Please my brother my advice for you is to go to Canada. 25 years is a good age to immigrate. You want ur permanent residency to be easy. It's not so easy in the U. S especially the legal way. But with 20 million and even less you can process express entry or get admission in Canada and follow through with your permanent residency and citizenship. What NUC is now saying is that consultants must poccess PhD before they can lecture clinical students in courses like surgery, Paediatrics etc.
They are saying that a surgeon, a fellow of national and/or West African postgraduate college who has spent close to a decade to specialise in surgery needs to go get PhD to lecture surgery.

That sounds very stupid. There is no one more qualified to lecture medical students than a fellow.
