CalciumB3:What's the difference between your leaders and someone who allegedly committed fraud of Bilions? |
This is not only failing students but failing lecturers as well. What is the point of educators if the people you're educating cannot grasp your concepts? You might as well be raising cows and selling suya on the streets. If such should happen abroad, the entire department would be queried for incompetence but in a zoo, even monkeys call themselves kings ![]() |
NonEthniCITY:Savings encompases many things, don't just put your money in the bank but diversify. Investing in real estate, fixed deposit, stocks etc. The reason lots of white families survive even after a disaster is because they have the gift of foresight. Even when all else fails, purchase life insurance. May we never encounter hard times that would make our children sleep inside brothels....Amen! |
Ultimately the fault here lies with the man and no one else. No man should ever be without enough funds for raining days, no man should ever live beyond his means. When you start having children, think! What would happen to my children if one of us or both are no longer alive or capable? Are the people around me such as family, friends & peers able to take care of my kids? Questions like these would help motivate a man to save as if there's no tomorrow because truly tomorrow might be too late. In regrds to a woman leaving her kids, IT'S NOTHING NEW. Most women are shortsighted creatures hence when the going gets tough and they see no hope, they are able to bounce unto the next train; only a few women nowadays can truly exhibit the traits of our grandmothers. This is why a man must not plan his life around any woman, always plan your life around your children. Forget that expensive wedding, forget that 3 bedroom house for rent in Lekki, forget buying expensive jewelries or extravagant vehicles. Think more about trust funds, living will that makes sure your savings are there for your kids when they need it. Trust me, they'll pray for you everyday and you'll have peace of mind knowing you did your best! |
As much as I admire Jagaban, I don't think we need a controversial figure as president. Rather he should continue nation building through the backdoors and allow someone like Osibanjo or even Fashola to take reigns. Then again the next election si going to be about betrayals and jealously, will the East support a Yoruba candidate or align itself with the North? Would the North allow a Yoruba candidate or prefer to hold on to power? Can the North hold on to power without the support of the SW and the SE/SS? Watch Out for the next season of Game of Foes ![]() |
bola4dprec:Your girlfriend or boyfriend, did you seek his/her parents' consent before smashing? |
bola4dprec:Go and read my replies very well, I did not say he could not be arraigned for abduction but that the case lacks merit if the boy can prove a relationship exists. This should be very easy to prove due to social media and other forms of evidence. |
bola4dprec:Number 1: He is a minor himself so such a law does not apply to him. Number 2: Goodluck proving that he coerced or forced her. All the guy needs to prove is that htey are in a relationship. Text messages, call records, photos together and so on are more than sufficient! |
ogbonti:Not everyone marries for love, in this particular case the woman was aware that it was a means to an end. I can't fault a man for seeking greener lands but one must do so wisely, play the game and know the rules. |
Get the boy a public defender/ human rights advocate, the boy has not committed any crime. |
WARNING SIGN #1: Who pays $1500 for a greencard when the normal rate is between 7k to 15k? WARNING SIGN #2: trying such a thing in this age of Trump where no white person can be trusted. |
As a mixed tribe man, I've not profited when a Yoruba was president. My cousins that are more Igbo have not profited when GEJ was president My friends in the North are lamenting now that Buhari is president. If you believe for one second tribe matters in this sh*thole then you must be mentally challenged! Can't we see they are all the same? Igbo, Fulani, Yoruba, IJaw, everyone of them don't give a damn about the common man. If they did, things would have changed for the better. LOOK AT THIS 20 YEARS CHALLENGE: Year 2000 Year 2020 Electricity BAD WORSE Water BAD BAD Good Roads BAD BAD Employment BAD WORSE Security BAD WORSE |
Yankee101:Name one lie I've told! |
Yankee101:Your ignorance is astonishing ![]() |
Yankee101:Shallow reasoning: Yahoo is plenty in 9ja = Easy way out Drug use and sellers plenty in Yankee = No big deal. Lol....like I said go to bed, logic has left the buidling! |
Yankee101:Laughable.....Why do you think selling drugs/weeds is so numerous in yankee? You have no point jaare, you make blanket statements without supporting facts, abeg go and sleep! |
Yankee101:That is what I'm saying, you are comparing workers in Nigeria making an average of $2 to $3 per hour to workers in New York making minimum wage of $7.25 or more. You can't compare work ethics because the scenario is different. This is why I asked you to imagine workers in the USA working for peanuts and going through the stress of getting to work and leaving for home. Imagine the toll it would take on their mental and physical well-being. Yoyu can't give your 100% to a company when you're on the edge of depression, can you? |
Yankee101:There's no one in NY, that would commute 2 hours to work and 2 hours back home for $2 to $3 per hour. GET REAL BRODA! I have been a manager for years now and I also own my own ecommerce business. Let's stop this misinformation! |
Yankee101:I maintain my point, put in the same work conditions, the same pay structure and hectic transportation system, the workers in Nigeria would always outperform those in diaspora. You used an example of someone working in McDonalds, trust me such a worker would protest vehemently if he/she received $2 per hour of work after spending almost 2 hours to work and another 2 hours back home.YOU CANNOT IGNORE, contributing factors and then label those in Nigeria has having poor work ethics. Furthermore, signing timesheets or clocking in, does not equal productivity, it only ensures attendance. When I worked in a call center, calls were monitored, tasks were monitored but there was always shortcuts that cam e with experience, so my friend appearance of productivity does not always mean efficiency....lol. |
Yankee101:With all due respect what you've just stated is pure unfiltered RUBBISH! Average Nigerian works longer hours than their American counterparts, average Nigerian spends almost 2 hours to get to work and 2 or more hours to get back home, all these for less than 40% what their American counterparts are getting. Throughout my career in America, starting from the bottom and then making it into middle management ina Fortune 100 company, I can tell you thatthe work ethics of most Nigerians over gives employers joy. We need to stop this rubbish of assuming Nigerians are lazy, throw the average American into the work conditions we have in Nigeria and watch them go into severe depression. |
Redman44:Correct! If we could all reason well well, we would see that charity begins at home. Let's hold local chairmen, commissioners, Governors responsible. They each get a budget every year, can they account for it? |
Okay let's even play along, let's assume we divide. Yorubas: Who will be president? Tinubu, Saraki, Fashola, Akeredolu? SE/SS: Amaechi, Jonathan, Kanu, Obi? Are we not seeing a pattern here? The same corrupt element would still govern us, the same problems would still manifest, they might come in a different shape or form but they would still exist. Look at states like Lagos, Imo, Cros Riv and so on with enough resources to stand alone, how come people in these states are still suffering? |
If you had ever benefitted from corrupt politicians, godfathers etc, YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO LEAD NIGERIA! Everyone on that list has directly or indirectly benefitted from corruption. Everyone of them would be ashamed if they ever got a chance to debate with logical thinking Nigerians who can expose their records of either actively or passively enabling corrupt government/politicians to flourish. If we are truly serious in this country, everyone on this list should be certified INELIGIBLE! |
Lies from the pits of hell! 250 on the dot, not 249, not 248, not 251; a nice rounded figure.....lol. |
crestdevelopers:Truth is when people like you don't know what the hell you're saying, you tend to miseducate those who don't know better. Your words have consequences and if calling out your BS is that consequence then accept it like a grown up and move the hell on. I didn't go through the rigors of two masters and years of corporate hustle in a top 50 company to be schooled by people who operate based on emotions rather than facts. So shove your advice where the sun don't shine! |
A union formed on lies shall see its end in misery. You are the architect of your own downfall, you made your bed now sleep on it! |
crestdevelopers:I repeat shut the hell up! Law enforcements are going to clarify that it was fireworks and not a bomb afterwards but they are not going to apologize for the arrest as they was reasonable suspicion to act, people get killed for common toy gun and reaching in their pockets to bring out identification not to now talk about fireworks with wiring. No need to argue about this, you only know what you know, can't fault you for being ignorant! |
crestdevelopers:Oga with all due respect shut the f*ck up! Ordinary science experiment got siezed for looking like a bomb. Innocent arabs are detained every week in the UK and USA for additional processing. Black men are being shot in the USA for looking suspicious, go and read up about probable cause and then come back to explain why you feel you can tell a cop how and when to get suspicious about you....LMAO! |
ChoCho54:You think Nigerian police are trained to detect fake and real explosives? Even abroad it would be panic first ask questions later. Nobody wants to die, the question still remains, in a part of Nigeria so polarized by religious conflict what gives the guy confidence to bring such to a church? Fireworks or toy, guy must either be stupid or insane! |
crestdevelopers:I laugh in Swahili. First of all when it comes to security issues, there's a general principle, screw permission and ask for forgiveness later. Unless you want to be jovial, there's no denying that to the average Nigerian the device looks like a bomb. Now whether it is firework or bomb, no reputable court would grant such a person any compensation because there was just cause for suspicion and subsequent arrest. Let's remove the Nigerian element, go abroad, get such a device and leave at in front of a court house and see what happens. You'll see the bomb squad, police, national guard, ambulance etc arrive within minutes, they take security very seriously and we all should do the same! |
DarkJeddi:Whether it is a bomb or firework is not the issue here. The issue here is why would someone bring such a thing to a church/area in the middle of religious conflicts? In case you don't know, the North is at war! It's like going to Syria or Iraq and shooting bangers, na yourself you dey do! |
crestdevelopers:It's either you're purposefully being mischievious or just plain high. I used some examples before so I'll use one more now and I'll be happy if you can try it. Take the firework and enter any police station, media house, government building and say nothing. Let's see what the reaction would be. I am still baffled why anyone would bring such firework to a place of worship. Was the church trying to decorate its buildings with fireworks? We can call security operatives stupid and whatnot but preventation is always better than cure. |
