In a perfect country an Igbo president would make sense since most Igbos are business minded and forward thinking people but this isn't a perfect country and the stigma brought by Ipob and the civil war still puts a stain on the Igbos aspirations to be president. It is common sense really, how can you vie for presidency of a nation where half your people don't believe in the country itself. How do you guarantee that you won't split the country or give the Ipobs what they want once you gain power? Finally the biggest and most damning evidence against an Igbo presidential aspirant is the fact that majority of Igbos are either PDP or independent so why would APC give you any attention? Wouldn't it be easier convincing PDP to choose the Igbo candidate instead of Atiku? Why avoid the least path to resistance and choose the most difficult path? Something ain't right! |
Shebi dem talk say this man is on crutches and pooping and peeing on himself uncontrollably, what now? All these cone headed alarmist don retreat to their shithole, the writing is on the wall ![]() |
tollyboy5:You still think Nigerian law is being practiced in Kano instead of sharia? You sure say no be you be the ignorant one? Your government don sell the North to religious extremists, any sane person still living there is playing a dangerous game ![]() |
Everything is now on social media, every conversation, fight and argument is now being recorded. This is what happens when you live your life for the gram, he married the internet, well congrats your life is now on the internet. Shouting wh.ore, b*tch etc na medicine after death, you no see her before choosing her as the mother of your kids? Werey ![]() |
Lightorder:You'll be surprised that it is. The problem is that majority of people are still voting for their pockets. Did you know that the last two presidential elections we had more uneducated people voting than the educated ones? Especially in the North! We had more traders, herders, marketwomen voting than most of us on social media. Guess what drove most of those people to the polling booth? Bag of rice, 2,000 Naira and party affiliation. Can you imagine if even half of these people rejected the rice and the money and vote with their conscience? |
Lightorder:Who are the so called leaders? Who chose them? What did most of them do before joining politics? Whether you like it or not the leaders reflect the true nature of the Nigerian populace. Whether it is politics, rituals, yahoo yahoo etc, the average Nigerian is all about money and power, patriots/honesty don die since 1960. |
Nigerians have more opinions on what's going on in other countries than their own. One would think these loudmouths were nationals from Ukraine or Russia. How one ignoramus in Lagos, Oyo, Enugu or Kaduna wakes up one day and decides he or she is an expert in the Russia-Ukraine conflict is simply amazing, these e-diots would argue from morning till night using up energy meant to do something creative......Loud mouthed mofos....SICK ![]() |
The question should be are you dealing with a cheater or serial cheater? For serial cheaters it is a sport, a game, a conquest. They'll cheat on you with a friend, family, neighbor etc, they are only remorseful they got caught and once the dust settles they get back at it. Forgiving and staying with such a person is like postponing your chemo treatment after a cancer diagnosis, RIP! Human psychology tells us that men cheaters are more likely to cheat repeatedly with different people while women cheaters are more likely to cheat with one person before getting caught. Yet we have more women forgiving their husbands than men forgiving their wife after discovery. Women especially those with kids are always influenced by society, children and fear of being alone while men most times find it easy to move on. So when it comes to forgiving, let's look at it from the different perspectives and not a one size fits all kind of solution, IT AIN'T AS SIMPLE AS IT LOOKS! |
Fearyourcreator:There's a big difference between inability and incompetency! |
whitemand4:Interesting. |
chronique:It's the same thing bro, you don't remove forces unlesss you are showing mercy or losing. Now the Russia that we all know shows no mercy so that leaves us with one other option, they were pushed back......It sounds impossible but one thing this invasion has shown is that Russia has a weak ground game, those Ukranians stubborn like sallah ram ![]() |
Walkee:Yahoo boys collecting money from the USA are using mules/magas. Those stupid enough to use their real names are caught sooner or later. These loan companies are having people pay into accounts that are their own, how are they opening these accounts? It's simple, zero accountability/regulation. |
Fearyourcreator:I am not a civil servant or a politician. Just a veteran I.T Auditor/fianacial professional, a Ph.D holder abroad with common sense and knowledge on how sensible governments/countries regulate fianncial transactions. |
Walkee:The stupidity is the government failing to enact laws that bars these companies from operating. Which bank accounts are the repayments being made? Are they not Nigerian banks? Why can't FG instruct banks to close accounts of those loan companies or reject their transactions? Common sense is not common, it is better to pick a battle against Google instead and mumu people on Nairaland will hail them for it....RUBBISH! |
Chyjoey:The difference is that with homosexuality or heterosexual people it is pretty straightforward, gender is not in question, also your example of driving while drunk is not applicable since we have laws to combat that scenario. In reality, we are saying the same thing, because of these "kinks" you can't expect everyone to just fall in line with their chosen lifestyle. It's just like homosexuality, they want worldwide acceptance but don't want to respect religious beliefs. How do you tell a deeply committed Christian to choose between his or her livelihood and the kingdom of God? For transgenderism, I'm thinking well beyond myself and looking into the future, without safeguards the future looks increasingly more dangerous and unfair. Black daughters are already on an uneven playing field I can't imagine my daughter or granddaughter competing with transwomen without some type of legislation that insists on full hormone treatment to balance the strength and speed advantages. I can't imagine a society where not disclosing that you are transgender to someone you intend on being physically involved with is accepted.....These are credible issues and until some type of mechanism is put in place to address them, fierce resistance is more likely then worldwide acceptance as their lifestyle(as it stands right now) is a direct threat to my rights and that of my future kins. P.S. We all need to get comfortable with not being accepted by everyone. Some people don't like fat people, some don't like dark people, heck some don't like people who bleach. The right to disagree with something should not be misconstrued as hatred as long as physical abuse is not involved. |
Chyjoey:Isn't there a conflict? Who should make sure these imaginary boundaries that you've set are followed? What happens when one party does not follow them? You claim the right to own assault weapon is okay as long as it does not infrfinge on your rights but how do you stop someone who owns 4 or 5 of these weapons and suddenly snaps one day? Finally, to your cheeky comment about transgenderism. Imagine having a daughter with a life long dream of playing for a professional sports team or going to the olympics only for them to compete against a faster, stronger transgender woman. Furthermore, imagine having a boy in the prime of his life enjoying himself at the club, he sees a beautiful woman, they gel and one thing leads to another, they get a room and bada bada bada.....Oh no the beautiful woman with great boobs is actually a man. It's easy to talk about rights and this el-doraldo view of human peace but the reality is just so much different. I've only used two examples and you can imagine the awkwardness, I implore you to read real life stories of trans people not disclosing that they are trans, read about the emotional trauma, read about the court cases etc. You were quick to shout bigotry but I bet you never truly researched the issues I highlighted, often times people who argue online do so without real world analysis, talk is cheap my friend, very cheap ![]() |
Chyjoey:While this sounds all good and warmly, it is nothing but a fool's paradise! Take the last part of your statement and tell me does this apply to the rights to own assault weapons, do drugs and abort without restrictions? When does your personal liberty and freedom affect mine? Is it until you're doped up and end up causing multiple car fatalities? Is it until you shoot up a school? If the final part of your statement was true, why do most abroad get upset when someone shouts that they hate blacks or jews or gays or women etc? Finally, what the last part of your comment shows is that humans might naturally want to be liberal but given human tendencies and reputation, we almost always take it too far. A deadly disease has killed millions, is this enough for you to wear mask and give up certain outside activities? (HELL NO, IF WE DIE WE DIE, I AIN'T WEARING NO STINKING MASK)........(Hillbilly, 2020) |
invectives:How can anyone rip you off when they did not force you to sign? You are begging for my money, I told you I need to sleep with your wife for you to get it, you and her accepted my offer now when I came to do the deed, you are shouting rip off, fraud, wickedness.......Are you okay? The only part I agree with, is that governemnt needs to regulate them, this is for the consumer's protection and protection for the loan companies as well legally speaking. |
Shey na Buhari cause this one too? I said it before and I'll say it again, Nigerians are naturally wickeed. Someone that can use your name to collect loan can use your name or identity to commit a serious crime. You still dey call that person friend? I dey fear you o ![]() If government refuses to regulate these loan companies and the loan companies refuses to do proper verification then I am afraid we would continue to see more situations like this, 40 loans? He don turn loan company to ATM....Werey boi ![]()
|
alphabbey1:You confirmed that from Ibadan? Werey ![]() |
Uchesis:Arindin, did you blame Dangote from profiting from sugar, cement etc? Did you blame Adenuga from profiting from Glo? Na your papa money dem use start business? Imagine a full grown adult blaming people for his own weakness..... Depression never kill you ![]() |
Oya dumb people, e ko je rush rush, hurry up and drink the zobo. In an interview in 1979, she predicted Putin would rule the world. The same Putin that did not rise to power till 20 years later. Abi when did Putin become prime minister and then president? She predicted 9/11 attack in 1979, yea she predicted planes flying into the world trade center.....CAN WE SEE THE ACTUAL INTERVIEW AND HEAR THE WORDS? HILLARIOUS ![]() |
Uchesis:Shey na your papa's money dem dey loan people? Person dey use hm money do business you dey call am wicked, Nigerians una don finally craze finish ![]() |
Uchesis:Dem force you to accept the money or hold gun for your head before you signed the contract? You no get money, you come begging me to loan you some, I stated my terms and conditions that I want your first born, you accepted and now you're crying when I want to take your first born, NO BE JUJU BE THAT? ![]() |
baralatie:Update yourself, Russia has been launching hundreds of missiles every day, only thing that has not been used are chemical and nuclear weapons. This is why Ukraine requested anti missle blockers and 500 missiles per day from the USA. |
baralatie:The debate was never about what Ukraine has lost....We all know Russia is the superior force here, the debate is whether Russia will achieve its aim without going nuclear or using chemical weapons. We all know once Putin goes nuclear the conversation changes as it is now genocide. You keep thinking Ukraine will not get additional support or weapons, that would be a big mistake. |
baralatie:Again I am not going to argue on factors that existed before the war, so to your other point of what use is it, if the Ukranian governemnt remains in power? You said their air force and navy are gone but yet Kyiv still stands, yet Ukranians are still causing massive casualties to Russian soldiers. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm saying the longer the war goes on the more foolish Putin looks and the more unrealistic that he's ever going to be able to take over Ukraine. Once Putin becomes truly frustrated he's going to do the unthinkable and either use chemical weapons or go nuclear on Ukraine, once he does this, he would have successfully fallen into the bait set by the West and signed his own death warrant. |
baralatie:Again I'm not going to argue with you cos most of what you wrote makes no damn sense! Donestk and Lohansk were primarilly controlled by Russian backed rebels for the past 8 years now, only thing that has changed now is that Russia has fully removed any Ukranian opposition and recognized those regions as independent states officially, see the link below for more enlightenment. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/2/22/what-are-donetsk-and-luhansk-ukraines-separatist-statelets |
baralatie:So what exactly has changed, Donetsk and Lohansk was never being fully controlled by Ukranian forces, the Russian population there controlled much of everything so I'm amused that you think anything changed. The only success so far by Russia is losing 60,000 plus soldiers in a war that so far has yielded nothing positive. You really believe Russia will make Kyiv neutral? Laughable.......It's easy to be an expert sitting in your parlor typing on your phone ![]() |
alphabbey1:You have a friend in Russia? LMAO, dude I have 2 family members, 18 colleagues and I've been to Russia 3 times in the past 5 years on business functions. When companies starts shutting down, food prices doubles and triples and you say people are living good then you my friend need to wake up. I assumed you had better evidence than a friend's opinion, what a waste of time ![]() |
baralatie:Again stick to facts and not your personal opinion, Crimea was never in contention, that has already been discussed with Minsk II. Donetsk and Lohansk is what started this war and unless Russia takes Kyiv and removes Zelensky, nothing has been achieved! Once again, war that was supposed to be quick and decisive could last months and even years and at the end if Ukraine does not fall then what has Putin actually achieved? You keep operating with the assumption that Russia and Ukraine were supoposed to be equals in military strength, decimating Ukraine's military is not an achievement, it is an expectation, what comes as a surprise is the resistance and how compeltely disorganized and unprepared Russia's military is at combating the resistance. Ukraine might end up falling sooner or later but what this has shown the world is that Russia without nuclear weapons is not a military superpower, losing 60,000 plus soldiers in a war with little Ukraine is shocking, imagine what would happen if they face the stubborn arabs wey dey do suicide bombing for living ![]() |
alphabbey1:I hope you realize currency is not the only measurement of the economy, we have GDP, inflation, unemployment etc. Furthermore, even your currency analysis is flawed, which chart did you view, hourly, daily, weekly or monthly? You seem to be good at forex analysis, so let's rub mind and see if my experience in foreign exchange is still up to date ![]() P.S. You might wanna check the charts again using the hints above ![]() |
