BluStreak: Note: I changed mine from MPG to L/100KM cos we use metric system in Nigeria. I drive a 2007 Honda Accord V6 with Navigation. On city and ma village drives, I get 12 - 13.7 Liters per 100KM. But on the highway, say Owerri/Onitsha or Asaba/Benin, I get 8.3Liters per 100KM average consumption.

When I refilled in Asaba yesterday on my way back to Lagos, I got a whopping 678km estimate for the full tank at my 9.3liter per 100km. I did not buy fuel again and I had a quater tank on arrival in my house here in Lagos.

So I believe the estimate is fair enough for one to hinge on.

I drove from lagos to my villa in anambra with less than 3/4 of a full tank. I was pretty pleased with the car considering i spent an hour and thirty five minutes in traffic at ore. However, it seems to consume so much more fuel in city driving. I havent done the full maths yet but it doesnt seem to be able to do more than 7km per litre. i find this perplexing. Its a 2002 toyota camry with a 2.4 liter engine

Like Symbiandon, i used to adore the 505 evolution. that car to me was one of the best cars ever built by peugeot then. I am still in love with it and would buy one when i have the money for it. Would totally fit it out with new stuffs. make i dey watch my account balance first.

Ok here is how it goes with me. When i am bad, and that is often, i get am for plenty women. When i am good, boy , its so difficult to evn get to second base. So i guess the bad guys always win. So, i think i wanna remain bad for now.

The meters in the mobil at gbagada are okay. you just have to keep a sharp eye on the attendant. most people park and stay in their cars to be refuelled. once you do this there, you will be fleeced. Best thing is to switch off your engine. get down from your car. Personally ask the attendant to reset the pump in your prescence and have ur calculator on standby whilst maintaining an eagle watch over the meter reading.

I grew in a home of low income earners and yet we maintained a volvo 740, a benz 200 and a toyota corrola. Now my retired father added 1999 sienna to them 2yrs ago and still driving all the car. Mother will add a highlander to them before the end of the year and yet they are low income earners. My coligues at work are driving big cars comfortably and yet we are all low income earners. Sometimes you people amaze me with your comments.

fuel was 11 naira then. Now it is 120. Parts were sourced from CFAO and other genuine vendors now my brothers who go to china have bastardized the business. Cars were purely mechanically driven, now they have too many sensors and stupid brain boxes.
