Whether you like it or not, there is a level you will attain in life, you must trust strangers as domestic workers.
You better treat them well and if they are young, encourage them to go to school or learn trade and support them all round.
When they know that you have their interest at heart, you are safe, if any attack comes to the house, gateman must find a way to alert you because he knows you can take care of his family.

I have been to Atlanta and even lived in NYC and there is no comparison between those cities and Lagos madhouse insane traffic. At least you said rush hours but Lagos traffic is not about rush hours but just unpredictable traffic rush hours or not. I spent almost 1hr inside Ikeja GRA just to go from the highway exit to the hotel I was going for a function this last weekend.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have read many valid comments here, and I must say the issue of domestic violence is on the increase everyday. The society at large must take this as serious issue. The causes of domestic violence can never be exhausted as it ranges from financial, emotional, traditional, psychological, intellectual, cultural, familial and even spiritual in origin. Domestic violence happens to both genders, but in most cases, the female folks suffer lethal forms of it, may be because of their fragile nature (not all sha). I believe no man would love to see his own sister treated harshly by another man. Now putting the blame on marriage is not true at all. Marriage wasn't designed to be a war zone. Atleast we never read that the first couple on earth (Adam and Eve) threw blow on each other.

Now we all here will do our generation good if we address our values. What values do you uphold strongly as a man. What values do you uphold strongly as a lady.
Personally, I tell myself constantly that on no account should I lay my hands on a woman. The same way I tell myself that on no account should I rape a woman. So one way of not being an instrument to domestic violence is to strongly entrench it in our values. The truth is that offences will always arise either in relationship or marriage. Finally, if everyone that visits this thread make a strong decision today of never to be an instrument to domestic violence under any circumstance, I think the safety of someone's daughter or son out there is secured.

The Governors are in control of the delegates that will vote in the primary.

You didn't provide evidence for mass enslavement of black people in Russia, that's why I don't believe you.

If we're talking serfdom (which had been in Europe since time immemorial) till indentured labor replaced it, then black Europeans (COLCHIANS and MOORS) would also have kept white Russian slaves in Europe because at that time black people haven't lost power completely to Europeans. Be informed that Ganibal was not a slave, so any source claiming him as a slave is automatically invalid. Ganibal was set free once he got to Russia. He even married the king's daughter!!

What you have to provide to buttress your point is a source of mass enslavement of Africans in Russia.

By the way, now that's it's becoming an academic debate, remember you said it happened during the age of serfdom in Europe. Keep that in mind.

Black people (black Europeans) were already in Europe during serfdom. In fact, they would have owned slaves themselves because our complete fall as a race never occurred yet until a black civilization called moors were conquered in Europe in 1492. The people you're talking about were likely the COLCHIANS and MOORS, not African kidnapped slaves.
