I stay @mangoro agege .... Tell me how the training goes.
Firstly, capoeira is an afro Brazilian martial arts that was practiced by slaves who where transported from Africa to Brazil. Capoeira is a symbol of freedom, resistance and strength. Capoeira is the national sports of Brazil and rival football in Brazil.

Capoeira training requires lots of movement, strength, agility, speed, power, endurance and flexibility. capoeira is a blend of dance, fight, ritual (traditions), history and music.

There are three types of capoeira namely Capoeira Angola, Capoeira regional and Capoeira contemporary. We train contemporary which is a blend of regional and Angola.

Capoeira training is most times accompanied with music and songs with instruments like the berimbau, atabaque, pandiero, reco record, caxixi, shekere and of cause claps and choruses. The rythm determines how fast we play or fight.

When you get started you will have to learn the "dance" called the ginga (swing). you can look out Eddy on tekken game. You will have to master the ginga cause most of the moves will end up having u going back to the ginga for balance. Then after the ginga you move to the esquivas( dodges), then you learn the kicks, hand strikes, take downs grapples and then florieos (flourishes). Then as you progress you will then begin to learn malicia and develop your mandinga.

For further questions and inquiry you drop your number and I will add you to our whatsapp group where u can meet many capoeirstas and ask all your questions.

Hope I have been of help.

Canada has its own safety qualification
Canada has it's own safety institution which is the BCRSP just like United Kingdom has IOSH. In canada your safety qualifications eg diploma, pgd, certificates are earned by going to designated schools,
https://www.ccohs.ca/.../courses.html

Canada doesn't have a body like Nebosh that strictly issues out HSE certifications. Mind you canada, Australia and Newzealand all have a connection with England so Nebosh is well recognized.

ISPON level 3 is worth it's weight in Gold...only in Nigeria.
NEBOSH IGC carries it's weight internationally except in the US, Canada, New Zealand and a few other countries that have their own Safety Qualifications.

Employers will prefer people with NEBOSH IGC than those with ISPON Level 3...as any skill gap between the two can be covered by OJT (On the Job Training).

As some of the other members stated getting an expensive Safety Qualification is not an automatic guarantee of you getting a job ( a well paid one at that).
The NEBOSH IGC is now a benchmark as course providers have pushed it to the forefront...there are other alternative safety qualifications you can acquire that will be eay on your pocket and peace of mind while working.

I have a friend who was sent for NEBOSH Training by his company...this is not a universal practice amongst companies but you'll never know.
NEBOSH is recognized very well in canada, Newzealand, Australia, European countries and middle east...How did I know this? my facilitator who is British travels to these countries to teach Nebosh courses.

No girl is mandated to stick with you for ever as long as she isn't your wife.

No man who is reasonable ties his happiness or build his world around a woman or a human being.

As a man you should be bothered about building a career, pursuing a dream or running a business of yours and not being bothered about a girl....

Having in mind that she did nothing wrong breaking up with you..YES she did nothing wrong...she gave u an opportunity to face your life squarely and make something out of your life so that at the end you xn decide to date or marry either a girl or many girls from any race, tribe or religion.

You will be a big fool if you try to figure out why she left you or if you try going to beg her to win her back...You will be wise if you make up your mind at this time to put woman aside and make a life for yourself.

Finally, "In woman was sin's beginning, and because of her we all die. Allow water no outlet, and be not indulgent to an erring wife. If she walks not by your side, cut her away from you"..SIRACH 25: 23-25

Learn to love yourself first and then u won't be bothered about love coming from some other person.

Until you and others alike learn that happiness is a decision and not a result u will be stuck tying your happiness to someone or objects.

You can't blame them...maybe we Nigerians have highest number of applications, highest number fake documents, highest number of desperate applicants, etc, ghana processing time is 8weeks, Niger 5weeks, Republic of benin 8weeks....also you can't blame us Nigerians we want better standard of Living conditions for ourselves and children which our corrupt government/leader can't provide for us......we should all hope for the best and God's plan.
Look at other countries you mentioned all having 5-8 weeks for processing. The question is why is it that when it comes to Nigeria question mark or K-leg must dey.

I can see online that 1 CAD equals 215 Naira...I hope the CAD goes back to 150/145 at least I don't know how possible...This is really serious... The politicians mess up the country and its d average and poor masses that still suffer for it. All them greedy politicians with billions looted and stuffed in a place won't feel the impact of this currency hike nah still we the masses.

God help your children, I wonder how people will cope... When CAD was 145/150 parents and sponsors tried there best possible to see there wards have the best and now this this hike.

The country just keeps making things so difficult for the average and poor...The other time I saw 1 CAD equals 5 India rupees, 1 CAD equals 11S.A Rand. Why is this Country the way it ishuh...That's why most young people just wants to get OUT of this oppressive nation.

Was it joseph sperm dat formed jesus or d holy spirit? undecided
From what u said initially because of rahab there shouldn't have even been a Jesus cause the line and subsequent generation should have been filled with curses.

Really, that's not how God and life works at times... Therefore a man who has laid with an olosho shouldnt even be ur problem because they are some men who are dating olosho or who even have olosho as ex's but don't even know. Rather you pray and believe that God will send your way a good man whom you will agree with which will subsequently lead to a blessed and happy married life found on love, trust and Christ.

faro02455:
thanks bro. But can you give the difference between the ISPON level 3 and Nebosh IGC?
ISPON in general teaches you how to manage and adapt your HSE skills to the Nigerian environment for example in ISPON you hear things like community affairs, tribes totem, shrine, omonile, hostile locals but Nebosh IGC teaches you how safety is managed internationally and you see things like safe work procedures during winter, spring, heaters in the toilets and offices.

However, you can still function excellently as a safety professional with Ispon training as there trainings and lectures are designed after Shell Petroleum Development Company Standards.

Finally, Nebosh and Ispon are both good it now depends on you if you would like to carry your safety trainings and exposure beyond the Nigerian system.

Hope my rants did justice to your question.

God bless safety professionals.

THE AWAKENING should be d name of the youth movement.

This thread has shown that gradually there is an AWAKENING and the next thing would be a revolution.

Our greedy and selfish leaders should carry on, one thing I love about revolution is that it catches the victims unawares then they would have been drowned in there greedy and selfish that they fail to realize the flood of revolution coming.

And as for Ymodolus and the wonderful good hearted men God bless you. really you don't need religion or tribe to do good or show love.

God bless the Nigerian Youths.

Thanx a bunch, every month, there is an amount deducted from my account as a fixed savings to be matured in 5 years which means every month I am been deducted an amount which I can't touch and this will continue till 5 years, it is over two years I subscribed to this savings system and I have been working since 2012. All the working documents are breathing well, but at this particular moment, my account is very low, do you think I should submit my monthly savings receipts and leave out my bank statement or I should still add my bank statement despite it us low but the transactions in it shows the amount I am been deducted every month in the name of savings?
Rather than attach account statement that's too low you can attached shares certificate if u have any or if your sponsor is like your mum or father and they have land properties I think that is enough to tie you back to your country. Finally, if they will give you visa they will give you visa. Don't kill yourself bothering, do you very best, submit and pray and believe that something positive will come out of your application.

I am sounding this way cause I have see bad applications get visas...and I started to have this mixed feeling that probably at the end its not about what you submit or the amount of funds you have got.

I think the VO's at times look beyond how much funds and the documents we submit.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Unemployed First Class Graduate From UNIBEN Laments For Job. PIC by zeongeon: 3:44pm On Jun 27, 2016
I look at some post here and really the situation of the country coupled with the wickedness of our leaders have messed up the minds of some people. At times one can be forced to say that Nigerians deserve the kind of leaders they get.

1. It is not a good thing for a first class to be looking for job..the fact.

2. It is not wrong to want to land a job after NYSC because you struggle to get a job after NYSC doesn't mean its wrong for others to aspire for a job immediately after service after all our parents back in time always got jobs as soon as they where graduating from school with there ssce results, bsc certificates etc.

3. Not every one will be an entrepreneur, some people are better off working for others, some people will need to work for a while gather necessary funds and experience before going out to start there own business, some people are from poor homes and will have to work to raise money for business, the Nigerian system doesn't make loans easily accessible.

4. A country that wants to grow will invest on its intellectually resources and properties like our first class students..Yes, every country that wants to develop knows that this first class students can be put to good use in terms of research, development and problem solving after all our government that spend money on unnecessary things can pay first class grads to solve our economic problems, to invent and to innovate. That's why when these first class grads go to reasonable countries they seize them like they are about to seize a very good friend of mine. BRAIN DRAIN is real ooh.

5. Don't judge anyone or call anyone lazy cause you have no idea about his journey in life. it is working well for you doesn't mean it is working well or should work well for others.

6. Finally, it is my prayer for most youth in Nigeria to be gainfully employed and for those who want to go the entrepreneur way I also pray God bless your hardwork.

Sure you can apply for COOP work permit from Nigeria. Even CIC stated that you should apply for coop work permit together with your study permit.
Thank you very much. what if one states on his study permit that his course of study requires coop will there still be a need to apply for a work permit.

is Coop stated in your admission letter as part of your academic program? Or you are talking about normal 20 hours work you can do as a student? If COOP is part of your program, i think you have to apply for work permit separately as your study permit does not cover the COOP Program. I think you should be able to do it when you get to maple land. #Godspeed.
Can't one apply for the work permit from Nigeria?
