Beremx: haha lmaooo @ the emboldened, iffah hear, small time eezee biro sef go soon be 60naira. Please comman teach me Hausa ooo, don't air me sis. |
NDSMELODY:Nope, I don't think so. 1 + 4 = 5 (1 × 4 = 4; 4 + 1 = 5) 2 + 5 = 12 (2 × 5 = 10; 10 + 2 = 12) 3 + 6 = 21 (3 × 6 = 18; 18 + 3 = 21) 8+11=? (8 × 11 = 88; 88 + 8 = 96) Therefore, the answer is 96. The first commenter is right. |
InTheCloudySky:Me too. I dunno, there's something about it that gives me some kind of energy, can't explain it. That groove. |
lifeiscomplicat:Quite frankly, I understand that there are major challenges of doing business in Nigeria. Sorry about your experience, imagine if you had paid for the shop and one day you're set to go to the shop as usual only to meet it in ruins, your goods looted or damaged, indeed very devastating. May our efforts not be in vain. I wish you the very best in all your endeavors. You're welcome. |
Meel:MLS, you've done a great job breaking it down in layman's terms. God bless you. |
lifeiscomplicat:Lol OP, please do away with the "buts" and I think it's rather to early to start saying "if things don't work out" or are you planning for things not to work out? No right, then think positively. I see you only want a one-off financial support from your brother to start up something solid whereby you won't have any cause to ask him for help again. Well damn it, what if you need another help, lemme guess you may decide not to tell him orrr perhaps you'd ask, he'll either extend a helping hand or not, yhh that could happen but it's not set in stone. Just take things the way they are, don't go building castles in the air or feeling entitled. There are people who gave their sweat, tears and blood for their beloved to be successful in life but got nothing in return, not even gratitude for all the pain and troubles, and life just goes on and on. Some people do not care for anything in the world but themselves, can't fault them, I just do my bit and keep it going. Truth is, we will always somehow need help along life's path whether we think we will or not. How much time it would take to eventually get the help we need and from who is a totally different story. You're throwing shades like "he hasn't done for me as much as I did for him when we were struggling to get his visa, he doesn't want to kill his pride to help me, he doesn't want to provide huge money for better business", nahh bro c'monnn you're just making an issue out of nothing. That's how resentment starts building up. How are you so sure that things are going on well for him over there? The fact that he didn't ghost you and is actually offering to help you in whatever way he can shows that he acknowledges you. I'm struggling to come to terms with what you really want. Your brother doesn't want to give you huge money to start up a better business, how about you atleast try to find a way to make things work out even with the 1-2m for a start? You'd rather go with your last option which is joining him abroad and this is without any plan for sustenance and ultimately survival? You think people go to the abroad and boooom money starts falling all around them, then their only duty will be to pick 'em all up and abracadabra everything gets sorted out just like that?! It's not all sunshine and rainbows bro, people face serious challenges over there too. My advice is whatever you decide to do, please draw up plans, set them in motion and I'm sure you'll achieve those goals. Good luck! |
Truly, some departments have started lectures for their newly admitted PG students. Please try to visit your various departments to find out if lectures have been fixed for the current set or when likely lectures would commence, look out for someone on the inside who'd give you timely updates as well. Also, if there's a WhatsApp group for your department, please join for the purpose of sharing useful information. |

It shouldn't be so, considering that it's not even a spillover but then 30k is just too much and for one course. I don't know how things are being run in your school/department, maybe we wait for more inputs from nairalanders who at one point or other found themselves in same situation. |
Almost due to get a certificate in Forensic Engineering, does this mean you're about rounding up your degree program orrr you haven't made up your mind about going through with the program? Well, I think Forensic Engineering is a great course, challenging as it is. Why it may seem like a waste of resources is because there are little to no provision of better job opportunities here for graduates who towed that path. As regards employment, you should be a part of the regulatory architecture in various sectors/agencies like aviation, construction, science and technology. I don't know for sure but I'm hoping that there's an enabling environment for you to atleast practise and hone your skills here in Nigeria. |
Oh really, happy birthday to you. Wishing you more life, more happiness, more accomplishments in Jesus name. |
Why always so violent? Smh, I begin to wonder if that is part of their training, to become beasts and monsters. |
The truth is that your sister in-law cannot and maybe would never get over the fact that her husband(your brother) didn't just lay with another but impregnated her as well. She may have forgiven her husband but she really doesn't want to have anything to do with his child(the product of his infidelity), it's what she wants and her husband has no issue abiding by it, lemme guess he's trying to make peace after cheating on her, unfortunately he'll have to do that for the rest of his life. However, it's not in her place to say your family shouldn't be in the child's life. She's just really scared, that I know for sure. As the legally married wife, she doesn't want her children to be seen/treated as anything other than the legitimate offsprings of her husband. She wants y'all(her in-laws) to be on her side by refusing to relate with the other woman's child, that self-satisfaction that her in-laws only recognizes her & her children as theirs. I wish to commend the courage of your elder sister, she's right after all. To you and your brother, bless your souls for giving the little girl a birthday treat. Just like everyone, she deserves to be happy, she didn't ask to be caught up in this web. I really don't want to believe your sister in-law will cut all her in-laws off like that, that's like going overboard but if she does, then so be it, just leave her be. As for your brother, y'all don't be surprised when he starts giving off odd vibes. It will be tough ngl. |
From your previous post, I see that you've been sent for a chest x-ray. You really need to do that and maybe ECG, that's the starting point to unravel this mystery. To answer your second question, you can get it back to normal if you do certain things like all Healthyway15 advised. |
Oh sweet child, may God rest your soul and may your killers never know peace til they go under below. May God comfort your entire household in this difficult time. |
