letristian: Too bad of Nigerian government at that time
But Ojukwu gave him some insights which he bluntly refused... Until his eyes opened when it was late The same is still going to happen to those that are refusing alliance thinking the Northerners are their brothers Truth is bitter is the reason they won’t accept that Nnamdi Azikiwe has to carry the can for the current Northern hegemony that has largely brought Nigeria to this sorry pass when he went into a selfish political alliance with the North. Till today they are struggling to wriggle out of the negative effects of that political alliance. |

Evii: Ken Sari Wiwa's last words in court before execution:
“My lord, We all stand before history. I am a man of peace, of ideas. Appalled by the denigrating poverty of my people who live on a richly endowed land, distressed by their political marginalization and economic strangulation, angered by the devastation of their land, their ultimate heritage, anxious to preserve their right to life and to a decent living, and determined to usher to this country as a whole a fair and just democratic system which protects everyone and every ethnic group and gives us all a valid claim to human civilization, I have devoted my intellectual and material resources, my very life, to a cause in which I have total belief and from which I cannot be blackmailed or intimidated. I have no doubt at all about the ultimate success of my cause, no matter the trials and tribulations which I and those who believe with me may encounter on our journey. Neither imprisonment nor death can stop our ultimate victory. I repeat that we all stand before history. I and my colleagues are not the only ones on trial. Shell is here on trial and it is as well that it is represented by counsel said to be holding a watching brief. The Company has, indeed, ducked this particular trial, but its day will surely come and the lessons learned here may prove useful to it for there is no doubt in my mind that the ecological war that the Company has waged in the Delta will be called to question sooner than later and the crimes of that war be duly punished. The crime of the Company’s dirty wars against the Ogoni people will also be punished. On trial also is the Nigerian nation, its present rulers and those who assist them. Any nation which can do to the weak and disadvantaged what the Nigerian nation has done to the Ogoni, loses a claim to independence and to freedom from outside influence. I am not one of those who shy away from protesting injustice and oppression, arguing that they are expected in a military regime. The military do not act alone. They are supported by a gaggle of politicians, lawyers, judges, academics and businessmen, all of them hiding under the claim that they are only doing their duty, men and women too afraid to wash their pants of urine. We all stand on trial, my lord, for by our actions we have denigrated our Country and jeopardized the future of our children. As we subscribe to the sub-normal and accept double standards, as we lie and cheat openly, as we protect injustice and oppression, we empty our classrooms, denigrate our hospitals, fill our stomachs with hunger and elect to make ourselves the slaves of those who ascribe to higher standards, pursue the truth, and honour justice, freedom, and hard work. I predict that the scene here will be played and replayed by generations yet unborn. Some have already cast themselves in the role of villains, some are tragic victims, some still have a chance to redeem themselves. The choice is for each individual. I predict that the denouement of the riddle of the Niger delta will soon come. The agenda is being set at this trial. Whether the peaceful ways I have favoured will prevail depends on what the oppressor decides, what signals it sends out to the waiting public. In my innocence of the false charges I face here, in my utter conviction, I call upon the Ogoni people, the peoples of the Niger delta, and the oppressed ethnic minorities of Nigeria to stand up now and fight fearlessly and peacefully for their rights. History is on their side. God is on their side. For the Holy Quran says in Surah 42, verse 41: “All those that fight when oppressed incur no guilt, but Allah shall punish the oppressor.” Come the day.” What speech! Nowhere did he mentioned the most critical factor of all - their leadership who betray the cause of the people! Interesting to know he was a Muslim and died quoting from the book he obviously believed in! Only if he knew! |

He fought the wrong person(s). They still are busy fighting the wrong person(s). The right person(s) to fight are their royal fathers and folks who collect the royalties due from the oil majors only to buy SUVs and travel to Abuja where they spend it all on prodigal endeavours such as women of easy virtues, alcohol, and unproductive hotel bills. The moment the money finishes they pawn the SUV for a pittance and return home penniless only to steer up another round of “resource control agitation”! Others will pick up money belonging to all only to invest it elsewhere building Universities that bring no immediate benefit to the communities where the oil comes from. Travel to Port-Harcourt through the Southwest and you will be brought near tears at the sight of the manifest suffering and deprivation the typical citizen there goes through daily and late into the night! Very annoying!!! |

OK2NVME: They planned and organised this mission from over 6,000km away in the Pentagon.
Deployed drones from their base in Niger to give them constant surviellance and communication hook up to their satellites way up in the Sky.
Had their aircraft carrier on the gulf of Guinea with Jets ready to be scrambled to give air cover in case the target area gets swamped by tangos.
They then flew their star boys all the way from the US military base in Germany onboard the USAF Globemaster from where they parachuted from 25,000ft down to a location less than 3miles to the location where they hooked up with local assets who had provided transportation closer to the main location.
Meanwhile back at the US Drone base in Niger, Delta Force team were on standby with 4 Blackhawks and two gunships waiting for the go. Their job was to pick up the team and the rescued hostage at a designated pickup point 5 clicks from the target location and if the mission goes wrong act as back up forces to the seal team with the reaper drone coming in hot on any advancing enemy tangos .
Seal Team makes it to location.
Goes in clean.
Secures hostage and calls in Big Eagle
Team makes it down to pick up point and in less than 1 minute Ranger pickups arrive and we have birds in the sky.
Mission accomplished. .
Our olodo idiots will first shoot everything that moves including goats from 10km of the location. All things considered NIGERIA has no armed forces worth calling one! |

Boblorhd: How much do you spend on Data monthly? Much right? Like me, before, I spend about 5000 on Data monthly and this can be very frustrating as the data is still not enough. But after I learnt a trick, I haven't subscribed in a while.
Do you know that with an airtime as little as 500, you can accumulate a lot of data with just some simple process. This is what I have been doing and I haven't subscribed.
Here is the good news for you, I have provided a detailed video that will show you step by step on how to do this.
How much does it cost? I won't be charging much, with just 1000, you can access this Videos and get to know this trick. Reach out to mw or continue to spend your money on Sub that is not enough for you. As a bonus for the video I will teach how to get unlimited airtime too and also get some hacked Apps(WhatsApp Spy App, Dstv, Netflix and others)
I have a 100% money back guarantee, I will refund you if it doesn't work and this as never happened before because its legit. This is not a cheat code that network providers will block, it actually a legit process.
Think about it, reach out to mw or continue to spend on Sub.
If interested, reach out to me on 09017609056 or use my signature link “and also get some hacked Apps(WhatsApp Spy App, Dstv, Netflix and others)”
