PoliticsRe: Full Documentary On Nigerians Jailed In China ! (Video) by 360command: 1:03pm On Aug 27, 2012
This our country has really failed us, even if the people caught are tagged as criminals of whatever crime, that does not mean our govt should abandon them. We need to see everyone as one Nigeria,we can't leave them behind. Even if our diplomatic men cannot negotiate well enough to the asian govt for a prison transfer, the least our govt can do is to provide support to Nigerians in foreign jail.

Our embassy needs to come in by ensuring that the nigerians in jail are given money, food, provision for their support in prison. After all, the Uk ,US,Australia and other foreign countries provide aid to their citizens imprisoned in foreign countries. Why can't our govt not help the situation.

I keep asking myself , what are we Nigerians benefiting as a citizen of the federal republic of Nigeria. A country with riches but having poor people and yet we boast about we been the 'Giant of africa'- Giant of africa with the feet of a clay.

WebmastersRe: Nigeria Has The Fastest Internet Speed In Africa? by 360command: 1:45pm On Aug 23, 2012
I do not believe the report somehow .Because when I was in Nigeria, while using my blackberry, to watch video on you tube na war, it keeps breaking, except you are watching it in the night, then you can enjoy watching videos. One thing I like about nigeria internet tariff is not too expensive per say but it comes with a slow network(mostly, mtn, airtel, glo). You only enjoy fast speed internet with starcoms, multilinks, zoom and other broadband networks.

When my bro came to visit me in ghana, he was amazed when he was watching videos on his blackberry.on a one time buffer, the video was continously playing. He said, 'sh¤t, d network fast for here'. If na 9ja, we no fit watch youtube video by this time.

He went further to download movies on his blackberry, but was shocked how his blackberry data bundle got exhausted.

Now, the thing is , in ghana, you are given a small amount of internet data bundle for a bigger price but fast internet. But in 9ja, big internet bundle, with a moderate price but not to fast internet connection the way you want it to be.

How I beat the system here in ghana is by enjoying high speed internet but paying low is, I subscribe my blackberry 9ja sim for 1200 naira as monthly subscription while using my sim in ghana enjoying the fast internet service here in ghana making me get updated of various happenings while in nigeria. My 1200naira works well for me for 1 month. If I was to use my ghana sim, I would be paying about 3000naira for 3weeks. And this is quite expensive me for me to kip up-to-date.

So I think it depends on the speed and the money you used to pay for it .

PoliticsRe: Charges For Buying Fuel (PMS) With Keg by 360command: 7:57pm On Aug 22, 2012
k9ine: Greedy man?
I cant believe it. The OP just made a valid complaint about a poor service, and near-stealing and you call him 'greedy.' I will not be suprised, it's your type that would be asked to grease a public officer's palm b4 your issue is handled, after you give, you would come here to shout "the civil service is satanically corrupt."
You need serious help!
The society is a reflection of what we individuals are.
Nice one bro! Still Tell that @ebamma guy again. Na very stupidous man for calling the OP greedy man.
PoliticsRe: Charges For Buying Fuel (PMS) With Keg by 360command: 7:27pm On Aug 22, 2012
I think people are not informed on how jerrycan came about, cause if that write knew, he\she would not have said such by stating its illegal to sell fuel in jerrycans.
PoliticsRe: Do You Still Love Nigeria? by 360command: 12:47pm On Aug 22, 2012
.... I love my country,I no go lie. na inside am,I go live and die.

I love Nigeria till death but the country has really suffered we Nigerians. A country where it cannot take care of it citizen is nothing to write home about.

A situation where I see people carry bucket of water out on the street is really devastating ,are there no pipes(water corporation) flowing into our homes 24\7?

A situation where I see a country still undergo fuel scarcity, people carrying jerrycans to buy, sell or hoard fuel is nothing to write home about .

A nation where the country is having gas in surplus and still, the price of gas is expensive resulting to people using kerosene for cooking .later, NTA news will report that 'a house\child was burnt due to kerosene explosion.

A situation where government cannot provide steady electricity to its citizen and make us to result in the use of generator where generator fumes has a negative health impact in our lives making us die early @ 47 is still nothing to write home about the country.

A situation where the people of its people, the citizens of nigerians will look down at another by tribalism and discriminating one another, when we know that when we cross Nigerian borders we are titled as Nigerians and not igbos, yorubas, hausa, efik, edo etc.a white man or an african does not know your tribe but knows your nationality and yet within Nigeria, we see people hating one tribe and another or religion- this is highly pathetic.

The list can continue from corruption, bribery etc .I think a topic needs to be raised which I will leave it to the people to answer : what do you\we benefit as a citizen of the federal republic of Nigeria?

I love Nigeria but a lot is needed to be rebuilt about the country.

Merci mon amis

HealthRe: Chinese Baby Born With 16 Toes (Pics) by 360command: 8:20pm On Aug 18, 2012
Is it not this same chinese when they see we africans in their home country, they think we are aliens from another planet . When you go for shopping in some areas or city in china\ asia, when they see you as a black man buying food ,they are surprise if we really eat food.

I ask myself btw we and them, who looks very more like an alien ? Is it we been black in our skin colour or them having 2 heads, 4 hands or wat we have here ,which is a child with 16 toes? - your guess is as good as mine?

Anyway, its very sad to read such stories as this, people come out complete in this world while others come out as abnormals.

PoliticsRe: Power Supply: GEJ Seeks 'Honest Feedback' From Nigerians by 360command: 4:45pm On Aug 17, 2012
Very good. It is good to hear that there is an improvement in electricity.

To those Generator companys in Nigeria, your evil will not work -enough is enough. I think you need to go to liberia, congo as well as iraq cause the last time I checked, they have light for 7hours daily.its more worse in liberia so its a new developing market for dose generator companys in nigeria.

To those diesil sellers, if no generators, no diesel.perhaps you need to strategize on how you can get money internally aside from sales of diesel to generator owners.maybe you need encourage the people to use diesel engine power vehicles and reduce the price of diesel .

Merci mon frere

PoliticsRe: Lagosians Tapping Electricity Direct From Pole!! by 360command: 11:41pm On Aug 16, 2012
Emylexray: This is animalistic, if PHCN had deprived them of power, they would have roamed the streets of lagos chanting vulgar songs of unpatriotic lyrics here and there, now they have it at their disposal and can't appreciate it.
This is so bad and very dangerous as it could lead to fire outbreak thereby causing loss of lives. Power supply has immensly improve no doubt, we hope it continues like this.
are u sure that power has improved ? please let me know cause i always call home on weekly bases and they tell me the situation is still the same at is. I can endure whatever problems Nigeria is having but i cannot endure the fact that they are switching off power on a daily bases.

I was in Burkina Faso on visit like 2 months back, it amazed me that they did not blinked a single light.even in bad places of ouga, light they steady-This is a country they say is the poorest countries in Africa yet they have constant light.

Which drawing board?
Going by your decision , we won't be at the top of the game . There are lots of countries who are corrupts and good at bomb explosion . Even the US are very much corrupt than we are . Haven't you not heard of the halibutton bribe? It was the US who had that corrupt mind to put in their money to bribe our officials and yet you say we are corrupt?

The US says the mexicans are corrupt but yet,the big men in power have their ways of bringing the cocaine into the US to sell it to their citizen and yet you say Nigeria is corrupt.

Have you even gone to port harcourt where SHELL offices are in the rural zone, if you look at their backyard, you would see the lives of how people live and yet you say Nigeria is corrupt?

Do you know that france owns anything that goes beyond 6ft beneath the soil of some countries of the francophone region? Yet ,you say Nigeria is corrupt.

I think we have just failed to realized the harm that the western nations are doing to we africans but instead you have decided to look inwards on how corrupt our system is making it look like we are the top on the corruption list.

Don't get it twist my friend, open your eyes.
