Islam for Muslims / Moslems Are To Take The Lead For World Peace by Frizy(m): 10:01pm On Jul 15, 2014
Salam brothers and sisters in Islam. It's being a long time I posted on nairaland. Anyone who remembers me will know how often I post in this session. Anyway, not to talk too long. All is well and fine with me. I hope you are happy and well also.

Since 2012, I had an inspiration from Allah on the need for there to be peace in the world. The world of politics, religion, business and social life are often viewed and experienced with confusion and argument. Humans often don't agree on the same things. This causes chaos and instability to our world. And as we know, with all the wars, genocide and disasters happening to mankind, we need to begin solving these problems.

I have written a book titled: World Peace, an excerpt on how to achieve World Peace. I have advocated within the book that all humans, regardless of their race, gender or social background come together-- work together to make our world better.

If you are interested in purchasing the book, you can download it on Amazon, here is the link: http://amzn.com/B00LTOJ0KM

Also I have founded an organization named: The World Peace Project. This group aims to address the woes in society and urge on those who can correct the wrong to take action by the principles of peace, love and understanding.

Hi, it's being a long time I posted on nairaland. I have gone through changes over the last two years. Not to talk too much, there is a pressing topic of discussion I had in mind since 2012. It's about uniting our world and making the human race prosper in happiness and oneness, regardless of their race, tribe or social background. That is what World Peace is about. There will be no more wars, and it is my hope that politicians and business people begin to serve people genuinely and selflessly.

I wrote a book on the topic titled: World Peace, an excerpt on how to achieve World Peace.

If you have an interest in purchasing the book, you can visit: http://amzn.com/B00LTOJ0KM

If you rather want to discuss how World Peace is attainable, feel free to pass your comments.

muyenmuyen: l hope all would be well at d end of all these diseases holding our first lady. is there no balm in gelea?then why is the health of our ist lady not recovered? where are our traditional doctors? does is means no solution at all? where are our pastors? what do they do to help this woman?

So far, there is no cure to Parkinson. Although Google co-founder Sergey Brin, is spending a lot of money on research to reduce how the disease manifest itself along with some other Pharamaceutical companies. That guy went for a DNA test and they detected he has the gene with Parkinson, which he inherited from his mum. Right now he doesn't have it yet, but with age, it will manifest. He has spent about $100 million or even more on the research. So that the medication for Parkinson can reduce the effect it has on sufferers.

I don't know why it is only Nigeria, everybody has the belief that once someone suffers from an illness or disease that may not be common, the answer is witch doctor, babalawo, Imam or Pastor.

We cannot develop as a nation if our mindsets are still like this. White people suffer from Parkinson, Red or Asian also suffer, so do blacks.

Let us see things in their true light without supersition. By the way, am a Muslim, and I practice my religion. I don't believe Allah or God inflicted a punishment on the First Lady, it's just her genetic make-up. Simple.

acidtalk: Wooow!!!
God gives;
Life and Death
Riches and Poverty.
Health and Sickness.
Joy and Sadness. But one thing is innevitable. What ever a man sows so shall he reap (good or bad).

You can loot all the money of a nation but God can also decide to remove every joy in your home. If you think of less than 1% out of a 100% then be prepared that God will take 99% of your joy and leave you with 1% which is the money you think is more important than the inner most joy.

Will the same Nigerians who you made life difficult for since you came in power have a single second to remember you and your family in prayers? No sir! But they will be very quick to curse you because they are not happy.

All the same, God knows best. I wish her quick and safe recovery. Because this might just be an opportunity to really know that Money can nver buy Health or Happiness (especially when it is stolen funds).

Karma! Karma!! Karma!!! I fear the
w

I don't want to say anything much, but it seems you are mentally deranged. No offense. What does God have to do with Parkinson? Did God inflict this pain on the first lady because she stole Nigeria's money. Fool! Parkinson can happen to the most righteous man in the world, and it can happen to the most wicked. It is a genetic disorder, not God's punishment. Think! We live in the 21st century!

Good point. I agree with somethings said, but not all. Like the issue of trying to compete with Paris Hilton. I have a wealthy father, but one thing which I don't really used to like about him, was that he did not give me all I wanted. I was trained to be an ordinary person without excessive priveledge of the super rich. But anyway, that could be paying off, now I do some work that earn what will make me comfortable. I did not get the jobs through my dad's influences, but because of God, and my constancy to hardwork and becoming successful.

Man removes own Testes with broken bottle !

What is the worth of a mans scrotum? This is the question that Mr. Toyin Ibitoye has been battling with. After losing all his investments in a business transaction, he attempted suicide by piercing his own scrotum. While the police prepare to charge him to court, his medical doctor describes it is as a psychiatrist case. AKINWALE ABORISADE writes Ibitoye on his sick bed. Inset: Stone battered head.

For Dauda Abimbola, a night guard at Oke-Offa area of Ibadan, Oyo State, every night comes with a peculiar horror.

But the horror that struck in the wee hours of Sunday, August 5, 2010 was such that kept him brooding all day long. This is because of the absurd manner in which it came.

It was night as usual in the area. At 12:30 a.m. the rustic city had gone to sleep. Baba Isale area of Oke-Offa was calm and still, with no humans on the street but for the guard on patrol. Only the intermittent chirping of birds and crickets intruded the tranquillity of the night-time. Suddenly, a long, painful groan rent the air. Abimbola cautiously walked down to the direction of the noise. A huge figure (a man) was lying helplessly on the floor, writhing in pain in the pool of his blood.

Could it have been a gunshot or a knife stab? The stranger was soaked from the buttocks down to his feet. Toyin Ibitoye was obviously not calling for help; rather, he was only groaning as a result of the excruciating pain.

Abimbola made a distress call to the police. Soon after, a patrol team came to convey the agonising young man to a hospital in the neighbourhood. There, the doctor confirmed that the young man was actually on a suicide mission. He had inflicted some injuries on himself, using every object that came his way.

Ibitoye said, "I attempted to take my own life by throwing up huge stones that landed on my head." As each stone landed on his clean shaven head, it left a deep sore on it. But not done with that, Ibitoye broke a bottle, stripped himself naked and pierced his scrotum with it. He forcefully removed the two testes in a manner that caused him much agony that made him to cry and quiver.

Police investigation however revealed that this is not the first time Ibitoye would be making an attempt to take his own life.

Weary and utterly disappointed as a result of a business deal turned sour while living in Lagos, the embattled man was said to have made several attempts on his own life. He had lost his life savings, with barely nothing left. He also lost his customers monies in the failed oil business.

To him, all hope was lost. And the only way out, he opined, was to end it all by committing suicide. He had, ever since, been trying to kill himself; but it had been unsuccessful. Worried by Ibitoyes dangerous behaviour, his parents relocated him to their base in Ibadan so that he could be under their close watch. But, the huge burden in his heart outweighed what parental love could cure. He continued to look for a way out.

The last attempt he made in a desperate quest for death was in the early hours of Sunday when everybody was fast asleep and no one could interrupt him. Again, he did not succeed. Rather than lose his life, he only lost his testes. He presently nurses a festering sore between his legs on the hospital bed. He said, "After removing my testes, I threw them away somewhere at Ode-Aje (area of Ibadan)." When SUNDAY PUNCH visited Bembow Hospital, Ibadan, where he was receiving treatment, Ibitoye was writhing in pain, with swollen scrotum. He painfully recalled the desperate action he took in an attempt to kill himself in order to be free from lifes challenges, saying, "I pierced my scrotum with broken bottle and forcefully removed my testes."

Four hours after committing the dastardly act, Ibitoye was wheeled into the theatre at Bembow Hospital. He underwent a four-hour surgical operation, and though he came out alive, he was still in a depressed mood. His grief was not just as a result of the pain he went through, but especially because of his failed efforts to end his own life.

Now, he lies on the hospital bed almost half-minded. His words are incoherent: This minute, he will reflect on his ordeal; the next, he will bring up a topic that is totally unrelated to what he said earlier, especially when attempting to answer questions posed to him.

While responding to questions from our correspondent, he said he attempted suicide but he did not explain what led him to it. He said, "I jumped into the well, but they brought me out. I did many things but death would not come. It was painful but they treated me and the pain has reduced."

His father, a native of Ajase-Ipo, Kwara State, told the police that Ibitoye had a failed deal with some of his business partners in Lagos. According to the old man (name not given), his sons capital (amount not mentioned) and his customers money were involved in the business.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Oyo State Command, Ms. Olabisi Okuwobi, said the mans action was criminal and the act was typical of a man who is incapable of facing the challenges of life.

The Divisional Crime Officer 1, Agugu Police Station, Ibadan, Mr. Ayoola Olawole, who noted that the man had the tendency to attempt to take his own life again after recuperating, said the suspect would be charged to court. He explained that there was no basis for anybody to make an attempt on his own life or that of others, irrespective of the circumstances; as such actions are against the law.

The Medical Director, Bembow Hospital, Dr. Abimbola Kuteyi, who explained the procedure carried out on Ibitoye said, "We did surgery on the two sides of the scrotum, though he pierced himself on just one (right) side. He caused harm to the sperm duct. In medical term, we carried out bilateral orchiectomy repair of sperm duct."

According to Kuteyi, Ibitoye can still have sex but can no longer make babies. If the session was not carried out on him, the doctor said, he might bleed to death. He explained that the patient suffered secondary inflammation of the scrotum because of the unsterilised broken bottle he used to pierce it.

The doctor, who said that not less than 20 per cent of the world population had one psychiatric problem or the other, said Ibitoye obviously had psychiatric problem. Kuteyi said, "In my diagnosis, I indicated that there was a stressor that gingered the psychiatric action in him. The patient still behaves irrationally and cannot easily identify people now.

"What happened in his case was as a result of depression. He suffered what we call loss of mood and self respect. He is fed up with the environment, so he wants to commit suicide. This is, however, treatable with anti-depressant."

Will it then be right to charge Ibitoye to court, being a mentally unbalanced and traumatised individual? The doctor said no; while the law enforcement agents have a different perception.

No doubt Kinect has far more superior technology and functionality to the PS3 move, whoever tells you move will be better is simply a fanboy. Sony has taken a safe route creating the move because it's less expensive, the success of the wii remote puts the move in an atmosphere that is not that new, but safe to thread. As for the Kinect the venture is still new, and highly risky. Hardcore gamers may not want to play an additionally $130 to get the hardware. But yeah, if you play games for fun and you have friends or family to share your living room, then Kinect may be good for you.

Guys don't let us be too happy yet. With the constant forced firmware upgrade, the usb chip may stop working. Second, I hope the chip being a usb will not make Sony to detect your PS3 is modified while the USB is removed. I hope it works like a plug and play device. lastly, for about $160, I don't think that chip is cheap, let them bring it down to about $60. Everybody can get it then.

One more thing, remember that you will not use a blank dvd to play the PS3 games, but a blank blu-ray disc. Except you get a very cheap one, the prices start from $6.00. With the game on it, PS3 games may still cost about N1500 in Nigeria.

impossible no war game can beat MW2 for NW

Well from what I seen in reviews, it's like a mix of battlefield bad company and modern warfare. And besides, the kill streak is not like modern warfare where you have 5 kill streaks under 2 mins. The spawn system is better, and it's harder to kill people while online. The explosions are not that explosive, to me, I think that is realistic. Medal of Honor franchise was the very best first person shooter games as in war theatre games. If you remember Medal of Honor '95 and '98 on the playstation. In fact it was call of duty that started imitating medal of honor till they changed their war theme from world II to the battle in Kabul and more recent events. Medal of Honor has also taken that step now.

check out this video of the game am talking about.

you are misinformed. . . modded consoles can also go on Live.

Pally, take it or leave it am not new in gaming okay? Get your modded xbox 360 to play a pirated modern warfare on xbox live and see if you won't be banned. You may say I can stealth etc, your xbox will eventually be banned and you won't be able to play online. This is a fact, I know people who were banned they had to get another 360 for online gaming.

the xbox360 has better exclusive titles than the ps3. . . FACT!

Pally, quality is better than quantity. Check out games like Uncharted 2, the upcoming Gran Turismo, Resistance, mod-racing (which have not played). Xbox 360 may have more exclusives, but please I am talking from the ratings of such exclusive, Uncharted for one as about 96 while Halo one of Xbox's greatest exclusives has only 93.

JESUS WEPT!!! this must be the most preposterous statement i've read all year. do you have any idea how much rrod has cost Microsoft? Bill Gates will personally slap you if he reads that! grin

Just an opinion, no company will claim they made profits by repairing or replacing bad consoles, but also think of those people who had to deal with getting another xbox console since they don't have the privilege of replacement at no cost. This rings another bell, people think the success of any console is how much was sold-- in this case xbox sold more, but the 2005 release is a counting factor, and also the buying of two of the system for people who owned.

Look I have being a big-fan of microsoft, but you know what they don't care about you. When they released the Zune HD, you will think. At last the best alternative to the iPod touch. But since it's date of release till now, no apps. For over a year. You just have an mp3 player confused to be a pocket PC. Microsoft ensures you invest your money, and cut your line off, when they have a new product.

Do you know how the killed the original xbox, by just stopping the game line the day xbox 360 was released. But PS2 that was released since 2000, is still having a few games released even till this day. An example is syphon filter. You may say I didn't address your point, but what am saying is Microsoft doesn't care much about the consumer, they care in the best market, once there is a new technology they forget the past.

Now spare me of the windows XP update, would you?

syntax error!!! like the ps3, all xbox360s in production have built in wi-fi.

From what my friend naijalodge quoted, his xbox360 can never be among those having built in wifi, if he uses the elite, it does not have a wifi built in but uses the LAN. And the new xbox, aka slim was just released maybe Feb 2010 (am not sure) with Wifi. That is not the system you have, neither does he, so please, spare me the built in wifi issue please.

TRY AGAIN

It is you that should try hard. grin

I have being fair, don't let all those people who follow one brand of a company deceive you. I am not a fan-boy of any, if Apple releases a console today, and I see that it is better than the rest, I will get it. I don't follow Sony, nor Microsoft, nor even Apple. I judge based on what I know as true and better.

Gaming / Re: E310: New Xbox 360 Destroys Disks When Moved by Frizy(m): 2:21pm On Aug 02, 2010
@naijalodge

I feel you. But the UI of the ps3 is better than the xbox360. And the games made exclusively for the ps3 are something you could buy a ps3 for. I know the graphic processor of  the xbox 360 has an edge over the ps3's but the cell processor also covers it up. The problem ps3 is having with multi-platform games like call of duty, need for speed is that  the xbox 360's hardware architecture is united, while the ps3 is some what  divided into stages. Developers are not willing to take the full use of  ps3 complex hardware and thus use limited sections of it, which means the xbox360 unified system pays of.

About the economic system, yes it is xbox360 since you can mod it, if at least you are willing to  boycott xbox live services, and it will be the best system in Nigeria as I guess. But ps3 is a great system as far as am concerned, and I prefer the ps3 above xbox360. Am not a consumer who necessarily seeks to mod my system to play copy games, since I will not get all my services right, most important the online service. I don't really get how you bought a ps3 and stopped working just  3 weeks after its purchase. Ps3 systems are the most reliable system between the two consoles. I had an original xbox, and it had a red-ring problem after 4 years from purchase, this will not make me get another xbox360 when the systems are having such problems. It may be a way which may be cynical, but Microsoft may do this to make you get another system after the first is purchased. Consider modding your xbox360 and then having a red-ring after, you guarantee is void, and they will not repair it. And again you cannot use the xbox live.

If you are considering titles like God of war, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear, Drake, all these exclusive titles will make you get a ps3, with movies in high-definition thanks to the blu-ray and sony's partner in media content. If you want a lasting system, get a ps3. You can get an xbox360  considering your money, and having fun just by yourself. There are also exclusive titles such as Halo (if you like that), Forza e.t.c.

But if you are really bucked up, get the two systems, and if you put the two systems down, without putting to consideration modding, ps3 is better. Although the xbox live service seem better, since it's paid for, but playstations' is free and also not that bad.

Don't forget that your version of xbox will not have a built in wifi, ps3's have this, at least the slims.

I rate the ps3: 6/6 stars and xbox 360 5/6 (without considering the mod-chip, which should lower it's rating from a manufacturer stand point)

Peace out!

Politics / Re: Global Warming Fraud Finally Exposed by Frizy(m): 6:54pm On Dec 09, 2009
It's being a long time I have commented on this forum. To be objective, global warming is not a fraud, but the causation is a fraud. Pseudo-scientists that brand themselves as climatologist have all gathered there strength to defend their argument that the cause of the earth getting warmer is the CO2 emission. However, this is a fraud, the seas and oceans emits far more C02s than the industries we have today. Secondly, the falling of glaciers and ice caps have nothing to do with C02, what the main cause of the warming is, is very simple; the sun is getting hotter.

The gases that make up the Sun are reacting giving more radiations that form the solar spots. In history during the 15th century, Europe recorded a colder temperature. And after that time, about the 16th century, the continent became warmer, not because of the carbon dioxide because industrialization did not start, but because the sun emitted lesser radiation at the previous, and more at the latter. What caused the ice age to come to an end?Was that CO2 also

I don't have a problem with America and it's friends worrying about their emission. But what has Africa got to do with this? We don't even have the technology to go green on a massive scale because it's too expensive. Let them just tax themselves, but avoid looking into Africa.

If their lands gets flooded they say it's global warming. Was it global warming that caused heavy rains in Philipness, mountain slides in Xauglion that shallowed a whole village. Was it? They take the name of their Lord away, and say global warming caused it.

Confused scientist, and unthinking listeners.

Happy to hear that 50% Nigerians will make heaven.

So Jesus has now promised you God's heaven if you worship him as a son. And you deem that if 50% were Christians they are the true inhabitants of Paradise. These are just your own sayings. The losers will surely be those who loss their souls while they deem they are on the right course.

@Banom

I as much I have avoided exchanging blows as a combat with disbelievers in general. I can't but say something now. The faith you accepted is not the true faith. I swear by the Creator whom you realized created you (as you said in your original post). It's one thing to know you have a Creator, but it's another to know there is no Divine Creator except God alone. Don't let the Christians who deceive themselves that a man is there god fool you that he is God, Christ is not God. God created Christ. That is whom I serve, and all faithful believers. You can check my profile and play some videos of the Qur'an spoken in English. There is no doubt that God is the speaker. God categorical says those who ascribe Him having a son, will surely be brought to doom. That is because they are lying. Do you want to suffer a similar fate. I pray not.

So instead of finding solace in that is not true, become a worshipper of God Only. Asking Him for somethings, and seeking the ways of the prophets. Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammad. They all served God alone, and none aught to be worshipped besides this true King of all. I will quote a verse from the Qur'an it says:

Allah hath not chosen any son nor is there any other god along with Him, else would have each god sought a way against the Throne, and some would have assuredly championed others. Glory be He from what they associate with Him!

Question: Is Nigeria a Failed State?

You are still asking. That's why I have abandoned everything about the country, and turned to flee. From the country to it's websites (including nairaland). Because am a Muslim I don't want to say this, but I have lost all hope of the country ever recovering. Each time I talk to people about positive development, they (Nigerians) say otherwise.

Answer: It's a failed state, only that it's inhabitants are unaware of it.

Abuzola:

Can't you conquer her and make her a muslim ? Guy you need to act smart like real guys.

Will be right back

Things like this is easier said than done, from my personal experience it is hard to change a female friend to become Muslim. If you are not careful enough, she would even invite you to come to church on Sunday. She will be like :"**** can you come with me this sunday? Please!"

You know all these gist my brother, desist. wink
