PoliticsRe: Why Do Nigerians Think Ghanaians Hate Them?? by 360command: 3:25am On Apr 05, 2012
omoghana22: you are the biggest mugu.............i bet you if you are not 419, unemployed looking for job or tell me? how dere you comparing nigeria banks to ghana banks?, have you ever hear that banks are merging in ghana before? you are 1 out of 1000 illiterates. your banks are working for our economy but ghanaian bank cannot come to ur so called powerless country for lost business. always no that nigerians are hard working people but ghanaian are brain working....be humble........
"omoghana22: your banks are working for our economy but ghanaian bank cannot come to ur so called powerless country for lost business" - brother no offence,a business man aims to make profit but he should not look at the profit alone but remember that there are risk or threats in a business, this is where it shows that the Nigerian business man are more bold than the Ghanian. Some countries of the South america regions have got problems which cannot be compared to what Nigeria might be having but Americans or Asians(Chinese) goes there to invest ignoring the risk and yet are making it.
PoliticsRe: Why Do Nigerians Think Ghanaians Hate Them?? by 360command: 3:01am On Apr 05, 2012
yawkusi: Bring it on. Ghana commercial bank, the biggest bank in Ghana has more branches and assets than all the Nigerian banks put together. Agric Developement bank, another Ghanian bank is bigger than all nigerian banks put together. Nigerian banks do not rule ghana, get it from now. In the banking industry we call nigerian banks Neon lights, adverts everywhere posters everywhere but they carry very little weight. Here are the 10 biggest banks in Ghana and there is no nigerian bank in 1. Ghana commercial bank 2.Agric bank 3. Ecobank ghana 4. stanchart ghana 4.Barclars 5.Calbank 6.Stanbic 7.Fedelity bank 8. SSB Bank 9. Merchant 10.UT Bank

Grow up young man. the world does not run on words
Why is this author 'yawkusi' writing like a small boy.For example, CITIBANK NIGERIA(a foreign bank in nigeria) can it be compared to the branches and assets 1ST BANK NIGERIA has in NIGERIA? HELL NO. 1ST BANK owns ground in Nigeria compared to CITIBANK. This is how the case is for GHANA COMMERCIAL BANK (GCB) in relation to the assets and branches it covers in GHANA compared to the Nigerian banks operating in Ghana.

Ghana commercial bank , Agric development bank , are the only 2 Ghanian banks that has grounds. Baclays, standard-chart,SSB Bank,Merchant are foreign banks(big boys).
UT BANK AND FIDELITY BANK are just new timers in the banking sector, which means if we were to compare them with the Nigerian banks, they are not near to us

In as much as the recession affected many countries in Europe and America mostly which in turn affected Africa, Ghana needed help for investors to come into the country , a way to bail out their economy crises .This is was when the Nigerian banks started trooping into Ghana and investing which has helped the economy till today.

We are in a globalized economy so its necessary to help one another.

En Dieu nous croyons.

I do not think there is an hatred between the Nigerians to that of the Ghanians. From what i have experienced living and studying in Ghana has made me understand the Ghanians and how they reason towards us. It is glaring, the truth would never hide. You can see a level of hatred the Ghanians have for the Nigerians but there are things to which they would always respect us for which is for the fact that we are hardworking, smart, biz progress, never can be cheated in anyway, above all we are fast. With all this attribute i made mention about to the Nigerians, why hate when you can be friends and see what benefit you can get been with the Nigerians. We engage in other other negative things here in Ghana which brings about the hatred(I understand), we still play a major role in their economy and that is why they refer to us as OUR NIGERIAN BROTHERS.

Been in Ghana can be hard to get a place to rent. You might see a landlord and they would tell him O YE NIGERIAN(pardon my spelling)it means- He is a Nigerian , to the Landlord , he is like DABI DABI DABI (NO NO NO). His expression to the way he says NO NO NO tells you this guy HATE NIGERIANS badly. In this life, we have the good, bad and ugly.

I would also want to respect Ghana for one thing, they have been able to use their small resources to impact on every sector of the economy .From electricity, water, education, roads, street light. They have done well and i applaud them for it.

Like my Ivorian friend would say GHANA IS PARADISE FOR THE NIGERIANS COMING IN.
PoliticsRe: Is Nigeria Better Than Some African Countries? by 360command:
NIGERIA can be better than some countries in Africa but we just have failed out-rightly in certain areas.Let us take for instance power supply in Nigeria, it is very bad. To start with the West African countries i have been to, Benin, Togo, cote d voire, they are all having light 24/7 . i have friends from burkina faso living in Ghana who tells me they have constant light in their country. If a country like Burkina should have light, why is Nigeria's own different?

I do tell my Ivorian friend living in Ghana where i study that NIGERIA IS THE GIANT OF AFRICA(I say this because i feel proud about Nigeria). He says to me that the countries of the francophone regions or ivory coast in particular do not know it to be 'The Giant of Africa' but THE GIANT OF AFRICA WITH THE FEET OF CLAY'; This cannot be disputed but a fact. Our foundation is shaken- power inefficiency, security issues, political instability etc.

There is one thing i do tell them all, despite the fact that he says we are THE GIANT OF AFRICA WITH THE FEET OF CLAY ,our economy is doing very well. at least he can see for himself that Nigerian businesses are springing up across other African countries such as banks, insurance, telecoms etc so he should tell me what has his countries offered to the African region aside from they been the world leaders of cocoa..

So i say to you nairalanders, Nigeria is better or can be better than some African countries but depends on how you put it.

RomanceRe: Whats Ur Most Embarrassing Toasting Experience? by 360command: 12:34pm On Apr 10, 2010
Mine wasnt embarrassing,i do not know how to put it but sometimes 9ja girls can like form for their own pride been a woman.during my secondary school dayz(the SS level),at the assembly ground,i never knew that there was this girl who looks at me always and admire me so much.but this girl never for once came to me to tell me she liked me.she was my junior(a year before me).at the end of it all,we happened to meet in the university(i never knew her during that time).i was about rounding of from school. I came out from my hostel headed straight to my car(about entering),she happened to see me in shock and am like 'why the look'she said 'you went to so-so-so secondary school'i said 'yes'.she then opened up to me there and then, she told me her name so as i told her mine, she then said, 'i may not know her but she knew me back then in sec school.she also told me how she has always admired me(looks, dressing etc).then i said,'you mean it took you those many years to tell me this'?she was paused(i think she did not like that statement)well, all the same,i tried collecting her no but she refused and told me the school is a small place and we would definately see again.guys can you IMAGINE! I never saw her after that.
TravelRe: Cost Of Living At Ghana? Students by 360command: 2:24am On Apr 05, 2010
I had friends that studied in ghana,to be precised, they studied in kumasi institute of tech.i do come to pay visit whenever i am on holiday and when i grad from school.today, they are all graduate.according to them, study&living in ghana is exp.i felt it myself.when you change $100 to ghanian cedis, the money does not stay in your hand.it finishes quickly.food is cheap there but nigerian dishes are quite expensive.a flat of 4-5 bedrooms cost like $5000 to $6000(if you are staying off camp)their system of edu is hard, you must endeavour to study hard to pass very well.there is no option of 'take silver&pass me'.the country is fun,you would enjoy it there, the girls are incredible(they are straight).have fun while it last cause i had fun too during my visits there.

TravelRe: Getting Another Nigerian E-passport? by 360command: 1:03am On Mar 05, 2010
The idea of the e-passport is to avoid multi identification by a particular person.so having a new e-passport with details different from the initial is more like a fraud.if an error is made on the initial,it should be returned.and cancelled on computer before a new one is give.terms and condition applies when something like this happens.

PoliticsRe: Terror List: Close Islamic Schools And Be Delisted - Us Tells Nigeria by 360command: 3:35am On Jan 10, 2010
Before barack obama became president, most nigerians whom did not know him were fooling themselves by praising the black american president to be, right now who is praising barack obama after he refused coming to nigeria and now it has gone to this where the US is saying that nigeria should close down its islamic schools.I am not a muslim, but if i am to be the nigerian govt,i would say to hell with the US GOVT regards to their statement made.this is to say ,that the US GOVT are against the islamic religion. This does not make sense to me.Bleep the US GOVT.But if the islamic schools in nigeria are teaching extremesm, then i would say, 'where is the nigerian board of education'who are suppose to be monitoring the syllabus been taught in our school.whichever school found teaching such wrongful act should be closed down and not by closing all the islamic school.gracias
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Government Orders Probe Into U. S. Plane Bombing Attempt by 360command: 8:18pm On Jan 06, 2010
The deed has already been done.this is just the peak of it all.instead of the govt to come out there and face that yes it was a terrorist act and the person involve is a nigerian, let us just accept the fact that we are a terrorist country as the US have said.let us not dull ourselves anymore, its would be there for life that we played a role in terrorism, this is the time the govt needs to do something about helping nigerians and nigeria.we are already in their black book,we have been there from time immemorial.this is just to say that anywhere we go or do any international trade ,they would still give us a red signal. We just need to re-build,re-brand the country from the inside.if we can do this, why should i say i want to travel or you wanting to travel, why not a foreigner saying he wants to come here.if we can see their numbers coming to nig in surplus then we know we are re-branding nigeria international.one would continue to make noise about this bad vices going on in our country.but i know that if our leaders does not have the heart to change, then i know God go do watin him do before,by sending a flood to wipe out those leaders of ours.afterall ,i am glad that they are not the almigthy.just imagine,if men were God?
