HomorBj: Don't be smart by half in the name of criticisms or having an opinion, bro. Its the duty of the Interior ministry of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Rauf Aregbesola as the minister of Interior invited Vice President, and he obliged..No biggies about that. I think SMARTMOTORS’ complaint is that Aregbesola should’ve invited the President… >

It's inferiority complex at it's peak... We acting like they doing us a favor by getting our citizenship. Enough to tell you that we are a failed nation. Exactly bro! Why “reduce” it to the VP in Nigeria… When in the US it is usually “reduced” to the President himself! Show of shame indeed… Those Americans and their inferiority complex. Failed nation!! >

Originalsly: In European and America they induct thousands into citizenship every year to attract youths and those in their prime who wohld contribute to the development of their countries.
He should say who are becoming Nigerian citizenship........ how many are youths?.. how many are in their prime? .. and how are they contributing to the development of Nigeria? I'm almost sure those being naturalized have nothing to do with the development of the country but everything to do with exploitation. They should continue to wait for 15 years or even longer. If not.... they will come rushing in .... gaining citizenship and having the right to buy lands etc.... same rights as native Nigerians and before we know it ..... we become like refugees in our own land.... Zimbabwe and South Africa Part Two. Exactly bro! It’s not like Nigerians “buy land etc” in other people’s countries…oh wait… For a nation with MILLIONS of citizens living and earning (and repatriating) abroad, the crude XENOPHOBIA of some Nigerians shocks! > |

ishowdotgmail: Truth be told, Buhari may not be the best president to have ruled this country, but the man tried his best in ruling this complex country.
What makes it complex is the type of people in the helms of affair. You can’t do things solely with these bastards even if your intentions are to make Nigeria become Dubai. These demons will make your effort futile if you don’t dance to their tunes.
I wish President Bola Tinubu the very best in his presidential ambitions, and his tenure favour me and my household. We will glorify His Majesty name and heave sign of relief at last. OBJECTIVITY4ALL: One of the real problem of the country is the professional corruptions among the civil servant, Directors, Pam Sec, Auditors, Accountant are the experts in the Ministry and MDA's. Some Nigerians and their INCREDIBLY LOW standards…
Other African nations such as Rwanda, Ghana, Ethiopia, Mauritius, etc., with LESS natural and human endowment have gone from much worse positions than Nigeria to become models of relative stability and rapid economic growth and development, while Nigeria under Dullard Buhari’s watch RAPIDLY DESCENDED from one of the world’s top 10 fastest growing economies (according to the World Bank/IMF) to the World Capital of Extreme Poverty, the largest number of out of school children in the world, a veritable repository of kidnapping and murderous banditry, and one of the world’s top 10 terrorist hotspots.
So many Nigerians DESERVE the horrible and incredibly inept leadership they have! SMDH> |

Family › Re: My Personal Observation About Nigerian "Adults" by 9jaRealist: 4:09pm On May 27, 2023 |
CuriousCart: I have noticed that most Nigerians are adults by age only and not thought. 80% of adults lack a clue about their next move and direction.
They usually copy what other successful people around them are doing on the surface.
If a colleague buys a car, they start getting worked up until they also buy a car. If a neighbour opens a shop for his wife they rush to open a shop too. If their friend is into tech, they abandon their budding career and start taking tech courses upandan.
I think the copiers do this because they believe mimicking will make them reach the same goals as the person but they fail to realize that life doesn't work that way because there are many unseen events and efforts that may have led to the copyee's success.
The colleague who bought a car may have been gifted by a sugar daddy or recently lost a parent and inherited the car while you are planning to use your entire savings plus loan. The neighbour opening a shop may have had 15 years experience in that biz line while you just want to dive into it blindly. The tech guy may just have the brains for it while you are more likely to succeed at sales.
Finally, when they are done copying and don't achieve the same successful result as the copyee, the next thing is to accuse him/her of using juju and using people's destiny to succeed.
Just do you. Who told you that immature adults is a uniquely Nigerian phenomenon… When Oyibo coined the phrase ”keeping up with the Joneses” did you think Jones is a Naija name?! Not sure if this sort of driveling is a result of (a) boredom, (b) lack of exposure, or (c) simply self-hate. > |

MrBrownJay1: EDUCATE YOURSELF ON THE AIRLINE INDUSTRY!!!! unless you are a top company like Air France, Emirates etc, most new/small airlines company's aircraft are rented and/or bought (on credit) from failing airlines or from airlines that want to upgrade their fleet.
you think AIR PEACE own their planes....? they mostly got their planes from a Latvian CHARTER company called Smartlynx. Smartlynx own their planes not Air Peace. Without prejudice to the rest of your post… Nonetheless, afraid that the highlighted is actually NOT quite correct. While Air Peace started flying initially with planes leased from SnartLynx Malta, it has since made substantial orders directly from Embraer and Boeing, and all of its recent fleet (from 2018) is DIRECTLY owned by its wholly-owned subsidiary Air Peace Hopper. > |

hotwax: For the past years, our workspace has been witnessing high rate of career growth of our female counterparts, especially young girls. We guys feel so dejected and demoralized whenever promotion list is published.
It is a norm that ladies who don’t do anything at the office, those who don’t work get promoted while guys work like donkeys. This has made us lose many of our talents to our competitors.
You see female IT students squaring up to fight a Manager, threatening a Manager. We had a case where a Manager was summoned and warned to desist from correcting a particular female industrial attaché. He was told point blank that he would lose his job. When its time for promotion, ladies (both married and single) wear skimpy skirt to the office, expose cleavages e.t.c.
Late last year, we had management shakeup, the new management is dominated by women. Our MD is a woman. This has changed things significantly. They published promotion list last month, men dominated it. I got promoted too.
Things have now changed. Suddenly ladies are courteous and respectful. Office spaces is now always full to the brim. Our female folks are now working seriously. They are now nice. They are learning some processes they care not to learn before. They don’t use to work, now, they are learning the Hardaway.
In those past years, I lost respect for women in offices especially those career miniskirt ladies working in offices. I used to wonder who they fcked to get to where they are. Blah, blah, blah…
The same tiresome CRUDE AND PRIMITIVE SEXISM AND MISOGYNY that’s becoming standard fare on NL… If it makes you feel better to ascribe your professional (perhaps even personal) shortcomings to women, have at it LOSER!!> |
