According to the bible, the 2 primary roles of a man in the family are:

1. The man to show loving leadership over wife and children. Oversight of all matters in the home, both physical and spiritual. Spiritual leadership in family home Bible studies and prayers. The wife is the manager of the home, but the husband is the manager of the wife. (1 Tim 5:. When you manage your wife it means managing her resources, her as a person and the home. It means interacting with her to reach common agreement .

2. The man is the "breadwinner"( Works to make money to support family) . This means his wife earnings should NOT be considered in this matter. If she chooses to help with her earnings its a bonus but don't depend on it.

Poster should ignore all the childish advices on here and seek direction from the word of God .

It's early days in your marriage so take time to study and understand your wife so you can enjoy (and not endure) your marriage .

A good wife will never allow his hubby to do it all.....that is d essence of understanding in marriage and one of my reasons why i will never support woman being a full time housewife.

Tell me what right do you have as a woman to make a man kill himself just to make you happy? Its funny that telling the man the responsibilities to take care of doesn't make you less of a woman but when the man tells his wife what to do with her money, it makes him less of a man. With what you just said here, your wife is trying to tell you to be responsible based on your ability and capacity, to your family and not tell her what she should use her money for.
My advice: give her whatever you can afford and she will know how to spend it prudently, you will be surprised how shes gonna go a long way in making sure everything is in good shape in d house. To be honest with you, d day my hubby split d responsibilities and tell me which one to handle, is d day he will start to loose his respect in d house. Do what you can afford, and leave her with how and what she spend her money for.
A good woman will do anything to make sure you both succeed, what you just need is to trust her sense of reasoning.

Big lie. There is a big difference between black oil and natural gas produced from the ground and refined oil products and natural gas you see around. If you don't build refineries and gas processing plants, you will be deceiving yourself because no single aviation fuel will come out. JET A1 by the way is special grade of Kerosene with carbon content of C9 to C15 making it a liquid fraction, so you have to build refinery to separate the crude oil into its components to get the JET A1 fuel you're talking about.

What will give you a Nobel price in 1900 will certainly give you nothing in this era. I was indoctrinated with christian values as a child like every other Nigerian child. I used to be deeply involved in religious activities and even preaching in the public as a child because I was taught it is the right thing to do in order to avoid going to hell that was created by a supposedly loving God which is an irony to me. When I become an adolescent like 16 years ago, I discovered that people have been doing reasoning for me. With further probing of the entire system around me, I noticed that culture and belief system is a brainwashing process where people are instilled with values that are accepted as normal in their immediate environment while other foreign values are treated with contempt. That is why you will always see a correlation between religious beliefs and region of birth and upbringing. You will most likely be a Muslim if you were born in the middle east or Muslim family in Northern Nigeria. You will also almost certainly be a christian if you were born in Eastern Nigeria or America. You will also most likely be a Hindu if born in India just as you will most likely practice Judaism if born in Israel.

Princess1982: I think all prayers are heard and most of them are answered. They may not be answered when we ask or even in the order we ask for them. For example when I was younger looking for work I applied at a job that would require me to do hard labor I remember praying to God that I got this job because, I was tired of my parents taking care of me. So I interviewed and I didn't get the job I remembered asking God why? and not understanding it was clear I needed the job. Then in a weeks time that same job called me offering a nice office position 65k a year I hadn't even completed my degree yet so now I see why I didn't get the factory job God was keeping my arms open for something better. Then as far as the troubles of the world go we never know what God is preparing us for.

What about MD and CEO of companies who don't pray and employ Christians who believe they need prayer to work in a company created by non believers?

I agree with you. That's why Nigeria have one of the worst leaders in the world. People play politics based on sentiment in Nigeria so I don't expect them to complain when nothing works since they have their God fearing men/women in Power.

I am really not trying to insult anybody but it is clear that many people with you inclusive are telling people not to vote for Logicboy because of his unbelieve stance, well thats a very trivial matter but when extrapolated into the bigger Nigeria, you can see it at play all the time e.g christians voting to Jonathan just because of his faith as against Buhari. The muslims also voted mainly for Buhari just because of his faith. The christian governor of Kaduna died recently and the muslims went into the street rejoicing because of the death of a christian. Its is really pathetic that we treat each other first as an affiliation to a religion before as a human being and that is one reason the black race is backward. Too much division among us.

What I see happening here is the reason Nigeria have bad leaders. People voting out of religious sentiment that is why I don't pity the suffering masses becos they refused to use their brain to make decisions. Keep on voting politicians because of religious affiliation and not what they can offer. Whether Logicboy wins or not, he has been the most active member of the religious forum and the result will not take that away from him.
