I scanned and these were the code I got:
1) code p0118 engine coolant temp sensor circuit high
2
3) code p0102 mass or volume air flow A circuit
low

Would you be kind enough to help me figure out what this is and whats its function? Just found it laying out of place this morning on a 1995 Mercedes Benz c180. Though it seems to have been "out of place" for while, It looked broken and couldn't fit back as shown below. Car drives alright though.

It'll be great to receive swift response from this honorable house.

elektra80: Antilock Braking System (ABS) is a technology that prevents the wheels from getting locked in case of emergency braking. With ABS there's no need to pump the brake pedal, all u need do is press the brake hard and the computer will do the rest. This way u still have control over the vehicle and u can still swerve with ease because the wheels are not locked.

Without ABS, at high speed and need for emergency brake, the wheels will get locked when the brake is pressed hard thereby making the driver lose control over the vehicle. Once wheels are locked, there's no way to control the vehicle, this leads to accidents. Many cars on Nigeria roads have this ABS light on and they are ignored because most mechanics don't even understand what it is. Pls watch the videos attached and have a better understanding

My 94' camry jerks when ever in reverse or in drive and has become a bit more pronounced of late.may I know the problem and possible solution please.also can it be due to ECM problem posted by earthrealm awhile back.
A mechanic said its the engine seat.

Everfrank: I decide to change my Toyota Condor's 5L diesel engine with a tokunbo one. I have located a very clean one but with automatic injector- mine is manual injector. Can it be fixed on my car together with the automatic injector or must It be replaced with my old manual injector? Which option is better. Please I need advise.

Arizona1: The gear was not selecting before,whether D or R so they changed the fibres and it started working but later d reverse stop working.

Arizona1: Goodmorning guys,pls I worked on my '99 camry gearbox. Thereafter I used it only 4days and the issue of not engaging on reverse started but others engage and select well. If u put d gear on 'R' it'll be as if its on neutral but it'll show on d dashboard dat its on R. Wat could be d problem?

This car will get auctioned off, if the owner doesn't produce an insurance certificate, pay the towing charges, as well as daily storage fees. Once these fees mount up after a reasonable amount of time, the automobile will go up for auction.

All the British bureaucracy keep under wraps. Corruption and dishonesty isn't only a Nigerian trend.

I appreciate your comment but please pardon my confusion: are you then saying the manufacturer recommended 5W-20 is not good for the car in Nigeria?
But don't the manufacturers know that this cars would one way or the other find their way into this part of the world?
So which oil would you advise one to use for Honda Accord 2003?

matson: Can someone help me out:

My car went off yesterday while taking a bend and refuse to revv When it comes on. Had a mechanic to look up the problem But suggested we add some more fuel even tho my car had fuel to the 1/4 level. The car came on, revved quite alright, performed alright till same night, and same thing happened. I had to get more fuel to get the car going.

With a bit over a half tank, took car out today and same thing happened. Had to get additional 4 liters before the car could stay on and revv.

Any idea on what the problem might be before going to the mechanic tomorrow?

The car is a 2003 C240 W203. Also, a service B has been done but still display a 200 miles exceeded on service B.

Why ring the engine? You could easily pick up a low mileage engine for that car for less than 40k and save yourself all the wahala of incompetent mechanics and fake parts. Your old scrap engine could still fetch about 7k from scrap iron dealers.
