The foundation stone of this hospital was laid by the Duchess of Gloucester on the 13th of May 1959 and the same Hospital was later handed over to the Federal govt on 1st Oct,1960 and further handed over to Lagos state govt.

Lamata was established by Tinubu. The body transformed Transportation system in Lagos state through BRT system. No other state has been able achieve such. I was a teacher in 2011-13 in Lagos state. Tinubu laid the foundation for good public primary and secondary school buildings, the millennium building which are built and have sollar energy installed in them. He made teaching job a lil juicy in Lagos state too.
