Lol. While other races are forging ahead in all facets of life, preparing themselves for likely sudden events, ours are still stuck in the ways of our ancestors. We've simply refused to evolve. Just like the duo of discussions- Chachanga and the other rightly observed, Nigeria is not far from a civil conflagration. The signs are lucidly obvious. What's happening here is reminiscent of the old days of conquest. How people manage to close their eyes and sleep without thinking that such clear genocide could come their way in a short time baffles me. Anyway, one thing is certain that is; those who have something to defend will stay back while those who have nothing to fight for Will flee. In wars, people die. Those who remain are not more important than those who died. It's all part of the process of civilization.

Very very true. It's so glaring but beats my imagination why the majority of Africans can't see it. They succeeded in dividing us so our resistance would be minimal as they continue to suck us to maintain their lavish lifestyles. The easiest way to really understand what the OP wrote is to ask yourself why French colonies in Africa happen to appear dead. If you study that you will weep for Africa as you can see they are clearly under bondage. The French model of colonization by assimilation was a master stroke at perpetual enslavement. They barely stand a chance against France and it's interest. The British system of colonization was more lenient as it very visible to the eyes that they are out for your resources. They only look for any group among you who is willing to sell out for just a better package than others in order to be in control for the British. The result today is what you see in Africa- divided countries and poverty as Europeans try to maintain the status quo. Mind you this was not only done in Africa but wherever the colonialists touched. They Asians were able to shake off the deceit to rise to the heights they've achieved of recent. Who will save Africa?

Most Nigerians in South Africa are criminals. They are into prostitution, drug dealing, assassination, advanced fee fraud, gambling and all manner of vices. The major culprits are our hardworking 'blothers' who want to earn chieftaincy titles and wear red caps by all means.
What about the minor culprits? Tribalism will be your Waterloo.

I'm more interested in comparing Akwa Ibom and Edo state. Akwa Ibom is among the states with high population density and are known to be educationally inclined too but here Edo has consistently beaten them. Are the Edo people more educationally adventurous than the Akwa Ibomites or could the real population of Edo be underestimated all the while? Could it be that more Edomites reside outside their states as compared to Akwa Ibom? It's surprising to me.

We don't seek war but we will never accept the condition this evil Nigeria has placed us. We've asked for restructuring, they refused. We are now asking for a referendum towards our quest for Biafra, rather they came with guns and are killing our young men and their civilians were cheering them and mocking us. Time is ticking and one day, everyone will feel the heat. No one goes into conventional warfare any more. It makes it easier to be defeated. Guerrilla warfare is the real deal. Costly and tiring. Already, Nigeria is suffering that of Boko harms. Can they survive a more larger and co-coordinated one? This time all southern Nigeria will feel it. A lot of things will be distorted and the suffering monumental. Young men are being prepared psychologically for that. Like no boko boys ever confess upon torture, so shall the young men be. You will long for this present days but won't see it. This will surely kill this evil Nigeria. You will learn never to treat us as inconsequentials. The sell outs among us will be used as scapegoats. That would be a sign. Any peace under injustice and inequality is slavery. We are NEVER slaves.

Do you guys know that Madam Acholonu got pictures from the Ekwealuo family in Iseke, Ihiala and they so resembled Olaudah? Although, Gustavus had two dissimilar pix but most people go with the one where he wore an afro. The receding hairline was also seen in the Ekwealuos. No one can be certain which village he came from but he's Igbo origin is undisputed. For me, that's all that matters. Some Europeans doubt he was born in Africa but that does not take away the numerous apt description of things in the average Igbo customs and tradition. By and large, let's celebrate one of our own and appreciate the effort he made to see to the abolition of slave trade.
I doff my hat for the great Equiano. Ndeewo Da Gustavus.

Try to comment on what you know. What do you know about Rivers State? How many tribes are there in the state? Stop being in a hurry to involve yourself in Igbo issues.

So you still have faith in man? You believe without a doubt that Nmandi is doing this not for the power attached?
Na so naim Libyan think when Gadafi was being removed. Igbos can plan their lives, they can better their homeland even without leaving Nigeria. What has the igbo governors done dso far to uplift igbo land? Igbos can be within Nigeria and change their land to a luxurious place. Starting with the government, the workers, and all Igbos involved. Giving Biafra does not mean Igbo mentality would suddenly change. Until I see the uniqueness and drive for perfection and honesty in the average Igbo man, how he handles his day to day activity, how he cares for his brothers and sisters, how he loves and serves his fatherland, I will maintain that Biafra should wait. Kanu should start from home to purge Igbo land of evil vices. Oyinbo men are simply storing shit behind Kanu and Fedgovt. Nigeria is fallingbfor their typical trap. Just as they told Gadafi they we're solidly behind him, only to arm another group of men to go fight and destroy him claiming the rebels are unsatisfied Libyans who have suffered under Gadafi.
Now Gadafi is gone, how well are the rebells treating libyans? i would tell you the answer........worse than they could imagine.
Unfortunately, Nigerians are ignorant of the might and cunning ways of the elite and shadow government of this world. They are playing us like a fiddle.
wisdom is scarce, In Africa , Africans are easily controlled to be used and discarded. We love power, give an African man hope of having power, and he would destroy his own father's house.
They will tell Kanu they are behind him, then they would tell Nigeria they should fight for one Nigeria. Two sides, one puoet master controlling them. Its all about money, all aboutbdivide and conquer. Set them up against each other, make them hate each other, divide them by culture, tribe, religion, education and even gender. Break them down into powerful small pieces so they would be weak when alone yet strong when fighting a against each other.
When will we learn? Probably never. The average Negro is selfish hence its very hard to bring them together to see point and work as one without betraying each other based on what was used to divide them in the first place.
Lol. If you are smart, why can't you outsmart the white elites by granting Igbos a referendum that would confirm if their concensus choice was Biafra. It's your lack of regard that will plunge Nigeria into the abyss that she can easily surmount. Unlike the Libyans who were enjoying under Ghaddafi, Igbos don't have any sense of belonging in Nigeria. We shall be glad to see all Nigeria lay to waste. At least after that, we can all go our separate ways. Ndigbo can always bounce back.

Thanks for understanding my point, from your statement, I quote: " you can see how bold he is, ...this time you'll leave no stone unturned " its clear you agree Ojukwu dint have those qualities.
Lol. You are just grabbing at straws. Ojukwu was a personality that towered above his peers. A man who organised a battered people and gave them hope in the face of hopelessness. A young man who had no mentor nor international support to serve as a psychological boost but still withstood your hoards for 36 months at a time when the capability of blacks was still questioned? Its obvious you don't know Ojukwu. Of course he made some mistakes but he's departure from Biafra when the situation became hopeless was never borne out of cowardice. The absence of man is far better than his death. Ojukwu was more than Biafra to ndigbo. He was a symbol of hope. Another Ojukwu is in your custody now. He is an obstacle in your throat. You can't swallow him. The only thing you can do is to vomit him. Lol
Politics › Re: Lazyitis Hits Nigeria by Yujin(m): 10:11pm On Feb 12, 2017
Bro, if you query why no African country is getting it right then I agree with you but if you blame all Africans of being lazy whether physically or intellectually, then I'll never agree with you. The ability to identify the right problem will help our discussion very well. The problem with Nigeria is a different ball game. Look at the entertainment sector- motion pictures and music we've been successful through handwork. Academically, we've broken records in virtually all the continents of the world. You can google to confirm for yourself. When it comes to entrepreneurship, even in the country you presently reside, I can bet you have lots of Nigerians doing their own businesses with success. What else do you expect of our youths? Our problem is certainly not laziness. We certainly have lots of lazy youths but I tell you the hardworking ones are far more than the layabouts. The problem in Southern Africa is quite close to laziness. I'm not trying to sound divisive. We're all blacks and our situation is very pathetic to say the least.
Politics › Re: Lazyitis Hits Nigeria by Yujin(m): 9:10pm On Feb 12, 2017
Temidayo, you responded so well. The situation between West Africa and Southern Africa is totally different. The OP may not understand based on where he has spent more years. Because of the Southern Africans, other races have no respect for us. Here in West Africa, our leaders are our bane. Our youths are not bereft of ideas or strength to add value like you rightly mentioned. Generally, we have a lot to do starting from our leaders. I'd have said our youth but its easy to derail their aims as we've seen in Libya.

Those that have sea, have seaports like Apapa like Onne, like Calabar.

Ondo and Ogun with sea don't have seaport, so why is landlocked SouthEast complaining about seaport? Must you always associate the SE with the SS to have some legitimacy? Is the SE that irrelevant?
Can a castrated man complain about not having children?

Nigerians whose monies where taken in the East and in the banks in Benin by Biafra, did not get a penny from anyone. You should be happy that you even got something after forcing the country to fight a war that is not meant to be a cash crop precipitating economic growth. Besides you got all the allocations accrueable to the East after the war. The hated Awolowo ensured you did, and also credited the banks to ensure loans can be easily sourced to revive the economy of that region.

Any contraband would always be siezed and disposed of as the customs/government deem fit. No concessions would be made no matter the crocodile tears shed by the tribe committing the offence of criminal importation of goods. Or is contraband now know as Igbo goods? Or in typical victim-complex disorder, the contraband was targeted at Igbos?

Quota system and federal character is good. It ensures you don't cry like a baby when a greedy tribe like yours siezes power and behave like you did in the aftermath of independence with the NCNC providing the administrative resources in the alliance with NPC. You long for those days, but you killed it with your greed.

In one breath you canvassed for fair representation, but in another greedy Igbo breath you condemn quota system and federal character principle. You deceive no one, Igbo man.

Whether checkpoint or not, Igbos are still scared to return to their villages due to security issues. A US military veteran was only killed recently after returning home. Many who vow not to return home are of the opinion that the checkpoints are a necessity in the East. Besides, checkpoints are everywhere in Nigeria, so enough of the crocodile tears.

Igbos hated in Nigeria for nothing? It seems you didn't get the tribal memo that any Igbo man who has been welcomed in a community outside of his own, must then proceed to denigrate the culture, the people and their traditional authority and everything they hold dear and sacred.

Who can love such a creature?
I like the way you write and denigrate ndigbo but one day, you shall regret it. Only very few things are keeping Nigeria and they are failing fast. We know all your evil machinations but because we are wise, we won't dance to your tune. We the right time comes, you won't know what hit you.

Good to know someone else is keeping the records of this. Cowards will rather commit suicide than die challenging a changeable situation. This is the average Nigerian youth for you. During the french revolution, young men faced soldiers head on and died in their thousands but as time went on the soldiers succumbed to their persistence. They never back tracked until monarchy was defeated together with its abuse of power. Today, Biafran youths stand face to face with the army and they hurl insults on such brave men while cheering the soldiers. What has now become of your Nigeria? A FAILED COUNTRY. You cowards should continue committing suicide. It will embolden the corrupt politicians to continue in their ignoble professions. You're making the job easy for them. This Nigeria is dying gradually like I predicted. My analysis were very simple. The weght of anomalies coupled with an unproductive population will lead to her demise. It is simple logic. Let me say another one again. Before 2017 runs out, a dollar will exchange for a thousand naira. Forget about all the lies Buhari's government will dish out. Kemi Adeosun does not even know what to do. The whole economic team is bereft of ideas. Expect the increase in crime as few money will be in circulation. This Nigeria is going to coma. After 21 views, none has managed to comment. What does it tell you? Any hope for this Nigeria? NO! They succeeded in alienating the SE & SS youths from having any patriotism for Nigeria through exclusion. The northern youths especially the Hausa-Fulanis can never rise against their leaders who happen to be the most corrupt owing to illiteracy and cultural stratification. The SW youths though educated can barely organise themselves to protest without one of their corrupt elites being a sponsor thereby derailing the essence of such protest. Tell me then how a revolution is possible in Nigeria. As far as I'm concerned, a revolution is NOT possible in Nigeria.

What Asari Dokubo has seen none of these children can see. Biafra is the symbol of peace, unity and progress. Anyone from the south south who allows any prejudicial hatred against the Igbo to rob him of the Biafran promise will regret it. Ndigbo have all it takes to go alone but we still feel it would be good going with our long time brothers. If that doesn't go down well with them, they can remain in Nigeria or form NDR which to me will be the most difficult venture to attempt owing to the multiplicity of languages and tribes who have no solid driving point. Anyway, it is their case to handle but I'd warn that let no one insult the great Igbo nation because he disagrees with our aspirations.
Lol. At present, Biafra is making gains world wide and straightening crooked parts to ensure its establishment while those from the SS are fast asleep. When the UN finally arrives for a referendum, is that when you will bring up your NDR? Of course, that would be a story for another day after Biafra must have been broken out of Nigeria. Will a heavily fragmented SS be able to attract another referendum for their own independence? You know the story already. Wisdom requires that you call for NDR concurrently with those calling for Biafra so that you can be considered when the referendum will be done.
