigeria(especially in this our current political climate). Expect a tough time and probably a civil war if any of them become president. Atiku Tinubu Ogbonaya onu Kwanwaso Are better options, they maybe be old or somehow corrupt but we need a leader who can restore a peaceful atmosphere to achieve economic progress. No technocrats/experts (in the name of Obi, Osinbajo, Akinwumi, Fayemi, etc) can achieve anything in the present of civil unrest. |
Mindlog:We need first hands information like this. The items I am seeing here would cost about 10k in Nigeria. If you bought all these with less than an hour wage, then England is a place to be. Nigeria is nothing but hell on earth. |
IANAGI:I dont understand this, they send dollar directly to your normal Naira account? |
