Web2020: My friend, the worst thing that can ever happen to anyone is to lose his/her reputation, integrity and credibility. When you lose it, no one will ever take you serious again even with your good intentions. Not that people don't read, the Federal government has lost her reputation, credibility and her integrity. Therefore, no body is taking them seriously again. That is why if you are a leader in your local church, community, school, at home, at work etc Guide your reputation with all it takes because if you lose it, you are gone. When you lose your reputation and credibility, head lines is a enough to judge you because no body cares.
I don't think this is enough reason for someone to comment totally off point on a public forum. I think some people just find it difficult to read. It is really awkward reading comments where a commentator obviously didn't read the news
Saifulah: Do people read this days at all... Emirates airlines crossed our local lines and they were sanctioned by FG. The UAE government then retracted and towed our line and the sanction was lifted. Common guys above... READ
This annoys and disappoint me seriously. How can people be so lazy to this level of not reading an article less than a page?
For those who are yes sayers to the vaccine, it is blow. For naysayers, it is a small victory of answered prayers. Let the government meet up with the conditions and reapply
simple250: Why not ban importation of this bikes ,govt will collect money from importers during the day then collect the bikes at 9te from buyers .
O' wrong now.
why will they ban the importation? Blame those who choose to violate traffic laws and leave importation ban out of this. Okada is not totally banned even here in Lagos, there are only some designated routes they are banned from. But alas, they will be plying such routes in flagrant disregard of existing laws.
AbijaJ: Really?? And how much did Ikpeazu pay the farmers whose crops/farms the cows destroyed Ikpeazu is the real definition of Fulani slave. What does Mazi Kanu have to say about what is happening in his backyard?
Ikpeazu may be wrong here, but it is quite disappointing when a story is here and people completely fail to read before commenting. The answer to your question is right there in this story, go and read.
Felixamos: and has the president in any way shown any human trait?
Ha, don't be surprised that the man has millions of people that love and cherish him, and wouldn't want him to die. Even the worst of people have love ones.
Thank God for your life. But looking at the accident, I am finding it difficult to understand how somebody sitting in the front can nearly hit his head on the ground
BRATISLAVA: You are already disgracing yourself by believing everything in the story. You believe someone knows of the 7 times his neighbors wife got tested for her genotype, and he trusts her so much he can describe it accurately?
How are you to believe the man is really AS? The whole story is full of doubtful situations. The man could be SS. I know, it's hard for you to believe.
Do not move from the point, you kept insinuating the man's genotype was hidden so as to blame the woman, while it was clearly mentioned in the story which you didn't read but pre planned to blame the man. It is no a question of if the story is true or not. It is a question of not reading before commenting, which is a great disservice to people following comments here. Assuming your theory of ss from the man is true, how come AA and SS birthed SS? If you wanted to question the validity of the story, you should have done that straight away. But, no you went straight to the man's jugular when he had not done anything wrong.
BRATISLAVA: The gene lies with both parents. What is the husbands genotype? In all this, information about him has been withheld. He can't be as innocent as portrayed.
Do you intentionally wish to disgrace yourself here or what? I don't understand. You keep talking about husband's genotype withheld and all what not. Meanwhile it is clearly stated in OPs post that the husband is AS. Didn't you read before commenting?
thundafire: There are still chances of a child having SS even though both parent are AA or AS. The probability is like 1% and the child happened to be part of the 1%
not in this case if you were able to read to the end. The result after the child was confirmed SS came out to be AS. So the wife is AS the man is AS as well
aremuforlife: That means the law will only limit women because their counter can impregnate someone without the knowledge of HQ
I think we should not interpret the law out of context. If I understand the CP, the law is all about the effect of pregnancy on post graduation training in the specified period on women. A pregnant woman is limited on many things due to issues associated with pregnancy, both physical and psychological. From that point of view, it is difficult to effect it on men.
aremuforlife: The law needs to be reviewed, how have they been controlling their Male counterparts, or is the law only for female police.
You saying a different thing. The law does not exempt both genders from intimacy. It only forbids pregnancy. Does a man get pregnant? Women too can be intimate but there are many ways not to get pregnant. As the commissioner details, pregnancy will be a great distraction within that time
kiddkash: dropping ever reliant Azpilicueta for Reece James was a bad decision. I get it, he wanted youth
always playing mount even when he was messing up. sometimes, coaches bench players so they don't get too ahead of themselves, but Lampard never did.
although Abraham seized his opportunities, he should have shown more respect to Giroud
having 3 left backs Marcos Alonso, Emerson, Chillwell still playing Azpilicueta at left back sometimes was terrible Idea.
beginning of the season, Always playing Werner up front was bad Idea. Werner doesn't lead attack, he plays the same position Mane plays which is why Liverpool didn't get Werner.
he doesn't know when to make substitutions.
his mishandling of Kepa situation.(he should have been ruthless and gotten rid of him)
he amount of funds that was given to him, Chelsea deserved a lot.
well I am happy about Chelsea's results
Yes, but all these do not suggest nepotism towards Brits. May be we can agree he didn't have the technical know how to manage Chelsea.
kiddkash: he should never have been given the chance. the guy is small time and shows extreme nepotism towards brits. I admire his plan, but it made brits in his team to work less because they know they'll always have an opportunity just for showing up
Please I am not a chelsea fan but I don't think he showed favouritism to Brits in my opinion. How many Brits were in that team to start with? How many Brits did he buy when he had opportunity to buy players? When Timo came, he was playing regularly, same with Carl. People complain about Mount playing but he ione of the few stand out players in this poor team. When Giroud picked form, he was playing regularly in the team as well, Tammy went back to the bench. When ever Ziyech is free from injury, he plays. Werner has played almost everywhere in the front but has failed to make any impact. It harsh to accuse him of nepotism in my opinion
fitzmayowa: I never thought I would see the day Garba Shehu the same man that sued Twitter will say something reasonable, he has hit the nail on the head....
The next step is for the Fulani elites to educate their kinsmen on ranching and help understand that their age long roaming around the bush is outdated and there is need for them to embrace the modern way of doing business....
Their herding business is not as big as herding in Texas and what they do is ranching and everyone lives in peace.....
Is it Garba Shehu or Adamu Shehu. I think they are two different people
If you didn't read, here you go "We struggled for this government to come to power but it could not satisfy our needs. We have said the truth on the past governments and this is our government and we have to say the truth no matter what. It is our responsibility to tell our government the truth.”
He said APC as a party is presently dwindling and that effort has to be made to rescue it from collapse, adding that “I am now an old member of the party. I’m waiting for new registration to commence so that I will register myself again.”
Agadinaagwuofe: Very correct! In as much as I support his agitation but the security forces are going to clamp down heavily on him and I fear if care is not taken he may go "gana" way.
Looking at the tribe he comes from, Yoruba being a major tribe and stakeholder in Nigeria, he may not go the Gana way. The security outfits and FG will be very cautious, anything drastic and the situation will escalate beyond easy control
It is actually scary to go out these days. I am not really surprised, l knew we were going to be in hotter soup compared to before, when hoodlums burnt down police stations, broke prisons and set criminals free during endsars protest. To be honest, this protest cost us more harm than good, nothing tangible was achieved, police are still the same brutalizing and killing civilians, crime rate skyrocketed after the protest. One is just living day to day
rockyh: in a sane and orderly societies, there are no death trap holes as express way else why will there be room for one way if all the roads are vehicle worthy and free from traffic
No na, do a simple google check about traffic snares in developed cities and you will discover Lagos traffic is a learner against some cities in USA, China etc. This auctioning of cars, I believe came up when other options such as fine failed to yield results.
Beremx: Is the bolded not what DJ Switch is advocating for? Are you both not saying the same thing?
No they are not. Let me ask you, assuming your car was impounded and you were found guilty, will you prefer letting go of the car or spending three years in kirikiri prison?
plaindealer: This is not about your own personal opinion, this is about obeying the law and and playing your part as a responsible member of the society.
Obey the law and they won't impound and auction your car, simple.
Btw, the penalty for driving against the traffic is 3 years in prison so which do you prefer? 3 years in prison or your car?
Help me ask him. Even if it is 1 month, I will forfeit the car. Nigerians are mostly the cause of their problems. Why on earth do they like driving one way
Beremx: so auctioning the car of the traffic offender is a good way of prosecuting someone who killed people? What happened to arresting the traffic offender and sending him to jail?
If I am to choose between going to jail and auctioning my car, I will choose the later without hesitation. Go to jail say wetin happen? This kind Nigerian jails.
aycorporat: When will this stop or why is it taking eternity to end this insurgency?
Nigerian troops have been to Mali, Somalia, Liberia, Sierra Leone etc and they performed well.
What is it with the rag tag insurgents disturbing the Nigerian peace? Haba!
What do you mean by rag tag insurgents? Google the rating of BH among terrorist in the world and you will understand the severity of the situation. Terrorism fight is not an easy fight anywhere in the world no matter how advanced your military is. Those countries you mentioned are still battling with it till date, with even french soldiers killed in Mali last year. Certainly, the fight will linger on for a while
ipobarethieves: so wic melicine u use cure am dear? We need to help those in abroad to recover too.Dnt be stringy with dis.Pls tell us the melicine u take cure am
So who says those in abroad are all dying and not recovering?
Racoon: Another scam loading. After Ahmed Sirika-the president's kinsman launched the logo of this same imaginary airline in London for #1.5B & all the lies Lai Mohammed used to cover up the matter while no one have been punished? Go learn from Ibom Air how to float & sustain an airline
Go and read the news na, haha. What you are saying is totally offpoint
The same thing that happened to the old one will happen to this also
why don't many people read before commenting? Which old one? Have this company ever launched an airline before? Go and read, this is a private business like air peace
Lawalemi: What's his Twitter handle? This matter should not slide because Buhari is guilty as accused and he said worse things before becoming president.
I agree with you, he said worst things, but again you will ask yourself, who had the responsibility to arrest him and why he was not arrested? People don't commit offence and arrest themselves. I always blame the authorities that did not live up to their responsibilities
MondayOsunbor: Oga if the guy wrote Hausa name as his twitter handle and make the same comment
Nothing will happen
Don't bring the tribal angle here, find another means to exonerate him. I have read here on nairaland how a man from Katsina was arrested for insulting the president on facebook. He was hausa but was still arrested against your claim. It was even public outcry that let him off hook. It is not about tribalism all the times
Exmilitant: Should i believe this? At least names and photos of those affected should be displayed as done in saner climes. Abi our own covid-19 na audio alone?
This is what is happening in Yaba’s Infectious Disease Hospital (Mainland Hosptial) now. This CACOVID ward was previously empty.
godstino: No. But the Op yesterday erred when he said Nigeria Dentists suggest only extraction. That was a fallacy of hasty generalization.
Please do not mind ignorant Nigerians. I read the fallacies on the other thread with amazement. I am not a dentist but I have got dental problems. I extracted once and there was no redemption for tooth as it totally went bad. Last year ending, I was in a dental hospital, had X-ray, did washing as well. The dentist examined the x-ray and gave me the options available, infact he even strongly advised me against extraction for the tooth I thought we should extract. So don't believe all these stories. Some are even saying they extract to make money, meanwhile RCT is costlier, so it doesn't add up at all
cassyrooy: I captured in 2013 and collected in 2018 (it was issued in same 2018l and it will expire in 2023.
Mine is here with me and I use it on a daily.
mine was not like that at all. I was even perplexed on why an ID card that has a 5 year lifespan should spend 3 years with the issuer already and the user will now have only two years to use it. Both mine and my wife's at NIMC Ikeja
