The caption is * LASPOTECH no Hard,Just Buy Textbook* The write up could be encouraging and can be discouraging It depends how you reasons it. This guy could be insulting lecturer and he could be encouraging students to buy and reads their textbooks and pass exam. Moreign001: Exactly bro, that's what she said this night, parental pressure and he must be from our state. But I'm fine, relaxed and calm. I feel bad for my self because I lost a wonderful woman, but I'm sincerely happy for her. I won't cut her off communications, I will stand by her, support her whenever. One thing I understand about love is this. If you genuinely love someone, their happiness should be your first priority. Allow them to do what makes them happy, and still love them regardless. She the one who's leaving, she's the one who's crying, she's the one pleading that I shouldn't leave her. She even pleaded that I shouldn't delete her pictures because I told her I'm about doing that so that the memories won't be there always. She was crying all through, she loves me so much and she's decided not to do anything with the guy until everything is done.
Yes, I had intention of marrying her, she knew. She is not a cheat, she's a very good girl and I respect her. The main reason why I brought up this post was because lots of girls are after marriage without having nothing to offer. I personally asked what's her plans after school, and she said she will open a shop (Food items) until after her master programs. I was ready and willing to support her.
I told her to hold on until we're done with our Nysc which should be next year by God's grace.
And those asking why I didn't marry or engage her... Even if I had billions in my account, I still wouldn't have married until I'm done with my Nysc. You don't rush it, we were students for 4years and that's our love duration, we needed at least some time outside school to see how ideal we were.
And to some persons saying she doesn't have time... I pleaded for just one more year, for our Nysc.. Don't encourage people to rush into marriage because of age, she just met this guy, they don't know and haven't tolerate themselves. This is one of the major reasons why marriage keep failing because it can lead to trust issues, violence and others. I understood her very well, she's a very jealous individual, and I can tell you that the new guy doesn't know this and probably doesn't want a woman who is loaded with jealousy. But it's fine, many read to criticize, not to understand and learn. I thank you. @OP: With all this nonsense you just wrote, I have no iota of pity for you anymore and I won't mince words. What is wrong with you? Are you sure you are in your right senses? Someone dumped you for another man without considering your emotions, and simultaneously using histrionics and gaslighting you, yet you are still supporting her. Are you mad? You dey ment ni? Aaahhh! now I see why red pillers for nairaland dey always para...jeez! Your own don pass simp, you don craze finish. What kind of a low-esteemed human being are you? A girl did all these to you and this is what you write?? Wow!..who do you this kain thing? You be mumu ni? Mr. Mumuni. Let me stop writing, I dey vex gan.... |

felixzo1: most ladies marry who is available when they want to marry. a man can get married even at 40 to a 20year old girl. women do not have that previlage ,their biological clock is not their friend. i will never advice any woman to wait for man. more 70 percent of campus relationship do not lead to marriage. finance is usually the major factor. I have a friend who dated a girl since his first year in school . They were always together, did everything together , they were even living together, their parents were even aware of their relationship. They behaved as if they cannot live apart. But after service year the story changed, the lady was willing to marry the guy but the guy was not ready due to finance. The parents of the girl were even willing to sponsor the wedding but the guy refused that he wanted to stand on his feet first. 6 months later the girl got married to someone else, went on to have 3 kids the ex boyfriend was still single. After 9 years the guy got married to a 20 year old girl. The ex girlfriend has grown up kids The fact that she's got grown-up kids and still in the marriage does not necessarily mean she is happy (she might be though), but most times, from secret confessions of many ladies I know, they wished they waited for that Ex, time eventually irons out everything; but when you see them in public, they put up appearances as if all is well. May we all have a happy ending. |

2. *Proverbs 20:17* Food gained by fraud tastes sweet, but one ends up with a mouth full of gravel.
3. *Proverbs 13:11* Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time.
4. *Leviticus 19:13* Do not defraud or rob your neighbour. “‘Do not hold back the wages of a hired worker overnight.
5. *Proverbs 28:22* Greedy people try to get rich quick but don’t realize they’re headed for poverty.
6. *1 Timothy 6:9-10* But people who want to get rich keep toppling into temptation and are trapped by many stupid and harmful desires that plunge them into destruction and ruin.
Verse 10: For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, in their eagerness to get rich, have wandered away from the faith and caused themselves a lot of pain.
7. *Micah 2:1-3* Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At morning’s light they carry it out because it is in their power to do it. They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them. They defraud people of their homes, they rob them of their inheritance. Therefore, the LORD says: “I am planning disaster against this people, from which you cannot save yourselves. You will no longer walk proudly, for it will be a time of calamity.
8. *Proverbs 10:2* Ill-gotten treasures have no lasting value, but righteousness delivers from death.
9. *Proverbs 16:8* It is better to have a little, honestly earned, than to have a large income, dishonestly gained.
10. *Ephesians 4:28* Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.

Romance › Re: Any Lady That Belongs To Any Of These Groups Should Consider Polygamy (opinion) by Yoighaman(m): 9:44pm On Nov 19, 2021 |
Toks2008: Polygamy may not be appropriate for everyone but it remains a viable option for certain groups. Polygamy in Islam is a norm and there is no part in the Bible that forbids it or tags it a sin but rather it is Permissible just as GOD permits Divorce. The concept of Polygamy is not about Men having many wives but it is geared towards ensuring that every lady who wants to get married can easily have a husband thereby curbing the act of sexual immorality.
Sometimes what may seem inappropriate may be an ideal option and talking about polygamy, i will strongly advise the following group of ladies to give it a thorough consideration.
1. THE WIDOW: Except a lady is still very young at the time she lost her husband and she has no kids then she just might be fortunate to easily get a single guy who would love to marry her but as we know, many widows are usually with kids and of age which makes them more appealing to married men rather than single guys who would prefer to go for young never married ladies. So If you are in this group, stop bothering your head hoping for a single guy except you just want to be toyed with. Consider marrying a married man who is willing to love and care for you.
2. THE NEVER MARRIED LADIES IN THEIR 40s: Many ladies in this group usually have this hope that there just might be one single guy who will be willing to settle down with them AND YES it is very possible just that the chances of this happening is very low. Most guys usually get married in their 30s and except they see a divorcee or a widower then they just might be lucky but unfortunately, even the widower or divorcee will still most likely prefer to go for far younger ladies which makes it even more difficult to come across single guys. My candid advise for this group of ladies is to get a responsible man to settle with regardless of his marital status.
3. THE NEVER MARRIED SINGLE MUMS: I have so many single mums as friends and the common mind-set they still have is that there is one single guy out there who will gladly marry them. Well the truth is that it is not impossible but it just doesn't make any sense to continue hoping for one single guy to leave millions of ladies without kids to be with you and in most cases, this set of ladies get used by single men who just want to catch cruise with them. If you belong to this group please consider settling down with one responsible married man and avoid getting used by fvk boys in the name of looking for a single guy to marry.
4. THE IMPATIENT MONEY LOVERS/GOLD PICKERS: I honestly see nothing wrong in wanting a made guy after all, everyone has the right to make a choice but the problem i have with this set of ladies is when they put so much demand on a young progressive guy to provide what he can't. Wealth is progressive and except a man is very lucky to make huge money in his early age, I strongly believe that the best bet is for such a lady to look for one rich married man to marry because in most cases, it is men who are married and advanced in age that will be able to provide the type of life style this group of ladies desire .
5. THE UNLUCKY ONES: This group of ladies are just unlucky with single guys. They have tried many relationships with single men but they are just so unfortunate and they are totally fed up. My advice to them is to consider polygamy as there are many married men out there who will be willing to marry them and make them happy for as long as they live.
6.THE SUGAR BABIES: This group of ladies are usually very young and to them, it is ok to date married men or sugar daddies who can take care of them but when it comes to marriage, it is a taboo for them to marry such men. I honestly do not understand how a lady will be having sexual relationship with a married man, enjoy the lavish lifestyle he provides but will find it difficult to marry same man and the worst twist is that in most cases, even after this set of ladies get married, they still linger in the relationship with their sugar daddies. No be juju be dat?
Make i stop here Well said. |

Sleeping by oneself in a hotel in Nigeria is now risky, particularly hotels in remote areas.
What I always suggest is to make intentional calls or videos and send to your loved ones; by intentional, I mean, make it very obvious to the front desk and staff of the hotel that your people know and are aware of where exactly you are, you can even ask one of your peeps to say hello to the receptionist on the phone (who cares if your style is weird to them), say it openly that, that is your own way of ensuring your safety and security. That way, they will all think twice before doing anything nasty. |
Career › Re: Chartered Accountancy? How Lucrative Is It? by Yoighaman(m): 4:26pm On Nov 18, 2021 |
quadriolakunle: It can be lucrative, and sometimes very lucrative.
To start with, CFOs of all major entities earning 100s of millions are all chartered accountants, they did not start that way, but today they are counting Annual pay more than what a lot of entrepreneurs will ever make in a life time. ( Do your research)
Even if you are not chartered and you are smart, after you graduate try to get into the Big 4 ( Audit Division) , here you get paid fairly ( I think all big 4 pays above 200k now for entry level, non chartered), get international exposure, get training to be chartered. You can then run to the industry after 4 to 5 years where you can land a finance manager role in a reputable company. ( you may earn up to 1m per month based on the industry and your negotiation power)
Meanwhile, you must note that most companies paying this money will actually make you work for it. You wont be in the Big 4 earning 200k as new hire non chartered and expect to do same work as somebody in a small audit firm earning 50k or 100k
Just to also mentions, Partners in most Audit firms and big men in their own level, you wont hear their names in the news or something, but they make profits in huge millions.
So I personally think it is lucrative, should you be ready to put in the work. Nice post. |

After qualification, make sure you add some skills relevant to accounting such as excel skill, Sound knowledge of IFRS, Good knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and how to defend tax position, Knowledge of international finance, know how to recover excess bank charges from dubious banks (because 90% of Nigerian Banks are dubious), etc.
If you are good at the above, you will consult for other companies aside your primary place of employment.

Politics › Re: Lagos-Ibadan Expressway: Contractors Responsible For Accidents - Dapo Abiodun by Yoighaman(m): 11:16am On Nov 18, 2021 |
Cantonese: You can hold the contractors responsible on one part but do not forget that bus drivers get reckless and irresponsible too. Who knows, the driver could have seen the tanker emerging and wanted to make a quick dash, so the tanker would either not obstruct his movement or delay him.
Many years ago in this country it was a standard requirement for drivers to read, understand and have good knowledge of road signs. Unfortunately that no longer obtains. We have a very huge percentage of drivers who are very illiterate and irresponsible. Even the educated ones do not know road signs. I can bet that same governor may not know road signs. Ogun state has roads that are very disgraceful and yet the governor has failed to attend to them. Those who go to equity must have clean hands. He needs to attend to the terrible road in his state before judging the contractors fixing other roads.
That said, some transport drivers think it is proper to “shine their eyes” with either igbo or paraga or both before embarking on long journeys. Some get to areas where even common sense should get them to be patient, yet they try to circumvent it quickly. Some think driving at a particular speed makes their movements too slow. Some are encouraged by their passengers to drive at great speeds. Some think other slow moving road users “no sabi drive”.
Everything is just wrong with Nigeria. When will we ever get it right? You just nailed it. That 'face me, I face you' part of the road is very scary and dangerous. It would be better to put a demarcation and let the road users maintain just a lane until they get back to their proper lanes. The contractors are not handling the project properly. May God's protection be on us all. |
