Orji has given the world a preemptive warning to the global community European Union (EU), African Union (AU), United Nations (UN), United States Of America (USA), United Kingdom (UK), Common Wealth, ECOWAS, Federal Government of Nigeria and President Muhammadu Buhari that the deadline given to them to release all the prisoners of Conscience in Onitsha and Awka prisons respectively hard long passed since May 30, 2021 and that the consequence of making empty his demands remains the abolishment of Anambra State Election come November 6, 2021.

"I gave out a note of warning to the Anambra State Government and the Federal Government respectively and gave May 30, 2021 as the deadline to release the 19 Biafra Activists held for about 16 years now without hearing".

"Biafra National Guard (BNG) the Biafra Armed Forces shall make sure that Anambra State Election does not hold irrespective of how many millions of Police officers and Military jet fighters deployed for the November 6, 2021".

Speaking with reporters through his Spokesperson Mazi Agwu Francis, General Orji said that, "Biafra National Guard (BNG) will declare Biafra a Free Independent State come October 30th if the Federal Government of Nigeria refuses to release the Radio BIAFRA Director, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on the date of his next court hearing".

He further opined that no amount of world conspiracy or any weapons made by man can stop the Land of the rising Sun from shining".

"BNG calls on all relevant Organizations of the world, global family of Biafrans home and in diaspora should brace up for the forthcoming BNG Live Broadcast announced for 27th - 30th October, 2021 because freedom is not given on a platter of gold but taken forcefully".

General Innocent Orji decried "the injustice meted out to Biafrans while their resources steers the wheel of the illegal occupational Government of Nigeria and various uncountable Countries of the world citing the United Nations Declaration On The Rights Of Indigenous People, Articles 3 and 4 backs our quest for Self-Determination. Article 3 explicitly said that "Indigenous peoples have the right to self-determination. By virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their
economic, social and cultural development" while Article 4 states that "Indigenous peoples, in exercising their right to self-determination, have the right to autonomy or
self-government in matters relating to their internal and local affairs, as well as ways and means for
financing their autonomous functions".

MAN COMMITS SUICIDE IN HIS HOME

Mr Ukeme Robert is dead. An indigene of Ibiaku Ikot Oku in Ibiono Ibom local government area, Mr Ukeme committed suicide at his home.

Reasons for the decision to take his life are sketchy as he left no notes but his last interactions with people around him show he was going through difficult times financially plus the trauma of being abandoned by his wife.

From my findings Late Mr Ukeme Robert known on Facebook as Bebeto Roberto was visibly distressed in recent times and was unable to offset pressing financial commitments.

This brings to two the number of suicide cases recorded in Ibiono Ibom in the less than one month following the case of One Mr Edem.

Man Stabs Chief Imam To Death For Allegedly Sleeping With Wife

A 35-year old man, Umaru Jibrin has stabbed the Chief Imam of Enagi town, in Edati Local Government area of Niger State to death for allegedly having a sexual relationship with his wife, Aisha Umar.

Jibrin claims that he caught the 48-year old Islamic cleric, Alhaji Attahiru Alhassan, in the act and stabbed him in the neck when he called him for a peace talk.

He was however arrested by the Police in the state.

Narrating what happened to newsmen at the Police Headquarters in Minna, Jibrin said, “When I saw him on top of my wife, I said haba Imam why must you do this to me? Aisha my wife what are you looking for?”

Jibrin further explained that he went out after asking them the question to see his brother, one Abubakar Abdulrahman inform him of what he saw.

“But, not quite long, the Imam sent for me for a peace talk, and to plead that the matter is concealed from the public,” he said.

However, an argument was said to have ensued in the process which allegedly made Jibrin forcefully collect the rod in the hand of the Chief Imam and stabbed in him in the neck.

Parading the suspect on Tuesday, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Wasiu Abiodun told journalists that when the incident happened, the suspect took to his heels but was later arrested at Batati village, in Lavun local Government Area of the state.

Abiodun said some youths mobilised to the police station in the area to lynch the suspect in a jungle justice but the policemen there intervened.

He advised the general public to desist from taking laws into their hand, saying that investigation into the incident was ongoing and that the suspect would soon be charged to court.

Me I was earning roughly #32k in a fulltime teaching job. I had to resign to do part-time teaching earning #80k plus.

If I had stayed back due to fear of unknown, I would have been underpaid and overworked.

Before I did part-time though I got a #20k fulltime teaching job that would have overstressed me even more but God pass them.
