babaolofin: In which of the barracks or campuses or estates has that ever happened? A car and the victim moving in opposite direction and stopped, reversed in the direction of the moving object (the lady) at a take - off speed less or equal to 40km/hr, and the impact on the metallic object with a bumper is as shown. Even a dog or goat has not been killed in an estate or barracks or campuses like that. Please the preliminary report by the airforce is out there, read it very well. She hit her head on the pavement after falling. A moving car at 5 or less Km/h can exert enough force to knock any human being down. And do you know that, a simple slip in your bathroom can easily kill you? It depends on the force of fall and where your head lands as well as the impact. If you are hitting your head on concrete with significant impact, then you are at great risk of losing your life. Recently, a friends car in navy town barracks had an accident and damage three other neighbourrs cars. It was unbelievable but it happened. An army commanding officer was recently killed in Benue, while his friend was reversing his car to pick him up. Accidents can happen, it takes a marginal error in a split second for that to occur. |

Kalubolt: It's still a mirage to me as to how that reversing of car kill her. My question is: was there no one around the area when the car was reversing, cus even if she wasn't looking, some other people would have shouted stop stop to the driver or shouted at the lady to watch out. I am driver and I know what I am saying. While reversing, even if it is common bucket or anything like that I want to hit, you will hear shout of people saying hey hey hey talk less of human being. Except no one was there which I doubt. . Now according to the information given to us by the NAF, they said after hitting her from the reverse, the driver still continue reversing till he climbed her or is it crushed her they said. Now how is that possible, is the driver a mad man or lunatic that he wouldn't know he has hit something or someone the first time only for him to continue reversing and crushing her, and also wasn't he looking back to see her and know he has hit something or someone. . Even the occupants inside the car ought to know too and shout at him to stop stop. So many things didn't add up here abeg. . Anyways may the soul of the departed rest in peace I think you are the one overthinking things here. This scenario can happen 100%, it happened so many times in the past, it has happened to her and it will still happen in the future. So many times, cars have crushed people using front wheels and the car's front generally, where the driver even has clearer views, than when reversing. What will you say goes wrong in those situations? The thousands of reason you will give apply to reversing, even worse. If you are reversing and hit something, how long does it take you to stop? half a second, a second, two or three? Before you stop on alert, you must have crush the person, depending of how they fall. A car doe not stop the way you are making me to believe. For me, this is an accident and it should be treated as such, just like they are treating it. Any conspiracy theories are the ones not adding up. |

Someone comes and claims that a medicament can work, just like that without doing invivo, invitro, animal and pause 1 to 4 testing.
We don't even know anything about the medicament's antiviral capacity, yet we must believe because not to believe means we are 'european slaves'
Look, all these European drugs that we use went through years of testing, first to establish if they work, then how they work, then if they can work safely in humans then if they do better than the existing drug.
But no,we must believe a Malagasy drug because it is African.
The next time someone brings a chemical that has not undergone any form of testing and markets it as Covid 19 medicine, it is fake until proven otherwise. I still remember how so many Nigerians insulted, drag and said all manner of nonsense to the FG concerning this thing. |

Were you not there when Bruno Fernandez stepped on an Aston Villa defender?
And what did the ref and VAR decide afterwards?
They said it was a penalty whereas it should have been a clear yellow or even red for the nonsense Bruno for diving and rough play.
When Ayew of Crystal palace scored, the same VAR said it was offside by millimeters.
Why?
Because it was Man fuckîng Chester United of all clubs, of course!
So my point is not really on whether Chelsea can help themselves or not.
My point is why MUST the VAR always be in favor or Manchester United no matter what? so where we're you when Romelu nearly cut off Greenwood ankle? Or was VAR on holiday? |

Howard Webb was their number one extra man on the pitch.
I will never forget that day in 2012 when he awarded them 2 penalties just to make sure Chelsea didn't win that game.
It ended 3 - 3 all thanks to Howard Webb.
Useless people.
Let me see how they will come and take fourth place. you already know how an, VAR and rafrees will help them. Is that why Lampard and you have been crying since? |

Ezeego1: Did VAR made a wrong decision or not?
You cannot foul someone on the 18yard box and you expect the refree to waive it off. So why did Var not send off Orio for his delibrate ankle cutting tackle on Greenwood vs Southampton? Where was Var when utd we're losing matches then? Why is it that VAR theory has popped when they are playing good football and scoring freely? Just answer these few questions |

Crime › CRIME AT OSHODI: How We Were Attacked by zikter(op): 11:49am On Jun 28, 2020 |
After scheduling an appointmentnt with a friend at Bogije(Lekki-Epe) expressway, I set out at about 6:00am from Ikeja axis. Shortly after climbing to connect Oshodi-Oworodonki express from the Agege motor road, I observed two boys standing by the roadside, in the early morning rain under an umbrella.
With the ongoing road maintenance along the axis in addition to the heavy rain, we were driving at a slow speed with some vehicles in our front trying to maneuver in the pools of water filled in potholes. Suddenly, the two boys started approaching my car, being familiar with the axis, I knew trouble was on the horizon. In an instant, one was already knocking on the passenger window where my wife was sitting. The other was approaching my side.
The two were frantically knocking and urging us to wind down. I was driving behind a private LT bus, luckily for us, there was a small opening to overtake the bus which was slowly going behind some vehicle. I quickly step on the gas pedal overlooking the many potholes filled with water. They only succeeded in landing a few punches on my car as I leave them in my wake.
The Lagos state government needs to step up security on that portion of the road. Many people have fallen victim to arm robbery there. Better still, a thorough and constant raid should be carried out in and around Oshodi through Cappa bus stop.
It will not be out of order to round up all these "almajiris" and take them to their various states and homes. Many have migrated from Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Ogun, etc, with no meaningful work aside stealing and robbing people of their valuables.
This is yet another clarion call on the government to wake up and do something. We escaped today but another person may not be that lucky. |
