Politics › Re: PDP Sponsoring EndSARS Protests - APC by zoedew: 10:04am On Oct 22, 2020
Shut up APC! Assuming but not conceding to the claim of APC it remains true that APC is a causative factor. I'm not a partisan politician but will speak out even if arrested for saying the truth! President Buhari has built on Jonathan's legacy of misgovernance. President Buhari serially violates the constitution and neglects to rein in the Fulani herdsmen killing others with impunity when the simple solution is to have them ranch via BOI loans. Instead, he is trying all means in the National Assembly to grab land belonging to other Nigerians as grazing land via a deceitful water bill et al.

Very similar to how King Louis of France was chased out of his place and France became a Republic! One day the Army will not be there to rescue any King if they won't change and be on the side of the people to provide good governance and stand against misgovernance. The system caused all of these. Meanwhile, The President sits in the FEC clearly abusing the Constitution yet taking the benefit of the office. Experience, they say is the best teacher for who refuses to apply what is known in the correct manner and in good time! Sadly, there are few and hardly heard voices speaking up in the North in favour of restructuring of Nigeria. They are probably yielded to their elders who wrongly give it to them that the heritage of power they secured for them is about to be taken away from them! The question is, what benefit has the power brought them except for the very few Northerners with access to power squandering our commonwealth! Over time while the misgovernance, corruption, herdsmen killings, injustice, nepotism, police, and military abuse was going on The President and The National Assembly pretended not to know Nigeria was fast becoming a failed State. The Citizenry screamed loudly Nigeria was fast becoming a failed State but Lai was insistent we were lying but it is clearer now more than ever before that Lai is a liar!

Address which useless yooots? Hypocritical yooots? When this whole thing started, he addressed Nigerians on the ongoing SARS reform but you guys said it's a lie, he was deceiving you guys. What else do you want? The protests were being hijacked by hoodlums and you guys(peaceful protesters) cried for help, curfew was imposed as a way to stop the madness..but you guys still defied tjhe curfew, making the soldiers to shoot in the air with the hope that it will disperse the protesters. You called this massacre, even though till now you can't provide names of those massacred. This has led to destroying of many properties around the country...Now you guys are tired, you want him to address the nation. Address fire!
You will do well to calmly appraise the issues with less emphasis on the youths of the Nation. All you talk about is symptomatic of a deeper problem. See, there is a systemic rot in place in Nigeria whose stench disrupt good order. Truth is, Nigeria needs to be restructured as a matter of urgency into six geopolitical regional governments with a weak centre else something worse comes up. While not justifying the retaliation on the policemen you need to acknowledge the countless number of citizens the Nigerian police have tortured, robbed, killed, and failed to respond to in times of security challenges. That is one limb of the causes of the attitude of the citizenry you referred to as "madness".

is this too much?
Is there a congent reason why they shouldn't implement it?
The now no longer monolithic North of Nigeria would appear to not like the idea. Meanwhile politicians of the Southern extraction who look forward to succeeding Buhari are being careful to not speak in favour of restructuring so as not to fall out of favour with him. Self seeking politicians they are!

ONE OF THE MINISTER HAD TO RAISE IT OUT OF HIS INDIVIDUAL INNOCENCE IN PARLIAMENT.

BRITISH GOVERNMENT IS OUR NUMBER ONE PROBLEM, THEY STILL THINK NIGERIA IS A COLONY.

NOTICE TINUBU STARTED TALKING NONSENSE , AS SOON AS THE BRITISH CRIMINALS AND THEIF VISITED HIM.

U DONT UNDERSTAND BRIATIN IS USING FULANI TO STEAL OUR RESOURCES.

IN CRIMINAL LAW IT IS CALLED, JOINT ENTERPRISE.

BOTH FULANI AND BRITAIN ARE INVADERS AND COLONISERS.

THEY ARE FOREIGNERS.

WE MUST TAKE OUR COUNTRY AND CHASE THEM AWAY NEVER TO RETURN.

WE JUST LOST SOME OF OUR VOICES TONIGHT, SOME OF US FRIENDS, SOME OF OUR BROTHERS, SISTER, MOTHER, FATHER AND CHILDREN.

WE CANNOT ALLOW FULANI AND BRIATIN TO GO SCOT FREE.
In international politics Nations act in consonance with their interests so Britain is at liberty to pursue any policy she deems in her best interests in relating with Nigeria. It is up to Nigeria to seek her own interests as well.

I have always said that Nigerian Police is not your friend contrary to what they say! Take it with a pinch of salt when they say so! There was once a Jude at Osun State SARS. Folks who tasted his SARS Brand will at the mention of his name to the hearing of their subconscious persona and in their sleep wake up with a start sweating!

Fayose will do well to not find his voice in this season! He is one of the worst specimen of leadership garbage that makes Nigeria stink! If he appears in any of these protesting crowd worth calling one they’ll march him to the Bastille Saint-Antoine where the guilotine might be waiting for his empty head! Arrant nonsense! He insults our intelligence as Nigerians!! He made the EKITI ashamed to be indentified as one when he rode on the hunger ravaged condition of the people to become Governor!

Please go beyond the surface meaning of my post and you will get my drift! If you studied so hard to get a degree and couldn’t a job and decided to access a loan to become an agricpreneur trusting in the promise of government to provide land only for the same government to do a policy summersault leaving you with an unpaid MicroFinance bank loan: you will see things differently! One is likely to be more rabid! I just told you a true life story!

Politics › Re: Gbajabiamila, Fayose, Soyinka React To Lekki Shootings by zoedew:
Gbajabiamila’s middle name must be Janus! He is here making a political statement in response to a very serious issue which has so far been left undebated in the National Assembly as if it meant nothing serious to them. He lives in yesterday. He should soon be rudely awakened from his self-induced slumber!!! I doubt very much he has read “A Tale of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens. It should be the story of Nigeria unless Gbajabiamila and his co-travellers in the National Assembly restructure Nigeria to provide for a six geopolitical regional governments and a weak centre. That is the only way to deal with the imbalance, injustice and misgovernance that presently ravages Nigeria. It won’t continue for long!

See as oba take jakpa!! grin

And when u hear them roar and give orders here, one would think they've got liver.......

Truly there's power in unity.....No wonder the government always tends to employ the "divide and rule tactics" all the time...!

#No government is powerful than a United people#.......SOMEONE SHOULD GRAB HIM BY HIS BALLSS!!
Fake picture! That was back then at the National Assembly Abuja when the legislooters were tackling a lockout in the ongoing story of misgovernance of Nigeria

About time traditional rulers and the institution identify with the people and not politicians. One hopes lessons are being learnt going forward! A Tale of Two Cites by Charles Dickens is about the Nigerian Story. King Louis of France suffered a similar fate and his Kingdom went up in flames. Obas in Nigeria would appear to have another chance to make up or be marked down!

I get your drift. I sincerely hopes the seemingly conscienceless one listens. Nigeria surely deserve better than the present goings on. I can tell anyone who cares to listen for free that most Nigerians in Diaspora would prefer to be home making their worthy contributions than out there slaving it out to be tolerated!

About time the government is called to account. Over time I have noticed President Buhari thinks much about the International Community especially because that’s the fora where he comments on National affairs. I’m in the hope he listens and restructures the country to have six geopolitical regions and a weak Centre at Abuja- reduce the cost of governance by slashing the sinful allowances of the legislature.
